Sunrise has several long-term staff of designated care managers who help create a warm, family-like environment. Sunrise of Metairie is a senior living community that offers a holistic approach to care & steers away from using drugs. It provides comfortable and spacious suites that can be personalized. The community is beautifully decorated, usually themed for the current holiday.

The wonderful staff at Sunrise really treated mom like family and made her final years truly special and memorable! Now, anyone who knew mom, knew that she was a handful! Like an angry Honeybadger with the nervous energy of a squirrel. And when the clock struck noon and she started into her Jack Daniels, God help us all! But the executive director, Katrina made mom her personal project and really made the whole experience wonderful. After mom passed away, my siblings and I were extremely grateful for Katrina working with us on the damage bill. I would recommend Sunrise to anyone without hesitation!

I cant say enough about the excellent care my Mom received while there at Sunrise of Metairie. From the nurses to the care givers she always received compassionate care with the focus on promoting wellness whether in mind, body or spirit. In addition, their chef is a master of local cuisine preparing gumbos, shrimp poboys, red and beans and rice and so many more. Their activities director is the best at keeping them entertained even during the pandemic quarantine. I would highly recommend Sunrise to any family looking for a place for a loved one.

This community is a warm environment with a true caring nursing staff. The food is superb. The communication of the sales director was flawless. The Director treated us with such professionalism and kindness. This is a solid team as well as a great Community. Highly recommended !

I must give every person that works there a very sincere Thank You. My 99 year old aunt lived there for 2 years. She was cared for by the nicest people that I have ever dealt with. These people truly want to help the residents. If you or a family member need to move into assisted living, this is the best place to be.

I toured this community for my mother, and her needs. Everything went well for the most part. From what I was shown the community appeared to be well maintained. The staff I met was friendly, and my questions were answered. The experience was a nice one overall.

The community for my husband is outstanding. The staff are so attentive to his care. The community is very clean. I like knowing that the staff are trainned to help him at all times. They offer a nice menu and we would recommend this community for the care of a loved one.

It's expensive but I have no complaints. They only clean the rooms weekly which is standard; by the end of the seven days, cleaning is really needed. It is a beautiful place and everyone has been super friendly and tried to meet our needs and requests 100%. Lots of activities both onsite and "field trips." Food choices at meals. We are waiting on a smaller unit to become available as we are paying for a two bedroom which is more than is needed. Caretakers are very responsive. Nurse practitioner available onsite with appt, RN on staff. Transportation to appts offered, hair salon on site. Really no complaints at all.
