I do want to recognize several staff members for their continued compassion going above and beyond. Nairi for taking the time with mom and helping her with her showers. It is so wonderful to have the same person each time. Randalyn is always smiling when you see her and acknowledges those around her. Jessica gives the best hugs and is very welcoming as soon as you walk in the door. Kylie is just as welcoming and makes you feel special. Ashley (night nurse) has given me such a sense of peace knowing mom is well taken care of. Brazette, I saw you on the camera dressing mom and making her bed. Thank you for doing the same thing your staff does; it shows such respect knowing it is teamwork and not saying that's not my job. Kudos to a great boss. Oh, I can't forget Sandra, she does such a great job cleaning moms' room and helping with mom's clothes when I need help. Shonda, for always reminding me that the paperwork is due for long term care reimbursement. I know I am missing so many..... Tamira, for always making us laugh and taking such good care of mom. Hope, oh Hope.... I am not only blessed with your friendship but also having you in mom's life is SO REWARDING for so many. Your constant uplifting and encouragement for others to succeed is priceless. I honestly do not have enough words to say how SPECIAL all of you are to us. I am sorry to leave any out, especially by name. Thank you all for your compassion, making the residents feel important and heard. I personally THANK YOU ALL from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for taking care of mom when she needs it the most.

Terrible care. Dementia pateint who is friend had fallen on Thursday, and when private caregiver went the next Tuesday, there was still the blood from the initial injury caked on his face, his hair and on his sheets. Unbelievable incompetence and worse, a lack of caring!

Avanti Senior Living at Lafayette assisted my mother for just under 3 years. While most caregiving facilities in the area are experiencing staffing challenges due to covid and other situations. Avanti still always put the resident 1st regardless of any issues. My mothers needs were always met within a very reasonable amount of time. The loving care/assistance was evident in each one of the employees personalities and tone of the conversation/interaction with mom. My mother loved it here at Avanti and I cannot say thank you enough.

Avanti Senior Living has been the biggest blessing to our family. When Hurricane Laura hit Lake Charles, we were forced to move my dad to Avanti for an unknown amount of time. Now, a year later, we wouldn't move him for ANYTHING! The amount of love and care he receives at Avanti is amazing. The staff is in constant contact with us and makes sure that he is well taken care of. We know that there are many people that make this all work so well, but would like to mention that Kaitlyn and Victoria go the extra mile! We are thankful for the entire staff. Thank you!

Avanti is such a beautifully appointed assisted living. From day one the staff treated my mom like family. They consistently go over and above to make sure she feels comfortable and safe. Even through the Covid season they have protected the residents well while continuing to help them experience community and stay connected to loved ones.

After having to evacuate our dad due to Laura and then finding a new memory care in Texas because His memory care facility was damaged which ended up being not at all what we wanted for dad and then almost finding a facility in Lafayette which was just smoke and mirrors but honestly we are so thankful because God shared Avanti in Lafayette to us and from the first phone call with John we had such promise that we just may have found a place for dad that we been searching for. We explained our situation and within no time we had dad moved. Trust me its never easy moving and leaving them but there was such a calming feeling about Avanti and the staff that it made it a little less heartbreaking. As time went on they would COMMUNICATE with us on how dad was doing. That has been one of the biggest issues we had with other facilities was the lack of communication. Communication is everything to a family and even more now with Covid and we cant visit. No place is perfect when it comes to your love ones but Avanti definitely strives for and reaches for perfection everyday.

The staff is exceptional! From the Executive Director, Administrators, front desk, dining room, and caregiver staff my Mom has received the best of care. If Avanti couldnt get any better, when the stress of the coronavirus came into play, the entire professional staff stepped up their game. I am so grateful that we decided to choose Avanti for moms senior living care. Over and over these last few weeks (of lockdown), my mom has told me how grateful she is to be at Avanti and how appreciative she is for all the staff. Thanks!!!

Avanti Senior Living is one of the premiere senior living facilities in Lafayette, LA. I have never seen a more beautiful, full service, amazing team of professionals who handle every single detail that any resident could need, want! I love the way they anticipate what else could make their residents happier, busier, and engaged.
