I have lived at Summerfield Sr. Living for four+ years. I could not have found a better place to spend my senior years. The staff personnel are wonderful from the top all the way down. I have my miniature Schnauzer with me and she is well loved. They have a large Doggy Courtyard which my dog loves. All grounds are kept beautiful all year round. Summerfield is very neat and clean. Love meeting friends for meal time in the dining room.

Summerfield Assisted Living is the premier assisted living facility in St Tammany Parish. The staff is professional but caring as though the residents were their own relatives. They have so many activities for the residents and the food is awesome as well. The facility is always clean. If you need the perfect place for elderly relative this is it!!

I highly recommend Summerfield Retirement Community to anyone looking for a new place to call home. My mom lived there for several years and just recently passed away. Summerfield is a retirement community with independent living or Assisted Living. You can decide what level of assistance fits your situation if you need help. My mom enjoyed the weekly activities—bingo, painting, crafts, singers, happy hour and the Special events such as a Mardi Gras Ball, Hawaiian luau, holiday luncheons and many other fun activ ities.The Administrator, Fran Kelly-Lacour and the entire staff go out of their way to create a wonderful Senior Living environment at Summerfield.

I have lived at Summerfield Sr. Living for five years and this is the best place to live in this area. The apartments are great and clean. The whole building is kept neat and clean. The wonderful staff are always willing to help you, they are friendly, courteous, and just wonderful people. I am able to keep my small dog with me and she loves all the staff and residents. I do believe they love my dog too. I can be with a group of friends enjoying myself or have quiet time in my apartment. Also, the multitude of activities are great. I worked at Summerfield for 6 years before I retired. I loved every minute of it. Plenty of activities, and good food. The residents would describe it as a cruise ship that you never have to get off. I could not agree more!

Wow! What a truly amazing facility! We recently took a tour for my parents and we were blown away! The staff greeted us friendly, the building was stunning, the lunch we had was delicious and the residents we spoke to on our tour had us convinced this was the place for my parents. Summerfield is the best in St. Tammany for a reason!! Top notch on all fronts!

There are absolute gems to be met here; the kind that go above their job description. Mika greets you with the most contagious optimism every time she passes you in the hall. Mynia's patience makes everything seem okay even on hectic days. Carolyn can hear her resident's needs from around the corner. Yolanda makes you feel like she's known you forever. Debra makes sure you're fed and full. Helen is fun and you can be your silliest self with her. George makes you feel beautiful. Jesse and Joe will take the time to fix the smallest things, even if it's just putting a heavy box on a shelf. In short, it's the hands-on, beautiful souls on the floor like the warm vibes the laundry lady gives that make this place what it is. I couldn't possibly name them all, but these are a few that have made my experience one to remember and to most definitely acknowledge.

I want to express how happy my mother was to be a resident of Summerfield Retirement Community of Slidell. She immediately felt at home and loved her apartment and surroundings. She absolutely loved each and every employee from the administrative staff to the kitchen staff! The were all helpful, caring attentive, interested and friendly. I was there for everyday for 2 years with my mother and formed bonds that I will cherish forever. I can't imagine a nicer place for my mother to spend her last years. This is an amazing place, you will love it!

A very good place to live in your ageing days. I have been retired for many years and moving here let me retire completely. Three meals are provided each day. The rent includes house keeping as well. Doing the laundry is an easy chore. Ther3e are a lot grounds for walking and sitting and small animals are allowed. There are plenty of places to walk or take a wheel chair.

My grandmother was living at Summerfield for a while but then went to go live in their memory care Community; Anderson. Summerfield was a great place to live and she really liked it there. The staff was awesome and the Management was top notch. Anderson was also nice and they treated my grandmother very well. I recommend both of these facilities to everyone I talk to who may be looking for a place for their elderly family member.

As a visitor I was very impressed. The Management Staff was very friendly and professional. The staff were all smiling and very friendly to us. The residents seem very happy and said how much they enjoyed living there. It was decorated so nice and it was clean! I have and will continue to recommend Summerfield of Slidell!
