Stonebridge Avita has provided superb care for my mother. The staff is excellent with the residents. Director Jim Kingsbury does an incredible job. My family is very pleased.

My sister has been a resident at Stonebridge at Burlington since February 2025. She started out in assisted living and has since transitioned into the Avita Neigborhood. She is flourishing at Avita. There are activities the entire day, each and every day, and she is getting the care and attention that she needs. Her physical health has improved dramatically and she has made good friends both at Avita and at Stonebridge. The staff is amazing. The medical team is top notch and they work in concert with her doctors to make sure she is receiving the proper medical care. Her diet and exercise have greatly improved which has also contributed to her overall well being. My family and I are grateful to Emily, Shannon, Jim, and the entire staff for the great care they have provided my sister.

My mom has been living in the Avita memory care section of Stonebridge since last summer, following her time in the independent living community there. We knew moving her to memory care was the right decision, and we are so glad we did. The entire staff is incredibly compassionate and caring, and I cannot say enough positive things about Jim's leadership. He keeps the residents as engaged as possible with daily activities and music therapy. It provides me with great relief to know that my mom is in a safe place and being well cared for.

The Avita memory care neighborhood is excellent! Jim Kingsbury, the ringleader, guides everyone calmly through the day with kindness and music and bus outings and more music! The whole Avita staff is very good; also notably excellent are Carla and Gigi who take responsibility for tracking everyone's needs. Some services are brought on-site, like GP, podiatry, hair stylist, dentist (but I do not recommend the one one-site dentist as of 2026, On-Site Dental).

Our parents, Larry and Mim Martin moved to Stonebridge in November 2019. They were nervous for a few days at the beginning until they became familiar with living in an assisted living facility. However, once they settled in, they absolutely loved living there. Our dad and mom especially liked that no they no longer had to cook any meals, the fact that there was a nurse available, aids who provided help when they needed it, and the entertainment and activities that were provided. The meals were really good and as a family we were able to eat meals with them. Our mom died in January 2023, our father continued to live at Stonebridge. As he aged he became legally blind and had a diagnosis of moderate Alzheimer’s. They made sure he was able to get to all the activities he was interested in. Provided the extra help he needed so he was able to continue to live in his studio apartment. Unfortunately he is now in a nursing home for the medical care he needs. The entire family is grateful for the care both of our parents received from everyone who works at Stonebridge; they genuinely care about their residents. Our parents also appreciated the kindness of all the wonderful people they met while living there. We highly recommend Stonebridge for those looking for an assisted living facility.

I wanted to share what a wonderful experience my mother and I have had with Stonebridge! My mother has lived there for 5 months and every aspect of her health and wellbeing has improved since the move. Every single person there learned who she was immediately and has done everything possible to make her feel safe and welcomed. As a local occupational therapist I have been in many facilities and feel Stonebridge of Burlington is one of the best places around.

Our mom has been at Stonebridge Burlington for just a month now, and has settled right in. Mom tells us how good the food is. Which was a main concern for us, that takes a big worry off of our shoulders. The staff already knows my mom’s likes & needs which has helped her feel at home very quickly. Having nurses on staff to administer mom’s daily meds has been a game changer. Everyone here is very friendly & helpful. Lots of great activities daily. Mom especially likes the live music, and the daily happy hour at The Pub is great too! Not only is the building & rooms beautiful, the grounds are as well. It’s also in a great location to every store you could imagine which makes it convenient to take mom shopping. Easy assess to the highway for family & friends to visit. Thank you to everyone there for making all our lives happier in every way!

I would like to speak about the Aveda memory neighborhood at Stonebridge at Burlington, for residence, faced the daily challenges of memory, loss, and physical limitations. The staff who choose to work in this area deserve "medals of kindness. "These special people have earned our deepest respect and heartfelt gratitude. Their gentle care and loving interactions with residence, some of whom may not always comprehend what is happening, or may respond with frustration, I met with COM, compassion, and incredible patients the staff consistently treat residence with grace and dignity, and we deeply appreciate each and every one of them.

I would like to share my family’s experience since my father has been a resident at Stonebridge Burlington. My Father is going to turn 92 yrs old this coming October. He has been on his own since his wife passed in 2006 up until last summer he has done remarkably well with day to day tasks however the beginning of last summer we noticed some subtle changes in his daily routine so my brother and I sat down with him and though he could use some more help with him taken his medication and making sure he was eating a more balanced diet. Since my father has been a resident of Stonebridge he has gotten excellent care from the staff . His medication is given to him twice a day as prescribed by a staff member . When he moved in the maintenance staff has been a great resource for him any time he needs something done in his unit they are right there ready to help. He has had a couple of medical issues since has been there and the nursing staff has been excellent they have communicated very well with my brother and me. There are a lot of activities that my father enjoys such as the pool table , doing puzzles walking outside when the weather is good and the men’s group he belongs to at Stonebridge. The food is great for him it is a balanced meal plan he seems to enjoy it. My Brother and I are very happy with the experience my father is having at Stonebridge the communication has been great and we feel that my father is in safe clean well run place and get the services he need for his age and level of independence. I moved here in July of last year and chose it primarily because of the spacious room sizes, which have been a great fit for me. The entertainment options are excellent, and the meals are consistently very good. I’m also happy that I’m able to have my dog, Bonnie, living with me”it really makes this place feel like home. That said, I do wish I had looked more closely at the overall resident demographic before moving in. Many residents have hearing and vision impairments, which can sometimes make social interaction more challenging than I expected. Overall, it’s a comfortable place to live with strong amenities, and I appreciate the positives it offers.

Our Mom has been a resident of Stonebridge at Burlington for a little over three years. We continue to be immensely grateful that she is living in such a high quality community. It's beautiful, clean, welcoming, and well-maintained inside and out. There is always a wide variety of interesting activities and events to engage in, and the dining experience is a daily highlight. Most importantly, all department team members continue to amaze us. They are knowledgeable, skilled, professional, kind, caring, responsive and compassionate. We thank the Northbridge Companies for Stonebridge, a place where our Mom continues to be happy, safe, and well cared for.

They have wonderful services, Perfect location to the library, and close to other services within Burlington. All meals are phenomenal, and the activities that are provided everyday at our doors really engage us to get out and about with my wife and I. Entertainment is always fun to go and always enjoyable. Importance of having my own vehicle helps us get around town doing errands. Staff is excellent, polite, and engaging. The one downside is storage within the apartment.

My mom has been living in the Avita memory care section of Stonebridge since September 2023. I looked at 4-5 memory care facilities before deciding on Stonebridge. It was the most expensive of all that I looked at, but the staff and facility really impressed me. My mom’s room is lovely and has big windows that look out on a wooded area. They recently replaced the carpet in the hallways in Avita, which was much needed. The living room common area and dining area are getting a little worn looking but are clean and acceptable. Jim, the director of Avita, is great. He plays multiple instruments and is always entertaining the residents and doing sing alongs, which they love. He usually has an assistant who helps him with activities, but they lately seem to have trouble keeping the same person in that position. The rest of the aides there do a good job (some better than others) with helping care for the residents there. Memory care is difficult, and I appreciate the kindness and patience it takes to do such a job! My big negative with Stonebridge is the cost. When my mom moved in, her rent was $11,180 a month. They are raising prices effective this coming September for at least the THIRD time since she has moved in. As of this September, her rent will be $12,100 a month, almost $1000 more than 2 years ago when she moved in. We are fortunate that my mother has long term care insurance, but that will eventually run out, and I’m not sure we will be able to keep her at Stonebridge if they keep raising their rates as often as they have been.

"Bait and Switch". My experience started out very good. Prompt callback from Stonebridge, same day visit to see the facility, and there where two rooms available (one of which was newly renovated and furnished). I was told the cost would be $8995 per month for assisted living and that there would be a $5,000 assessment fee, but they would cut that in half now to $2,500. I agreed and went forward. They called back an hour later to tell me that the price given was incorrect, now its $9,325. I agreed to the higher price if they could honor that price for two years without any increases. They agreed to honor $9,325 BUT, now I would have to pay the FULL assessment fee of $5,000.I would say this experience has made the already tough decision even more difficult.

My parents moved into Stonebridge of Burlington in September of 2023. It was a difficult decision for our family to make, but it was the BEST decision we ever could’ve made for them. They both absolutely love living there. The benefits of keeping them safe, them having personalized care, having social opportunities, and support with daily tasks, all while maintaining as much independence as possible is something that we are so grateful for. The staff treats them like they are family and always goes above and beyond for them (& us).

My parents are there now. Sure there are problems, like with all these places. But I was blown away by how many staff members I saw stop whatever they are doing to have positive interactions with residents. It very clearly wasn't because I was in the area; they just do that. Parents came from another Burlington assisted living which was not nearly as nice.

My Mother is in the memory care unit within Stonebridge at Burlington, and in the past 2 yrs Jim, the head of the unit, has and continues to do an excellent job. He has a great routine for the residents there, constantly finding ways for them to move, to learn, to listen and to participate. They are often a part of major celebrations in the main part of Stonebridge too, and my Mom loves the warm weather months when she can go out to their special outdoor patio, help plant flowers, see what's growing. Living outside of MA makes it hard for me, yet Jim helps immensely, sending me a quick text when she's running low on needed supplies, etc. There is also an Onsite Dental Care and Eye Care that comes to Stonebridge too-makes it easier. My Mother is dairy free and they work with me. I'm glad to know their ice cream is one that she can have. And when she moved in, as she will again, everyone helped! Their help with hanging pictures, measuring side tables, and moving when she was not in her room was something I am so grateful for. Nanci Burtman

Our Mom is thriving at Stonebridge! Everything about the facility is gorgeous, including the individual apartments, the common areas, and the grounds. Deciding to become a permanent resident at Stonebridge was one of the most difficult decisions I ever made. It meant leaving the home we designed and built and the friends we had made over the last twenty years. After Emma passed away and I experienced some health issues I realized that it was time to establish a new home. Many members of the staff have worked here for four or more years. They quickly knew my name; and now say hello Ed when I meet them in the hall. The COVID virus has limited normal interaction with other residents; however Stonebridge has not experienced the spread of the virus that has plagued so many other facilities. Opportunities to gather for exercise, games or entertainment and still maintain social distancing are a daily occurrence. The noon meal is served in the dining room while breakfast and the evening meal are delivered to the rooms. There is always a choice of meals (including a peanut butter sandwich if all else fails). I have routinely selected the heart healthy choice which today was a barbecue beef over rice and garden salad wit blueberry cake or desert. PS: I have had my first dose of the COVID vaccine here at Stonebridge and will have the next shortly.

My 90 yr old Mom spent the last 8 months of her life in an apartment at Stonebridge. The staff were excellent and she made a number of strong connections with them and a couple of the residents. She was very fearful of living at an assisted living facility but everyone worked to make her feel comfortable and welcome.
