I just Love the feeling I get when I walk into Bossier City! Residents are always smiling and having a good time, and the same goes with all the staff. Especially, Jan (sales Director) who is just a ball of positive energy (be prepared to laugh a lot)! You can tell that she Loves what she does and has a great relationship with all the residents. They spoke so highly of her! If you are thinking about coming in to tour, I promise you, this is exactly what you will feel as well!

We have been very pleased with our choice in The Blake as placement for our family member. Great staff and the property is well maintained and well managed. It does not feel like a "senior care" facility and residents get a more independent living feel while being watched and cared for at a distance. Wonderful peace of mind. Highly recommended!

Had a delightful Easter buffet with Mike's mother at The Blake! Food was delicious, wait staff happy and helpful. The ambiance was cheerful throughout.

Everyone at this community genuinely loves their residents. Most importantly they have made us all feel that my mother is important to them. This is as good as it gets (PS Extra shout out to Jackie for finding mother's teeth). We should have made this decision years ago. I just hope my mother gets all the time she deserves to enjoy all there is to enjoy at The Blake.

My family and I have had a wonderful experience at The Blake. My mom has been a resident for close to a year. During this time We have observed and engaged with a couple of employees that we want to acknowledge. We want to express all the employees are wonderful but there are two in particular that go over and beyond the call of duty. Eric Moore is over dining/coffee shop. However, he is constantly engaging with the residents and assisting everyone.....even with the smallest details. He knows everyone by name and room number. He even knows detailed food preferences and likings The other employ that we adore is Patrice Brown. Through all the staff shortages she has remained constant. She has also loved on our mom and kept mom's room straightened and cleaned on a consistent basis. She always greets everyone with a smile!! If you need anything done at the Blake.....both of these employees will definitely try their best to accommodate.

I cannot say enough good things about The Blake of Bossier City. My mother moved in when The Blake opened over three years ago and we have not had one complaint. She is in Assisted Living. My family and I feel our mother is safe and well taken care of. The community is always neat and clean. The staff is absolutely wonderful. This includes the office staff, housekeeping and caregivers. I truly believe they have the residents best interest at heart. A year and a half ago, we moved my mother in law from another facility in Bossier City to The Blake. She is in Memory care. The staff in memory care are very caring and my husband and I feel she is well taken care of. We visit frequently and have had no issues or complaints. I would without hesitation recommend the Blake to anyone looking for assisted living or memory care. I would like to say the staff is very good at interacting with the residents and offer many activities to keep them engaged in life. This is both assisted living and memory care. We are very happy with both our loved ones living at The Blake. Pam Anderson

My experience with the Blakes so far.. I wish I could give them more than five stars everyone that works there is so inviting friendly and encouraging.. The visual of the Blake is like a five star plush resort, with people in advanced ages doing many different things in comfort.. I see happy people here and this makes me happy I look forward to moving my mother completely into the Blake.. she does not want to leave her home but the Blake is where she chose.. The Blake has been a blessing for my mom and our family. From the Executive Director to the Housekeepers, every staff member is friendly, compassionate and caring. Management and the nursing staff are accessible and communicate whenever there are concerns or issues. The facility is beautiful and clean, and they go above and beyond to make sure the residents are active and involved - listening to live music is one of my mom's favorite past times at The Blake. We have peace of mind knowing that Mom is in good hands at this very well run facility for those who need some help living their life to the fullest.

Dehumanizing ... My mom was on the toilet when someone came in and SWABBED her nose for a covid test ....not even the decency to wait for her to finish. And, they called me to approve her Covid shot - she is a retired RN and competent to make her own medical decisions.

My Aunt lives in The Blake in Bossier City, she is not satisfied with the quality of food that they serve! She cannot eat their salads because they are not fresh! Also they have very little fresh fruit to serve the residents! I really feel badly for her! I will say they have been on top of the virus situation and have keep everyone safe!

I just moved my uncle into The Blake. It's a beautiful place. The amenities they offer are like no other. They didn't leave anything out. The staff is just awesome! They really make you feel at home. They are professional, caring and kind. It's a very cheerful bright happy atmosphere. Also extremely clean! I'm certain he will be in the best of hands. I'm so thankful to have The Blake in North Bossier.
