We recently moved my Father into Preston Green. It has been a wonderful experience. The facility is absolutely amazing, the staff are all super accommodating, the residents friendly. Dad also really loves his room and the food. This has been a great experience thus far.

Preston Green is a marvelous place for our mother! The staff treat her as if she one of theirs! She is happy and active. The staff is extremely helpful and caring. Folks, this place is amazing. Not only is it world-class, but it is affordable. Bobbi Kelley gave me a full tour and I could not believe what I was seeing. It seems like a resort. I met the chef and I could really get excited about the food options. They have all the short term and long term care services I need for my aging mother. Not only do they have the facility, they also have the programs - lots of programs to keep mom busy and fulfilled. Plus, they have a movie theatre and that's just the beginning. They really care about their patients. In the last month, I have toured six sites. By far, Preston Greens, outshines any facility in the Lexington area.

Preston Greens is spacious, clean, rooms very nice! My mother moved into the Memory Care side the day it opened in October of 2020. One of my concerns I noticed, was the Memory Care side does not go on field trips as does the Assisted Living side, they are not "out and about." I had hoped they would go out, field trips to get their senses going. Fresh air, scenery, the pure joy of going somewhere. Memory Care also without an activity director for the longest time, they do have a full-time activities director now I believe. Wasn't much to do for a while. Another concern was the Memory Care side has been through three directors in under one year. It's very hard for a director to get to know residents and vice-versa when there is so much change. It's hard, (as with most places) to keep aides also, so short handed at times. Mom had a stroke about 10 months after moving into Preston Greens. She was in hospital 5 days, then rehabilitation for 3 weeks. We were told she was back to a one person assist, but after a couple days, Preston Green said she could no longer stay, sometimes would take two people to assist her. So, had to go on the hunt for a nursing home. Upon leaving, she had some back rent due her, but I was told by another new director on the Assisted Living side, she had to give a 30-day notice. We were wondering, how can one give a 30 day notice for a stroke? After several phone calls, still did not get an answer. Had to call California to the new company that just bought Preston Greens. I left multiple messages both voicemail and emails with the regional vice president of operations, Mr.Kendall Jamison, and no response! He too, wouldn't respond. I finally called someone else out in California, the lady was a very kind, but told me, she too, no longer worked for this company, but gave me the name of a gentleman who could probably help me. And he did! He got right on it and took care of everything immediately after hearing what all I had been through, others not assisting us, I was impressed with him. He also called me back a day or so later making sure everything was fine. But, it sure is hard to get answers. It's hard for families when things are constantly changing, employees are constantly being replaced or leaving, or changing hands, or family member has to be moved. Something to think about. Just keep in mind that you do have to give a 30-day notice, but it's hard to give a 30 day notice for a heart attack, stroke, an emergency, and would have to leave. There should be allowances for such emergencies. Residents families have mentioned when talking, there is only two handicap parking spots out front, and when you consider some visiting need handicap parking, none available, as two out front, for the two residents living there. Some visiting would need handicapped or need to be parked closer, as they are in their 50s and 60s, need handicap spaces also. (Transplants, cancer treatments, etc) It makes it very hard, if bringing in clean laundry, groceries, or anything to take to their loved ones, cannot park close because employees take parking spaces out front and close. Weekends better, not many work weekends. Most companies, have a designated parking area for employees on side of building or back, and leave the front to visitors, customers or family. Personally know three families that decided not to move to Preston Greens, would definitely need handicap spots to visit, there are none. 2 went to Sayre. A gentleman told me, "ones working at Preston Green's are younger, in their 20s, 30s, and 40s and can walk, he could not, needed a wheelchair to get out of his car." There are no handicap "visitor" parking spaces in front, (or close), it's hard to carry items in, having to park clear at end of the building. Cannot park outside main front door, has to be cleared for emergency vehicles if needed. Preston Green should look into designating an employee parking area leaving the majority front for visitors and family. It's the little things that mean most to families.

Preston Greens provides me with a rich life and the individual care I need at this point in my life. I enjoy the variety of daily social activities and group outings. The community areas (including the dining room, bistro, lounge, theater and library) are comfortable and allow residents to relax and enjoy different interests. I have never seen a staff so committed to ensuring residents live fulfilling lives. Preston Greens has become my second family

My dad was one of the first people to sign up for this beautiful and newly opened facility…he knew quality ! He was very happy here for the last year of his life…. and I was happy that he was happy!! We can not speak more highly of how everyone has treated us like family during his entire stay…..even during his death all of the employees were so gracious, kind & respectful. I would not second guess my decision to have my father in the highest care that he could get and Preston Greens delivered! If you’re looking for a place for your loved ones I would highly recommend Preston Greens ! It’s a blue ribbon senior care team ❣️

I have worked in long term care for 27 years. I can honestly say without a doubt that Preston Greens gives the best care. Our residents are happy and have many activities to keep them busy. My uncle was in the memory care unit and I can't say enough about the loving care he received. All staff from administration to housekeeping play a pivotal role in maintaining the health and happiness of our residents. I would recommend Preston Greens to anyone who is looking for a beautiful facility and staff that goes above and beyond for their residents.

The staff I have met during open house parties have been wonderful, particularly Kortney, Kim and Tiffany. Thank you for always being pleasant and professional. I couldnt imagine a better atmosphere for my parents to spend thier retirement. Preston Greens is lovely.
