I would not recommend Asbury Park Assisted living for your loved one. They have just lost several residents. Big problems going on there. The nursing administration was deceitful and dishonest and we also moved our loved one. They tried to use our loved one like a pawn and move him to the memory care unit just to try to keep it open. We heard nothing but excuses and lies for their incompetence. It got to the point where our loved one started missing meals because of the nasty environment from the administration not the staff and we had to get him out. I would not suggest this facility. I would suggest finding a facility that treats their residents with dignity and respect. Asbury Park is not the caring community that they claim to be.

Knowing what I do now, I would have not placed my father in Asbury Park. The negligence landed him the ER, the deceitful nursing staff resulted in a skyrocket price increase. In the end we moved him because they could not be trusted.

We have lived here in our house for 20 years! we love our house and Asbury Park. Right now we are getting a new roof. Our house is being updated with some painting of trim, window sills, etc. We have wonderful neighbors both here at AP and in the neighborhood.

This was my favorite of all my jobs. I was a CNA/CMA and am now a nurse and am hoping to be hired back here soon. The greenhomes are excellent. Homecooked meals, clean, more 1 on 1 attention for residents, and the CNA's are good about going out of their way to make them feel like they belong. Great place!

Asbury Park did a superlative job in hosting the Advent Luncheon on Friday, December 4, for the United Methodist retirees from the Hutchinson District and Wichita Area! We met in the recently refurbished chapel/community room. The meal was great. The singing was inspirational. The staff at Asbury Park was outstanding in every regard!
