When we needed a place for our Mother, we researched and visited a number facilities in Slidell. After much review, we chose Summer House/Park Provence. We have been very pleased with our selection. The staff is very considerate of the residents. The managerial staff is very tuned in and is available to address any questions or concerns. I highly recommend Park Provence/ Summer House.

I moved in several months ago after being on the waitlist for almost a year. My apartment is spacious and I was allowed to decorate it as I wished. I am absolutely astonished that everyone who sees me that works here, knows my by name. The rooms are meticulously kept. Everything is taken care of for me even all of my meals and utilities. Now I am free to do anything I want 24 hours a day and now I have more time to do it all! Maintenance has been wonderful, taking care of things immediately. The staff have responded to all of my needs with kindness and promptness. Although I still drive it’s comforting to know that on a day when I don’t feel like driving, the bus is available at no charge during the week for my errands and group activities. I have spent many evenings with other residents listening to a talented piano player who lives here, guessing sing titles! I’ve been able to reconnect with friends from many years ago here and have made several new friendships. My only regret is that I should have done this sooner!

Park Provence is an wonderful facility that we moved my father to once he could no longer stay at home. Susan, Audrey and the whole team were welcoming, empathetic and supportive. It was a very challenging time with my father and the staff had the skill, patience and training to help him through his illness and last days. I would highly recommend the facility to anyone who is looking for a place for their aging relative.

Park Provence has been a lifesaver for my family. Audrey, Susan, and the entire staff are the most compassionate and caring people I have come across, having the experience and knowledge necessary to care for the residents at Park Provence. They remain current on the latest information in the care of all residents conditions, including those with FTD, which is what my sister needs. She did not want to leave her house, but for her safety, she needed Park Provence. She has adjusted to her apartment with her furniture and pictures from home thanks to the efforts of the staff. Park Provence is SUPERB!

They take the best care of our Meme!! She and my uncle have been there for several years and when my uncle passed everyone was so compassionate and loving! Meme is still there and staying active! They always have special activities for them which keeps their minds going strong! We love you all!!

I have had the opportunity to be on site numerous times in a work related roll and for social engagements and have always seen the seniors who call Park Provence their home to be in good spirits and well cared for. I have a friend who lives there and is very pleased and happy to be part of the community. You can have a beautiful building, which Park Provence does, but it's the care that is provided inside of those walls that makes a facility special. The staff and care given at Park Provence is top notch. The residents are known by name and are treated like family. You will not find a more cheerful, loving community!

I have a friend who lives here and I am so impressed every time I come to visit her. Everyone is so friendly, caring and go out of their way to help as needed. I think it is awesome they allow pets also. They will bring you your meals to your room if you dont want to go to the dinning room. The grounds are beautiful and well kept, and plenty of places to go sit out side. I would give them a 5 rating, but since I dont live there I felt I didnt know enough about what is like to live there.

We were visiting my mother for the Snazzy Jazzy Brunch. We had a wonderful time! The band was great and lots of fun. I truly appreciate the staff who are so friendly and patient. My Mom's move to Park P Memory Care was seamless and she is thriving. New residents get a Welcome party and everyone who attended was impressed with the food, the size of Mom's apartment, and the staff who really do care.

The staff is caring and consistent - I always see a familiar, smiling face every time I am there. The facility is clean and bright and the residents have a better social life than I do! Some think of this type of place as an institution- it is not! If you are having a hard time taking care of mom or dad- just visit! I have new #grandmagoals after seeing PP.

Such a beautiful warm place to live. My father lived there for 3 years and after looking at 4 other places I know this is the best place out there to live. From the beautiful deco, to dining, to the people that work there. Awesome place! But it is truly the staff that makes this a wonderful place to live. Everyone so caring.
