I can't say enough great things about Benchmark at Hanover. My dad is there and with me living out of state, I am confident that he is cared for and happy. The range of activities to keep him active and engaged is incredible. The facility is clean and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and helpful. You can tell through and through the staff truly cares about the residents.

We found Benchmark for our brother as it was being completed and preparing for the grand opening. The architecture and decor is beautiful, luxurious and comfortable. That being said, the true asset of Benchmark in Hanover is its caring and experienced staff. Feliciano, Marissa and their entire team evoke an atmosphere of dignified and quality care for all of the residents. Our observation is of a community of residents that have become neighbors and friends. We are happy to find such a great living alternative for our brother.

I highly recommend Benchmark Hanover. The Executive Director and her leadership team made the process so easy. And, once my friend moved in, they were extremely responsive to any questions or concerns. The aides, nurses and the receptionists are second to noneso caring and genuine.

My 96 year old mother lives here, and I'm truly grateful for the level of care and compassion she receives every day. What stands out most is the genuine kindness of every single associate, the support staff, nurses and managerial team. They don't just do their jobs, they take the time to connect with residents and their families in a meaningful way. In the past almost 3 years, my own personal concerns and questions about my mom's changing needs and care have always been welcomed and addressed thoughtfully and in a timely way. My mother is nearly blind and the staff consistently makes sure she gets to the activities she enjoys. Someone is always there to gently escort her, ensuring she feels comfortable, included rather than isolated and, most importantly, safe. It's clear they are paying attention not just to her needs, but to her dignity and quality of life. One of the most touching things is that everyone knows her by name and greets her with a smile. First time visiting, outside looked very nice, very impressed inside, staff was very friendly to us. Staff to our aunt and uncle were very attentive to their needs during dinner. The food looked tasty, our aunt wanted a different dinner which they accommodated with three alternative meals. People around looked happy and busy. Very impressive.

We just moved my mom into Benchmark at Hanover which, understandably, was a traumatic life change for her after living in the family home for over 60 years. The place is beautiful and the staff couldn’t be more wonderful! On the first day she remarked that she felt like she was on vacation and, by the second day, she was engaged in activities and telling us she’d call us later!

Our dad was at Benchmark for nine months. They were exceptional. The level of care he needed was very physical and they met every need, even as he declined and his needs were ever changing ..Everyone was kind and patient. He adored them. We adored them. We will miss the light, clean, energy of the facility and the staff. Each and every one. His room was always spotless. Laundry always clean. He could get his hair cut, his pedicures, his dental needs, his doctor needs. Everything was onsite and easy to schedule. Can’t say enough fabulous things. I have visited a friend at Benchmark on 3 occasions in the last several weeks and am more impressed with the place, on each visit. It is clean, and contemporary with great food and ambiance. My mom moved to the memory care unit at Benchmark in December and she has never been happier! She absolutely loves it here and we do too! We are so relieved that we found such a great community for her to be apart of where we know she is being well taken care of. Tatiana is the head of the memory care unit and goes above and beyond and always keeps us updated! All of the staff are so friendly and caring, from the nurses, receptionists, to activity coordinators they have all been so great! You can tell they truly care about the residents. There are so many different activities every day and my mom has had so much fun. I would highly recommend Benchmark to anyone!

My father moved into Benchmark at the end of December 2022 and couldn't be more pleased. At 92, he was ready for an assisted living facility. The staff is exceptional. The facility is gorgeous. The food is varied and delicious! There are multiple activities available every single day and residents can opt in or out as they see fit. While we have had great interactions with many of the staff, Cassidy Burke, the Traditional Care Director is an exceptional standout! We made the right choice with Benchmark! Update: My Dad, unfortunately, passed away in mid January due to an ongoing heart condition. His decline was slow in the beginning but rapid towards the end. The care, concern, and love that he received from the staff at Benchmark was above and beyond. They not only respected the process and the difficulty that I as his daughter, was going through, but they also committed the resources and time that was needed towards the end to make my Dad feel cared for and respected. My Dad LOVED his year at Benchmark. I would recommend this facility to anyone!

After one year, my feelings have not changed, and I have gained more respect for the people at Benchmark At Hanover. They are still amazing! They treat my family member with respect and extend the same kindness to all of us when we visit. I am so relieved that my family member is safe, well cared for, and happy in the Harbor Unit. I am blessed to have found this truly loving environment to care for her, encourage her to be a part of a community, to listen to her, and laugh with her. They have not allowed dementia to stifle her innate personality.

As everyone knows, it is a difficult decision to put your loved one in an assisted living. Benchmark at Hanover has made this decision one that was not a regret. Their memory care unit is the best at keeping our cousin happy, healthy, safe and enjoying her new home. Tatiana has been the best!! She has kept us informed about our cousins daily activities and well being. Anytime we have called in need of any kind of information everyone has been pleasant and helpful. We live out of state which make this an even more difficult situation that the Benchmark staff has made so much easier for us!

I visited my aunt and uncle today at the Hanover Benchmark. They love it. The facility was beautiful and beautifully decorated. The staff was attentive and welcoming. My mom has been a resident in Benchmark Hanover since October. Every aspect of the community has exceeded expectations and the staff has been instrumental in helping her adjust to her new residence. The entire staff, from receptionists, chefs, & servers, are great, and very caring towards the residents. The level of care and attention from the nursing team and aides is exceptional, and the administrative department has been readily accessible to help with any and all questions. Mom has settled in nicely, and I’m at ease knowing the level of care and kindness she’s greeted with every day.

Service was splendid, and comforting to my family during our visit. The amazing staff was welcoming to me and my children to the point where I found myself in the position of being begged to stay. As a mother, I can see myself staying there, taking use of all the resources and opportunities available in the future. I highly recommend this hidden gem in the outskirts of the Hanover mall, as a place to house the ones you deeply love, and care for. Giving them a chance to experience all the service, and thrilling activities as they reach their golden years.

Louise Bishop- My sister Elaine is a resident on the mind and memory unit. Our family is very pleased with her care. We have found the unit Director Tatiana to be an asset. Her prompt responses to our concerns relieves our family of anxiety. She has an excellent rapport with both Elaine and family and she goes above and beyond to see that all Elaines needs are met in a timely fashion. The ancillary staff are very friendly and pleasant they are always attentive and willing to assist with problem-solving when issues develop. The activity program is great and we have observed residents participating and enjoying themselves on a regular basis. We feel the transition to Benchmark has been a very positive one for Elaine and has made this difficult time a lot easier on all of us.

My husband and love of my life was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s ten years ago. Sadly, things reached the point that I had to place him in a memory care facility. This was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. That being said, I know I’ve done the best thing for my husband and our family. I cannot praise the staff at Benchmark at Hanover enough! They are all very loving and caring. They keep the residents engaged with a wide variety of activities throughout the day. The facility is state of the art. I love the flexibility to take my husband into the assisted living areas for activities and dinning if I choose to do so. Our family looked at many places and none of them compared to Benchmark’s memory care. I also have a brother that needed assisted living care and moved him to Benchmark as well. He too is very pleased with his new living arrangements. Thank you Benchmark for all you do for my husband, my brother and my family.

Mom moved to the memory care side of Benchmark this November. It was a hard decision but so happy we decided on Benchmark @Hanover. The warmth you feel from all the employees makes this place a loving home. Titiana is the head of the memory side and as absolutely wonderful! She is kind and loving to all the residents!! Valarie runs the activities and is terrific!! She brings so many wonderful creative projects for the residents to do! All the nurses, RCA people, girls cooking and helping the residents eat are so warm and in tune with all the residents. Truly Benchmark is an absolutely wonderful home! It is so difficult to watch our Mom lose her memory to Alzheimer’s but also so wonderful to see her smiling, enjoying her activities, feeling safe and secure! Benchmark has proven to be a beautiful home for Mom.
