They helped my cousin for one month to transition to a peaceful death with the aid of compassionate and knowledgeable hospice workers. They were all attentive day and night. A positively homey feel for an assisted living facility. The executive director, Kyle, as well as his staff, truly care about each and every one of their residents. The kitchen also has meals that are so good, I would come in like it's a restaurant if I could.

During our search for a facility for a family member, we discovered Summerhouse on a search on the Internet and thank goodness we did. The staff there are so professional and prepared and informative about their product and the facility that it made it very easy for us to make a decision. This was after a long arduous process of seeking out and touring other facilities. Everyone we encountered from the sales department to the Executive Director to the nursing staff, memory care, and facilities staff were extremely professional and helpful and provided us relief that we were placing our family member in the right place. They were so good that we already recommended the facility to another person we encountered we would highly recommend this facility for the care of a family member. And it’s a beautiful location.

Summer House is a beautiful place for your love ones, I visited there with a friend as he visit with his family, the staff was very welcoming when we first walked in. The residents were doing activities in different areas on the 3rd floor, which was good to see.... It looks really nice & smelled very fresh.

I have nothing but the highest compliments for Vista Shores. The facility, grounds and amenities are superb. However, the most important factor is the human touch. I am extremely grateful to Stephanie Ordes, the Senior Lifestyle Counselor, who provided the most compassionate and professional guidance I could have desired. Throughout a rapidly changing landscape, she was always available with information, advice and sincere care. I was fully informed and confident with choices offered. Unfortunately, circumstances prevented me from transferring my loved one to Vista Shores. Nonetheless, due to the care and professional attention that I received, it will be my only destination for my own future assisted living needs and for anyone in my care. Thank you, Stephanie.

My Mother moved here in December. She has thrived with three meals a day and socialization exactly what had been missing in recent years! She’s 94 and after a brief period of adjustment she has made friends and participates in all the activities. I have to make an appointment to visit her!!

We are very impressed with SummerHouse Vista Shore. The assisted living facility is beautiful and such a great location in New Orleans and it is still close to us in Metairie. They have a great activities programs for seniors, very thankful for them! If you are looking for a senior care facility, take the tour as it is definitely worth it.

I can't say enough good things about Ashleigh! The whole process of looking at Vista Shores and making the decision to move our loved one there has been a pleasure. The facility is clean and homey. The Mnagement and Staff are professional, knowledgeable and offer compassionate care. When touring one picks up the feel that Residents are well cared for and happy. I would Place my Parents there.

My wife and I moved into Vista Shores when it first opened 10 years ago. She died here 9 years ago, and I elected to remain here despite many family options to choose from. I have also looked at other alternative options. No facility will be as comfortable as one's home, But Vista Shores/Summerhouse remains an excellent option.

I am a resident of Vista Shores since April 4 2022. upon arrival I felt very welcome. The staff her is very excellent and concerned with the care and welfare of the residents. Nursing staff is excellent and knowledgeable. Food service is excellent. the maintenance is excellent, and the the facility and very well kept. This is one a very beautiful facility. Residents are friendly and very respectful and I would not hesitate to recommend Vista Shores to anyone! I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
