Reviews Symphony of Valley Farms
October 2025
All the staff is friendly and they seem to do their best to please! Bldg is clean and seems well maintained. The food on the other hand is some of the worse I have ever seen! Today vegetable soup had 4 peas, 5 carrot bits, beef broth, tomatoe juice and had so much hot sauce couldn't eat it. Lunch has quiche with green beans! Never heard of such a concoction! Haven't been there for breakfast but can't imagine. My Mom said eggs always has syrup on? If it's like the rest of the meals I'm sure they do! Have to beg for ice for drinks! I don't know who does the menus or cooks but need some lessons! If the food was better I would give 5 stars! Alot a money a month to pay for terrible food. Story Pointe could give them some lessons on food service!

My mother has been at Valley Farms since October 2023. She had a short hospital stay at which we thought that we were losing her. After discharge she went to a rehab facility and the family made the hard decision that she was not able to safely stay in her home. We did not want to put her into a nursing home so we looked at a few facilities and also talked to friends that had recently been through a similar situation. We decided on Valley Farms and hoped for the best. By December she was back to her old self with the care that they provided. A special shout out to Select Rehab which is onsite daily. Samantha,Tracy, Pam, Shannon,Amy and the rest are the best. Alisa,Kandace and the rest of the nursing staff are there daily to address any concerns that we have. All of the caregivers become part of our family as we're there daily to visit with Mom and her new friends. Couldn't be happier. This is not a nursing home it is assisted living andI hope that Mom can stay here for a long time. Also it's fun getting to know the other residents and hear their stories This is a partnership with us helping them provide the best for Mom as long as we can. If you think this is something that would work for you then come and see Jaime and ask for a tour. Larry

My mother has been a resident at Valley Farms Assistant Living facility since October of 2023, and I have been tremendously pleased with the care provided to her by the nurses, physical therapists, and all employees. While I live out of town, I generally visit with my mother on the weekends, and it's always a welcoming environment. Various forms of entertainment are always available - groups coming in to sing, preachers, movies, bingo, ping pong, or just sitting outside enjoying the fresh air. The facility is very, very clean, and the residents are friendly, and a joy to get to know. My hats off to Valley Farms! Thank you for being there while loving and caring for my mother. Linda

I have been at symphony for about 3 years now. I love my residents so much! They have became like family as well as the staff. They have worked with my schedule so much since I am in school. I just wanted to say how much I love my residents and facility.

Our dad was a resident at Symphony at Valley Farms for a little over 3 years. While there he transitioned from Assisted Living to Memory Care. During that time I was able to witness the loving care that all the staff had provided my dad. Researching places for your love one is not easy as information is limited. However, we have had experiences with other facilities. For those searching, I can say you will not find a better place than Symphony at Valley Farms, with a staff who truly cares about the wellbeing of their residents as well as the residents' family. I would like to sincerely thank each and every employee whom my dad and I got to know for taking such great of him and for your dedication and hard work during his stay. As a medical professional myself, I would highly recommend Valley Farms to anyone seeking Assisted Living or Memory Care for a loved one. Karen C.

The first thing you notice is the cleanliness of the well appointed facility. During the year my brother has been at Symphony Valley Farms, he had been well cared for, well fed (he likes the meals served) and allowed to be engaged in a myriad of activities offered by their wonderful activities director.

We needed a place for my husband's Mother to live once she could no longer take care of herself. We were introduced to Symphony at Valley Farms, and Brandy who was the admissions and placement person in May/early June in 2022. Mom is living in the memory care area because she needs reminders. Brandy is a lovely lady, and has done every thing she can to make this transition as easy as possible. She is now the Executive Director, a position I feel she deserved and is perfectly qualified for. She gives it her all. She has made us feel like family. She gladly handles any problems I bring to her. Did my Mother n Law like it? Absolutely not! However, she has come to look at Symphony as her home. She has an awesome CNA that looks after her daily. She loves Mom dearly and I believe Mom loves her back. From the time, we have been there, I do look at things and see where they don't have enough help. I don't believe it's because of anything the Director, Nursing, or anyone else does. Corporate needs to allow more employees to come on, and pay a living wage. From experience, those jobs are hard and unthankful. Thank you everyone for your assistance, and being willing to care for those clients that keep you so busy on your shifts. You are an awesome staff.

My daughter always did her ballet Christmas recital there from what I expected for three yrs being there a total of three times the facility was VERY clean, cozy an welcoming the kids seemed to being smiles an happiness to the clients they seem to really enjoy the little ones performing for them it was heart warning to be honest.

My mother stays here and it is very nice. Beautifully decorated.
May 2023
My mom has been with Symphony at ValleyFarms for 4 years now. From day 1 they took mom under their wing and helped her as she adjusted to living at a new place. It was hard on mom after living in the same house for 56 years. Now mom doesn't want to go anywhere else and Symphony is her safe place. I can lay my head down at night and not worry because I know mom is being taken care of. They make sure she takes her medicine and are constantly checking on her. They have a variety of activities for them to do and mom loves it. She gets out and does more than I do. Lol They supply 3 great meals a day and I never have to worry about her not having anything to eat. Like I said it was a hard adjustment at first but I wouldn't have mom anywhere else. Symphony is our extended family and mom has made so many friends that she loves so much!! I highly recommend Symphony at ValleyFarms if your loved one needs assisted living or memory care needs.

Working in healthcare is always challenging but these residents here make it so worth it! I view them like my family and couldn’t imagine being anywhere else!
February 2023
Symphony at Valley farms has been a blessing for us. My mom is in memory care. They are able to get her to shower and keep her safe and well fed. They have weekly entertainment, she loves the music.
February 2023
If I could give 10 stars I would. The people that work at Symphony at Valley Farms have become our extended family. The care Dad receives is exceptional, thorough and loving. Recently my Aunt needed a place to live that has Personal Care. It was relief to find out Symphony had a room. Three meals a day ( Dad loves the breakfast), 24 hour nursing, in house PT & OT, activities and beautiful surroundings make Symphony a great HOME.

Okay, first impression, this staff felt like family! They're very friendly and eager to help. They have a homey, feel-good facility with a staff to match. I feel good knowing Grandpa will be well taken care of. It was hard to make the transition, but I knew it was the best thing for him. So I'm very grateful to find a group of caring people around him! If you're like me and considering a few different options, I highly recommend Valley Farms!

We moved my mom to Symphony after she had a fall last summer. She initially went to a rehab facility, but when she was discharged, we knew she couldn't return home. When we toured Symphony, we were impressed with the facility, but even more than that, we were impressed with the staff. Brandy and all of the staff at Symphony helped make this transition as easy as possible for Mom. They are all so friendly and compassionate. Mom feels very safe and very comfortable, and I have peace and comfort knowing that she is cared for around the clock.

My mom LOVES it here (she's a "younger" resident here)! I had to move her from the Chicago area, closer to me. Everything from our tour with Brandy to the care and kindness from everyone else has been exceptional. My mom constantly tells me how everyone is so nice here and she never wants to leave. They've done a great job taking care of my mom and are so friendly to me and my family when we go for visits. Moving my mom here was the best choice and I'm so grateful how much she loves living here.

Symphony at Valley Farms is wonderful place to be. All the staff and residents are a joy to be around.

A family member is in this facility. There have been multiple problems from the beginning. Large staff turnover. Huge issues with getting prescription drugs on a timely basis from Pharmerica. Once waited for 3 days to get an antibiotic. Food left sitting in room. Call bells left unanswered. Services paid for not provided. A credit was offered for that issue. I question all the 5 star reviews as a talk with another family only confirmed these issues. No fresh fruit offered unless you're a fan of mandarin oranges. Try getting your loved one back in facility after being in a hospital. It is nothing but red tape and bureaucracy. For the price paid, things should be better.

I like Mt Aunt's place
October 2020
This place is a very dedicated facility with its employees and their residents. They try to do all they can to make sure everyone stays happy. And is very connected with the families of residents in the facility. I would highly recommend this facility to others around me that have to or would like to find a facility to put their loved ones in this would be my first pick

I have had the opportunity to volunteer at Valley Farms several times over the last few years. The staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome. Being an outsider. I have observed the various relationships between employees and residents and found that residents are treated like family and they love being thete.the building itself is also well kept from t he front door to the back, and the grounds are beautiful.

On a whim I took a job here at Symphony at Valley Farms. It has forever changed my life and my heart. I could have never met so many amazing residents and co workers in my life. This place is a team from the bottom up. Love my job!
September 2020
I have nothing but good things to say about this place and all the staff members I have been in contact with. I wasnt sure my mamaw was ready to go into a facility but all the staff had made it a very smooth transition for my mamaw. My mamaw is my world and one of the best things is that the staff stay in constant contact with me about how mamaw is doing and when I spend time with my mamaw she always talks about how nice everyone is there. The staff are always going out of their way to make sure that I am happy with my mamaws care and that she is happy and comfortable. I am very happy with the decision we made to put my mamaw at symohony at valley farms.
September 2020

I have been working here since October of 2014 , the most rewarding job I have ever had. I joined the team as a housekeeper just to get my foot in the door, proudly did my job till something else became available. November 2016 I was blessed to have become the Activities Director. So rewarding to be apart of what I feel is their journey home. Here at Symphony At Valley Farms we are one big family . Even our residents families all are so supportive and caring of us all. Just a big shout out to the whole team, who are awesome !!!!
September 2020
My mother has been a resident at Symphony since December of 2017. I cannot say enough about the wonderful family at Symphony. I know my Mom is safe and very well cared for. EVERYONE there is pleasant and caring, but some of the people who have truly touched my heart are Teresa, Lisa (activities), Lisa (front desk), Cathy, Regina, Teri, Dee and Rozz. I also recently had the pleasure to meet Cindy (new to the family as Director). She was so sweet and easy to talk to. I must, however, give an extra special shout out to Connie. She is truly one of the kindest people I have ever met. She is always bright and bubbly. She certainly helped ease my heart and soul while coming to grips with the reality of having to transition Mom into assisted living.
