My mother lived out of state, and although we made several attempts to move her into Trustwell Living at Terrebonne Place, family circumstances prevented it from happening. Through every step, Crystal was always there for us—patient, caring, and ready to help. Even when my mother's cognitive decline ultimately made Trustwell no longer the right fit, Crystal continued to guide us and help us find the resources we needed. To begin, this was the most difficult decision I have ever made with my family. As a close-knit family, we never intended to place our parent(s) in a nursing home. However, once we became members of our Junior Auxiliary community, where we actively engage in activities for the elderly, we recognized that Terrebonne would be our preferred choice if we ever had to relocate our mother. My parents have recently become residents of Terrebonne Place. I was so overwhelmed after visiting a few similar places in our area. The second I walked in to Terrebonne Place I knew I had found the perfect place. All the staff has been beyond amazing in helping me with the application process. They have been so patient and compassionate with every question and concern I have had over the last few weeks. It's only been three days since my parents have moved it but so far they are loving it. They are usually quick to complain about everything. They especially love the good. My mom has made so many friends so far. It is so wonderful to see them so happy during this scary transition in their lives.

From the moment I set up an appointment to tour the facility til now the staff has been amazing. Crystal helped with all of our questions and helped my father in law feel comfortable about leaving his home to move into the facility. Everyone is amazing and we are so grateful for them.

The staff has been amazing during this transition with my father he moved in the week of his birthday of all times and the staff has been so welcoming and helpful in making this a very simple process and making dad feel at home. I can not say enough good about the staff all the way from the top to everyone that check in on my father thru out the day.

Went in for a tour visit at trustwell Living for my elderly neighbor. I have to say, I was so impressed with the employees. I met with Jay Tipton the executive director and Crystal Horner the community relations director, their compassion and devotion, is unparalleled. It was such a charming little place that feels homey and pair with the lead staff that care enough to not only be committed to their normal duties but to become an actual friend to the residents, was such a comfort. My neighbor is not ready to make the decision yet to move but after seeing the place and the quality of life of the resident who just beamed when we walked in, I feel safe telling her that this is the best option for her.

My mother-in-law who recently passed away was at Terrebonne Place since 2021. Jay and his team were caring, compassionate and thankfully had an overwhelming amount of patience. As you can imagine, it took much convincing to get her to agree to leave her home which she loved and move into a place where she did not know anyone. Crystal was able to do so with love and understanding and our family was grateful for her help. Also, thank you to the nurses Candice and Kim who supported us with her care. These nurses were always willing to answer our call and assist in time when we needed support. Thank you to the whole team at Terrebonne Place.
