McDowell Place is Amazing!! As soon as you walk into the building, you feel the love!! The staff is so caring and willing to help!! The dining room is beautiful and serves delicious food!! There are so many activities, a beauty shop, library, etc.. It is also, very, very clean!! I would highly recommend McDowell Place!!

Caring
McDowell Place of Danville was very nice, but my aunt-in-law wasn't qualified because they didn't have enough to take care of her. The rooms were a little larger. They have activities. There were a lot of sitting areas around as well as outside sitting areas. The food was very good. The dining area was much larger. It is much bigger and it would hold more people. Also the staff members were very nice and caring. They also provide transportation if residents need to go to a beauty shop or to their doctors' appointments.

From the moment I stepped into the building to tour, I knew this was the place for Mom. The staff and residents were very welcoming. The whole place was abuzz with activity and residents in the halls and living rooms visiting one another. Mom has been there for 2 months now and loves it! It's a real community where neighbors look out for one another. The staff have been great to work with, too.

I think McDowell place is a great place to call home! For instance you dont have to cook nor clean.....just come to the dining room and eat! They also have fun outings they go on every week with our Activity director(Gina)...shes awesome! McDowell Place has activities seven days a week which includes; prayer service, excercise, corn hole, left right center, brainiac aerobics and even bingo, etc. Also they have church service every Sunday afternoon for the ones who cant get out, which I think is great!! Most of all they have their own apartment that includes their privacy and when they need something were always there! I couldnt ask for a better place to work and share the love I have for my residents! We are truly blessed to have the best Boss anyone could ask for and thats Susan Matherly!!

The environment at McDowell place of Danville is very friendly and caring. The staff has the greatest personality and smiles. There is so many different activities that u can do inside and out of the building. Come check us out and be a part of our family

I love Mcdowell place, it lets people have there independance there privacy, and asstiance if needed. it is a beautiful place. There is always something to do. You dont have time to get bored, they take some awesome trips. great place to work great place to live
