I think it is high time for an up to date review! I have lived here for 3 months now as of April 2024, and I couldn't be more happy! Absolutely everyone I have met has been very warm, friendly and welcoming. The residents play Cards, Dominos and Bingo. Everyone is welcome to participate. Bingo offers small prizes and is very popular. There is a music director who organizes sing-alongs and plays the piano. There is a complete kitchen for everyone to use with a large refrigerator. There are laundry facilities on site at a reasonable cost. I found everyone friendly, yet not TOO friendly, if you know what I mean. They mind their own business, not yours! This is a secure facility, meaning all of the doors are locked and require a pass key or someone who lives here to let you in. I feel very safe here, and in today's world, that's important! The rent cost is very reasonable with only electricity as an added housing cost. The maintenance crew is very pleasant and responsive to requests. This building is extremely soundproof! I never hear any noise from the other residents either through the door or walls. The one or two bedroom apartments feature very large energy efficient sliding windows that remove for easy cleaning. I moved in here in February, and I never felt a draft from these windows. I think large windows that let in a lot of light are important to people who spend most of their time in their room. The outside features two courtyards that have a lot of flowers and trees. There are a couple of residents who work hard to provide beautiful flowers for all to enjoy! One Gardner in particular is a licensed Master Gardner who is very knowledgeable about all things Green. Pets are allowed,(with restrictions of course) and quite a few residents have dogs and cats. All in all you would be hard-pressed to find a better facility for either yourself or your loved one. This is an easy 5-Star review!
