We are in the process of moving our Dad into Brookdale Shreveport. We are so happy with the friendliness of the staff, the safety and comfort of the facility, and the new friends Dad has already met. We were worried Dad wasn't going to like the idea of moving to a memory care facility. But after we finished our tour, he said "sign me up"! The Sales Manager, Mali, was wonderful to work with during the process. Brookdale Shreveport has such a home-like atmosphere. We definitely recommend it!

You have private rooms, and you cannot take any medicine or it's extra charge.. it ain't cheap. If your family has money it's good place, but if your under $3000.. this is not the place for you!

May family is happy with Brookdale Shreveport because it's a smaller facility with a pleasant home-like environment. You can be comfortable in many different areas throughout the facility or be catered to if you choose to stay in your apartment. There are many outdoor areas, including a courtyard and they are animal friendly. The menu has choices and the food is good. The staff is friendly make you feel at home, they are attentive to your needs. There are a variety of things to do, and well-planned events that include your family members. The facility is easy to get to and close to amenities; transportation is available if needed. It is a well-kept, safe, and inviting facility, we feel comfortable having our family member there.

Toured the memory care unit and found it to be clean and spacious with room for residents to put items from home. Residents were active and visiting with other. I would recommend this memory care facility.

Brookdale Shreveport has been a lovely experience for my 95 year old dad for the last two years, since losing my mom... the were together 72 years. He wanted to meet people and enjoy activities like dominos, Bingo, music specials and much more, without the responsibility and upkeep of a home. It's been a delight.

Brookdale Shreveport has been a godsend to our family. My mom was a resident there for about 2 1/2 yrs and they took the best of care for her. The staff became a part of our family and took the best of care of her. Everything is great including the food. If you ever need an assisted living for yourself or a family member, I would definitely recommend Brookdale Shreveport!

Brookdale Shreveport is a lovely assisted living community with a staff that treats your loved one like family. It is so comforting to know that we don't have to worry about our family member when we are not there. They have lots of activities for them and are open to new ideas, too! We would choose Brookdale Shreveport again in a heartbeat!

We were delighted with the care that my mother-in-law received during her stay at Brookdale. The staff and administration were outstanding and very professional. Because it is a relatively small senior community, it was obvious that my mother-in-law was treated Like a member an extended family by the staff at Brookdale. The nursing staff was excellent, as was the housekeeping staff. The administration was very caring and compassionate, and worked extremely well with us in our time of need. We would not hesitate to use Brookdale's services again.

Brookdale Shreveport feels like home. From the moment you walk in and hear a greeting from the concierge, you'll notice a family-like atmosphere, that is not found everywhere. Brookdale Shreveport is decorated beautifully and has a cozy feel so come have a cup of coffee and enjoy some time in front of the fireplace with us.
