My mom spent a month at Brookdale Rosehill for a month to recover from a stroke. She loved the therapy team (Billie, Mallory, Dawn), attending physician (Dr. Coffey), and a few very compassionate aides (Corinne and Aaliyah). She also thought the food was good, for a facility. The housekeeping was inconsistent, and some of agency staff were also not as stellar, especially overnight. Staff regularly called family if there were any concerns, and to support discharge planning. We had very little time to choose a rehabilitation facility to go from the hospital. I recommend looking at the Medicare Care Compare tool to look at the CMS rating system and inspections. We selected this facility because it was rated as a 5 star facility, and there are very few in the KC metro area. Staffing is especially challenging for nursing facilities, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the direct service staff, overall.

This place is one of the very best you could ask for, everyone is very caring, helpful and professional. Dr.Coffey is the best you could ask for along either all her assistant. The nurses were the best, Tom, Paul and Moraco plus all the aids.

This is an excellent beautiful physical rehab center. I was there to visit someone. They have a very large therapy room.

Reasonably decent facility. Very good therapy. Food is good. Facility is clean, smells good and is well-maintained. Front desk reception is pleasant. Case Manager and Nurse Manager did respond to concerns that were relayed. Communication is provided when requested. Advocate for your family member and be proactive when in any facility. Do not assume anything. There were some very good staff. Some are probably stretched thin during the pandemic. We thank those who do care about their work.

My brother was in Brookdale Rosehill for 2 months as part of his rehabilitation after a stroke and he liked it very much.All nurses, Mabel,Lindsay and Sherry were the absolute BEST and Therapists Elisha,Alicia,and Marcy and aids were all wonderful. Food was very good which was important to him as he had been on pureed food prior to coming there and was trying to regain some lost weight . They worked with him and helped him regain alot of his strength and mobility. Case Manager Jill was great and coordinated his care and departure and everything was always handled with my brothers best interest at heart. Great place ! Highly recommend this facility!

My care was for the most part good. I was sent home with a prescription that I had quit taking 2 weeks earlier. I was overbilled on meds at first and no one told me I didnt have to take the meds home. Omnicare, their billing service, got with them and the bill dropped to $20.04 which I paid and was told that would clear my account. Then I got another bill???? I have a call into them now but think their business department leaves a lot to be desired.

Their Nursing staff is wonderful they are sweet, kind and very caring. The therapist do a phenomenal job and the food her is amazing. I have been working for Brookdale Rosehill since 2009 and I have absolutely loved working here. I have no plans on leaving this facility and hope to retire from here. The management team is absolutely amazing!!! The staff are amazing!!! My heart is truly touched as I come in to work today and stand in awe at the absolutely outstanding team we have here at Brookdale Rosehill. For privacy, i'm not going to share names or any specific details but I will explain the best I can........ long story short I admitted someone here that had a very serious and new disease causing him to be paralyzed. He wasn't even able to lift his arms. He was told by the doctors he wouldn't have a full recovery and that he more than likely would never reach his prior level of function well enough to go back home.... Now, after about 3 months of rehab, he is WALKING out of our building and going back to his home. How freakin cool is that?!?! Our therapy team and nursing staff really are top notch and I feel so blessed to be a part of an amazing team! Changing lives one at a time! It's so comforting to me as an Admissions Coordinator knowing that I can admit people here with full confidence that they will be taken care of, and taken care of well. Kudos! 🙂

I have been on the Activities staff at Brookdale Rosehill for nearly two and a half years and have recommended it to others as a good place to work. As for residents' views - today at Target, both the checker who rang up my items and the shopper in front of me in line were resident family members whose loved ones had been at BR during the time I have been there - small world!!! And they both seemed very happy and satisfied.

Brookdale has been a home to my father-in-law, mother-in-law, and my mother. There is no question in my mind that the staff, the food and the administration are all among the best of any senior/assisted living/nursing home I'm aware of. It's an outstanding facility and the company owners are excellent.
