I have had a loved one at Hale House for six years. It is clean and well maintained and run by caring and professional staff. They provide residents with three hot meals a day, served in a beautiful dining room and monitored by a nurse to ensure that no one has a choking incident. They have regular activities for residents. The only downside is that rooms are small and bathrooms and showers are shared. However, they have a cleaning staff on site throughout the day and the facilities, as mentioned, are well maintained. I thought the sharing of bath/shower would be an issue for my loved one, but there has never been a complaint. Not to mention that it is in a beautiful and peaceful location--walking distance to many things the city has to offer. I am so glad that I found Hale House!

Fine old rooming house in the splendid Back Bay. Management keeps the place vibrant and clean. 24/7 nursing staff. An excellent alternative to living independently.

The nicest rest home in MA. Clean comfortable, well run. If you want to be in a rest home, or need to be this is the one you should shout for. The interior is stunning. they have doctors and other medical people come here. Have lived here since OCT 2010. Glad to be here. Come join the fun....
