Our mom received loving care and assistance from the entire staff during the 3 months she was at Sunflower Z Homes. It felt like home as mom was home during her last 3 months while on this earth until she passed. The staff was the best and the care they give not only to mom, but the other residents was so genuine and loving. They are truly amazing people from the owner Dawnan, head nurse, Jenny and the entire staff. I highly recommend Sunflower Z Homes to any family that is making the difficult choice to send a family member that is in need of more assistance, to a home with 24/7 care. Mom was at home and at peace at Sunflower Z Homes and that is all a family can ask for. God Bless you all!!

My Father, who had dementia, was a resident at a different area care home when he fell and broke his hip and collarbone. After a successful surgery on his hip, to my surprise and disappointment the care facility he was at refused to take him back because he was not independently mobile. After looking at three other facilities we chose to put Dad at Sunflower Homes. DawnAnn was extremely gracious and understanding. She welcomed my Dad with an open heart and open arms. Dad was treated with love and dignity by all the staff. Dad passed away within two weeks of admission to Sunflower homes, I believe he was waiting for a nice, welcoming , comfortable place to exit this life. During the dying process the staff kept our family updated at all times, they coordinated his hospice care, and even his spiritual care. They didn’t even complain when numerous grandkids showed up at the same time to see Dad. I am grateful for DawnAnn and the entire staff at Sunflower Z Homes.

Sunflower Z Home (formerly Marjorie’s Home)…. I cannot say enough positive comments about this wonderful place. The staff is amazing and the home cooked meals taste fabulous. They not only take excellent care of the residents, but they take care of their family members when needed. I strongly recommend taking the short trip to Garden Plain to visit this facility. Mom absolutely loved it there.

Sunflower Z, fka Marjorie's Home, provides excellent care to my dad. Dad is 87 with dementia and staff are so attentive and caring. The staff to resident ratio is excellent! The home is clean, modern and inviting. My dad was in a previous memory care unit that failed to provide some of his most basic needs. We had to mover him, so the search was on for a place that actually cared for their residents. We then found Sunflower Z by word of mouth and so Blessed we relocated him to this place. He is clean, well fed, groomed, and just overall very happy. We feel like he is being cared for by family, a family that truly cares for the person not just the resident. The owner, Dawnan and Jenny Lee and all the staff have exceeded our expectations. Thank you for providing a service that every elderly person should receive. God Bless the work you do!
