Apartments with private baths and kitchenettes are also available. The staff is some of the best in Cambridge, they're always available to help with any level of services our residents need. We can assist with medical reminders to designing exercise programs and scheduling entertainment events. We designed the dining area at Neville Place to be a cozy, home style setting for our residents and family members. Our specialty is customized menus that provide delicious, home cooked meals that meet the needs of all residents.

I think it is a great place. My apartment is very nice, food is good, and it is next to Fresh Pond so there are walking paths all around and that was one of my requirements. Lots of trees. Also it is a short walk to some stores, CVS, bank, Trader Joes, wine shop etc. carol

Rosemary has made a wonderful, remarkable adjustment to living at Neville. The staff has taken extra effort to get to know her better and to make her feel comfortable in her new home. Rosemary has a deep love for children and animals - and very much enjoys their visits. Her talent for art has been unearthed, And she often talks about visits with her friends. My mother has been living at Neville for four months and already has made so many new friends! The staff are excellent and do everything they can to make my mother comfortable. This is a lovely assisted living community in a historic old building. They have assisted living and memory care run by Senior Living Services.

After being here less than a week I could tell Neville Place was the assisted living resistance for me. As a special card stated, “Because of You, I know what home is supposed to feel like. Thanks for giving me the space I need to be myself and the support I need to grow.”

We have had a great experience with Neville Place. My dad has been a resident of the Compass memory support wing in November 2019, and my mom moved into a traditional apartment in April 2021. I have found the staff at every level to be caring and responsive. The food is good and the facilities are very nice. I am so appreciative of the quality of life that Neville makes possible for my parents.

My mother moved into Neville Place in December of 2015, and lived there until her passing in May, 2018. The staff there are excellent. They treated my mother with love and respect, and are an open book. She was engaged daily, cared for, unafraid, and very comfortable. I do not hesitate to recommend Neville Place Assisted Living.

My family's experience with Neville in 2017 for the care of my grandparents was absolutely wonderful. They truly care about their patients and treat them like they are family. From the time my grandparents arrived at Neville to when they past on, I saw the quality of care such a high level, even higher than I hoped for. I strongly and wholeheartedly recommend Neville to anyone needing mursing care for a family member.

We chose Neville Place because they have good security. The staff is caring, and the place has a good feel. My mother joins their activities, and they take their residents out a lot. More importantly, they're one of the cheaper places around.

Caring
This community is located at 650 Concord Avenue in Cambridge, MA. From the moment we first spoke with the receptionist on the phone, we could tell this was going to a be a pleasant experience for my father. It was obvious from all that happened during the initial phone screening that the person on the other end was smiling and enjoying her day. She then set an appointment and we met with the Executive Director the next day.It was appealing to not have to meet with a marketing director, rather the opportunity to meet with the person in charge of the community presented itself. We had a facility tour, lunch, and spent time with other residents. Every second of the experience was enjoyable for us and we soon became friendly with the staff.It wasn't soon after this happened that we decided to move my father into this community, which he enjoyed tremendously. He goes to exercise each day, enjoys lunch with his friends, and has gotten back to the loving man that we all knew. There is no other place I could imagine him living at this time.He enjoys his long walks around Fresh Pond and his art classes led by the Resident Care Director in the art room. He even likes having all the college young adults coming to the community to volunteer in different aspects of his life. The computer classes he takes on site are superb and he is really enjoying himself once again. If you are looking for a place for your loved one, this is it!

This facility is fairly new and quite nice. It's located about six miles outside of Boston, so convenient for family members and other visitors who live in the city. There is also a three-mile walk around a big pond on the premises"a real plus for residents who can do it; management believes in exercise as therapy and is good at dealing with emotional health issues. The buildings inside are nice and the food is very good"better than at most facilities"family style dining with a number choices available daily. A full range of options is available here"independent living, assisted living and memory care; also skilled nursing and short-term rehab services. The set-up groups residents according to their care needs"with those housed on the third floor being the most severe. There are a lot of social programs for residents with varying interests and needs"including art classes and other cultural events. There are also lots of activities offered onsite, such as music programs and spiritual discussions. Plenty of amenities are also available"including a daily bedmaking service, personal laundry services and a pharmacy delivery service. A real forte of Neville Place is its memory care"and many Harvard-affiliated Alzheimer's specialists come here, which is a big boon. Other caregivers are also good and attentive; the nursing station responds quickly to calls and there is a high ratio of staff to residents in general. Staff members seem willing and able to spend time with family members who want explanations of residents' care and conditions.
