Reviews Salina Presbyterian Manor
July 2024
Wonderful staff and community. My parents started in 1998 with a beautiful condo. The Manor has done everything they promised in taking care of them and creating a beautiful lifestyle. After 25 years of enjoying life together in the condo, the Manor staff helped my dad as he moved into Healthcare in his last months. They made his life comfortable and gave him excellent care. They made my mom's transition so easy and smooth. She is thriving in the apartments, surrounded with friends and staff who love and care for her. They have wonderful activities. Jenni Jones and Melissa Randolph are special people . I highly recommend!

The entire staff did an amazing job taking care of my mother-in-law. She was so happy at the manor!
December 2023
Salina Presbyterian Manor was a God send for us. My mother needed to have physical therapy and then it became long term care for her. The nurses, cna's and staff were amazing. They cared for my mother as if she were their mother and loved on her taking care of her with respect and grace. My mother was starting early stages of dementia and the staff was so kind and caring. They had patience with her and were so loving and kind to her when she was thinking she was was a little girl. If she needed anything they were there to take care of her and give her the upmost care that she needed. Even on their days off they would come and see her. She loved them and spoke so lovingly about them. To this day, even though she is no longer with us the staff when I see them out in public they talk to me and ask how I am doing. They would speak about my mother and we would laugh and cry together. They even came to her funeral. They are a family and treat everyone like family. Salina Presbyterian Manor is a loving, caring place that I would encourage anyone to check out. They are the best!! Nathalea Stephenson

Salina Presbyterian Manor has been such a blessing to my mom. There is no other community I wanted my mom to be in as she was showing signs of dementia and I knew she would decline over the years and would have to eventually have to move for more care. Mom has been in the Manor for 2.5 years and has always been treated with the upmost respect and dignity. She started her journey in the Assisted Living unit where the staff were excellent and would always show their love for her. She was always involved in many activities and loved exercise class. One of her favorites was the buggy rides around the pond. When it was time for her to move to the healthcare side, it was so incredibly easy as the staff moved all of her furniture and all I had to do was just be with her to help with the transition. She has flourished! She was welcomed with lots of love and very attentive staff, they have been nothing short of amazing!! She recently celebrated her 80th birthday and I was overwhelmed by the love and hugs she received. Sadie James asked the staff and Salina Technical school students to line up in the hallway and they sang Happy Birthday to her while she walked back to her room after lunch. I have witnessed many times while being with my mom in the dining room, the opportunity for residents to choose what they would like to eat and/or if they want something different, the staff is quick and prompt to have something made for them. I have been so overwhelmed by the kindness and love they show to everyone. When I take mom out for church, upon return she sees her home and repeats, oh I just LOVE my home!! I can not explain the peace it brings to my family and I that she is so happy and well cared for. THANK YOU, TEAM! I am SO GRATEFUL for you!

Our loved one was at Salina Presbyterian Manor. There was not enough staff to meet the needs of the patients, the food was bad, and staff were not always pleasant or responsive. We recommend looking elsewhere.

The people are really nice and they treat you like family
December 2022
My parents have been residents for several years, first in the townhouse & now in an apartment. On more than one occasion their calls for help were not answered. My dad's batteries were dead in his personal alarm & he laid on the driveway until some neighbors came out & called for assistance. They are now in the apartments, my dad had an episode on New Year's Eve & my mom pulled the alarm . There was no response so my mom had to go get someone, the nurse told her they had other patients to take care of. The whole point of living there was that there would be medical attention if needed 24/7. To say I'm disappointed in this establishment is an understatement

My grandparents have lived at the Manor for about 6 years- IL, AL, memory care, and finally LTC. I had the privilege of being with my granddad a few days as he was on hospice and end of life. I was so impressed with the compassionate care that all of the staff have provided to both of my grandparents during their time at the Manor. Every single CNA, CMA, and nurse who came into his room was so caring and asked myself and the other family members if they could do anything for granddad, us or bring us anything. I have worked in a SNF for 17 years as a PT/DOR and I understand how stressful it is, especially during a pandemic, however when they came into the room, they sure didn’t show it. It gives me such peace knowing my grandmother is being well cared for. Keep up the good work!

Recently Salina Presbyterian Manor was voted a Reader's Favorite winner in a contest sponsored by our local newspaper. I totally agree with the rating - our experiences with the Manor and its employees have always been very positive. The care is outstanding and compassionate, and it's obvious the staff truly cares about the residents and their families. My husband and I have a lot of experience with the Manor; both sets of our parents have been living there for a number of years. We wouldn't trust anyone else with their care!
