I was at the hager house for almost 2 weeks. The nurses all treated me well, check on me, the therpy staff was a pleasure to work with and really cared on getting me taken care of with rehabing my knee.

I’m giving 5 stars for Clara C. I’m sure there are other wonderful five-star things about this place, but her spirit really shined through. She was very kind and caring and considerate. You can tell she really wants what is best for the residents. It’s nice to know I can leave my family member here, and know they are getting the best care possible.

I just recently had a months stay at Hoeger House and I was treated like a queen! I can honestly say the staff were all kind and loving to me and my situation. They answered my light in a timely manner they checked in on me regularly and they made me feel truly welcomed! Its tough being away from home and your own things but I was made to feel at home! The only thing I was not to keen about was the meals. But that's something that always can be worked on. A shout out to Kay kerrie and Ms Karen and Sam! For being so real with me it felt good! If I didn't mention you forgive me im not as young as I use to be so my memory fails at times! Oh and Riley the only male nurse I had he made me feel comfortable. And that's important since he is a man. But PT/OT awesome Jodie and Amanda Ms Alice and Morgan you ladies are amazing! Because its not fun trying to get some folks to do therapy! I had a few cranky days in there but you ladies handled me with care and respect!! Ok so if you haven't got it yet..... I recommend Hoeger House any day!! Thank all of you hard working individuals! My husband was in Hoeger House in Olathe, Ks for many weeks. He really liked the food which was half the battle. The staff were always nice to him even the maintenance man, Cody. His care was always great. The home was always very clean. They do need an update which is happening right now. My mother was also in the home just before she died and we were very satisfied with her care and that is why I picked Hoeger House for my husbands medical needs. They get 5 stars from us!

Call button response very slow to respond, one night I was freezing and pushed my button 4 times to get another warm blanket and the nurse [name removed] came in screaming at me saying she had been in there 7 times and wanted to know what the hell else she could do for me, it was shift change and day shift checked my vitals and my temperature was 107° and when ambulance showed up it was 104° and took me to KU Hospital and I had double pneumonia and they kept me for 2 weeks to recover then I came back to Hoeger house to finish my rehab, I feel night shift nurse [name removed] neglected me by not taking my vitals and she would have seen I was running a very high temperature

I don't know if they are understaffed, but they are extremely slow to answer call buttons. I have waited over 45 minutes at times. I would not recommend this facility.

My 68 year old husband was in rehab at Hoeger House. We both found the staff very caring and willing to do whatever needed to be done for him. From social worker, person who checked us in, nursing care, etc., we felt cared for. There were occasional times he had to wait for some care aspects, but we always felt looked after and knew sometimes there isn't enough staff when lots of things occur at the same time. We wouln't hesitate to go back. We have even had follow-up by social worker to help us find home health care... They are always accessible to us

It took me a while to write this review. Thank you so much everyone for taking such good care of me during. this difficult time in my life. My nurses were amazing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. TJ and Melinda, Paul and Adrianna, Dana and Jordan and the physical therapy, Occupational Therapist Team, the two ladies with the same named nurses. I am so grateful to the Social work Director for helping me! Sasha recommends Hoeger House. Thanks for the laughter and Stellar Care! I wish I could say I completely enjoyed my stay there. But I was there with a broken leg and that is just an experience that is not enjoyable. I will say that they did make it as enjoyable as it could possibly be. I felt completely cared for and treated like a king. Breakfast lunch and dinner in bed if I needed it. Even had help getting showers and such. Physical and occupational therapy was every day helping me to get out of there as soon as possible. Leaving felt like I was leaving a newfound family.

Thus is a very upscale rehab facility where I had the pleasure of staying after total hip replacement surgery. I was there two weeks, going thru Occupational and Physical Therapy. Everyone was very professional, thorough and compassionate which made my stay bearable even through the pain (FYI: Physical Therapy is not without pain, as musles, joints and tendons are carefully, methodically brought back to use after accidents or surgery render them immobile and/or useless. Pain is a given, BUT, must be worked through for the sake of your complete health. The pain is manageable with medication and the therapy helps make your recovery possible sooner than you thought possible.) I spent 2 weeks there and would highly recommend Hoeger House to anyone needing rehab. It is associated with Olathe Medical Center.
