As a hospice provider I visit many facilities in KS and Sharon Lane is one of the best! The staff are very attentive to their residents. The facility always has fun activities going on that also invite family participation.

Sharon lane is an awesome place to work and put a family member it is clean and the people that work here care for all the residents as there own my mother in law who works for Sharon lane is one of there best employees she is loving to all the residents and has been working for sharan lane for many years it is a family own company the owner truly cares about the residents and how the facility is run and will accommodate the needs of the resident in any way she can

Our mother spent approximately 6 months at this facility. They seemed to use medicating as a way to control residents and started giving our mother something to make her sleep about 20 hours a day without telling anyone in the family. Many of the aides that worked there were very wonderful and caring and took good care of our mother. The activities group was also very good and proactive. The kitchen staff was also great and very caring with the residents; they also provided very good meals. However, some of the staff were rude and not helpful at all, especially those in management. One of the therapists hung up on us when we called to get a status on our mother. We did not find the nursing staff management to be communicative or particularly knowledgeable.

My family has nothing but good things to say about the care and admin at Sharon Lane! Our experiences go way back when a friend's grandmother resided there before the major renovations. More recently, we were charged with the care of an elderly neighbor with no family. He was a difficult personality and hard to please. The staff at SL couldn't have been more kind & patient. Because he was a challenge, he ended up at several, very different facilities. The care elsewhere did not compare to SL. They are family owned & operated and offered us much more personalized care than some of your giant, shiny, elaborate, corporate establishments. This is a very difficult field to work in, can be a sad position for the resident, and a stressful decision for family & friends. Gentle, kind, competent caregivers make the process so much better. (Be sure when you look through reviews to notice most of the one stars come from disgruntled former employees).

My mother was transferred after her home had closed several years ago. The care at Sharon Lane is the highest quality you could ask for with your loved ones. They do the little things that others do t so. It may seem unimportant to us but makes the world of a difference to the residence Not that I'm in a rush, but when the time comes I hope Sharon Lane is still around for me. It's a family ran business and it shows. They all care with a big heart. You will not be sorry placing loved ones in there care.God bless to them all

Our Mother absolutely loves it here and so do we. They participate in PEAK, so she gets to choose her Shower/bathtimes and days, meal times and her menu if she doesn't like the daily choice she can order off the side menu, when she wakes up and when she goes to bed. The staff takes great care of their residents and they take the time to make sure they have lots of activities for everyone and try to make everyone feel included. Prior to the Covid outbreak they had weekly and monthly activities with the residents and families. And since Covid they have still tried to do things to keep the families included with emails, phone calls, text notifications and they even built a covered booth with walkie talkies for family members to visit with residents to stay out of the sun. They truly take the time and put in the energy to show that they care and love their jobs and the people that they work with and it shows. So far no one has gotten sick there because they take so many extra precautions and they keep us updated constantly. We love and appreciate the staff at Sharon Lane!

Words cannot express my appreciation for the staff at Sharon Lane Health Services. The facility is very clean and so are the residents. The staff pays close attention to detail, as well as my mother. I can sleep well at night knowing my mother is in great hands. I visit my mother often and I am always greeted with a BIG smile from all of the staff members. Whenever I had a concern it was addressed immediately and with a follow up call to let me know it has been addressed and taken care of. I would like to recognize the associates that make everyone feel at home when they enter the facility. Teresa, Cecelia, Christie, Kerry, Rhonda, Ty, Debbie, Denise, Jemima, Jennifer, and Heather. I cannot forget the housekeeper Veronica. Veronica takes the time to roll my mother's hair everytime my mother ask. That is what you call love for your job and the residents.
