Brookdale Junction City was a wonderful and beautiful place. It was very well-kept. The rooms were very nice and the staff was wonderful and pleasant. The residents seemed very happy. The larger room has a sitting area, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, so it's a little suite, and it's very nice and large. They do a lot of work with the residents' cognitive, so they have brain games to keep them sharp. They have a lot of amenities, such as a nice outside area for sitting and reading, and a library. I wouldn't mind going there myself. The people who let me in and met me at the door, and the people working with the patients were all just wonderful smiles. They weren't mean, or nasty. They were pleasant. There's a library, dining room and kitchen. The halls just kind of goes around a large circle. The little outdoor area is in the center opened to fresh air. The place is clean. You couldn't ask for a nicer place.

I visit a friend who moved into Brookdale last year. Their staff and management are second to none. The facility is very highly maintained as well as the food prepared. I highly recommend this facility. The staff is very concerned and passionate about their residents.

Dad has been at Brookdale Junction City for about two months now. He's happy there - comfortable, well cared for, enjoys the staff, has friends among the residents, lots of activities, and he loves the food:) I am happy and impressed with the quality of life and the genuine care and concern the staff has for the residents. Everyone worked together to help Dad transition smoothly, which was a bit of a challenge with his diabetes, and I appreciate that. Brookdale truly is a home!

The staff is so nice and easy to work with; I have never had a problem with any of them. Mom loves everything about Brookdale. They provide plenty of activities to keep them busy and go on outings. We couldn't of picked a better place for Mom!

Brookdale Senior Living was a fantastic alternative to nursing homes. My father had his independence and dignity until the very end. They have so many outings to keep the seniors involved in the community. The care attendants clean rooms so the Seniors don't have to. I just recently started working for Brookdale in junction city about 2 months ago as one of the cooks. I love working there. All the residents are great I love each one of them. The associates are great and surely made me feel like apart of the family. I have never loved a job and the people as much as I love working at Brookdale.

I have been working in the community as a CNA for about 9months now. I must say, without a doubt, that Brookdale is the best place I have ever worked! I love all of my coworkers and Management is great. The ED and HWD always have their doors open and are willing to help whenever we need it. Not only is the staff great at Brookdale, but so is everything else. All the food is homemade and it is wonderful. The community is very clean and something that we all take pride in. Overall, Brookdale is a very lovely place and it is very family orientated.

Mom has been at Brookdale about 6 months now, and we have been impressed from day one. The staff is awesome, they keep the residents active, and facility is clean. She loves having her own space with her own belongings to make this truly her home. Mom is much better since moving to Brookdale, and every picture we see - she has a big smile on her face!

My grandmother has been at Brookdale Junction City. The experience is good. They don't have as many people, which is comfortable, because then they can pay more attention to each of the individuals there, especially my grandmother for being a new resident. They welcomed her with open arms. They're taking care of her medications. There is a lot of one-on-one, which I know you can't get from a large community. They have a full calendar of scheduled activities. They have bingo, trips, they teach you how to use your iPad, there are physical type activities, and book club. Once a week they do a lot of deep cleaning, they do daily cleaning, plus they take care of my grandmother's cat. My grandmother's window faces out to the courtyard, so she has a lot of natural light. The place looks more like a home versus a care facility. The rooms could be a bit bigger, but I understand why they are that size due to the fact that most seniors don't need a lot of actual things. However, they need to improve the way they set up their billing cycle.

Brookdale Junction City was nice, but there were so many things they could not do for my mom-in-law. The staff was friendly and gave us the whole tour. They had a nice living room, a nice kitchen, a spa, and a salon. The rooms were very nice, too. The location was great and easy to get to.
