Manager is impatient and rude. I put my application in at Jan 1 2025. I was escaping a domestic situation and I called to get my application expedited. I had an appointment with Tanya. I had all my paperwork except my birth certificate. I told her I was involved with a domestic situation and I had to flee to safety and She proceed to lecture me about how it's important have all my paperwork. Even though I told her that I was in domestic situation the day before and I had a weapon pointed at me at the time so I was in a hurry to get my things out and seek refuge at my family's house. She didn't care and proceed the lecture me. She rolled her eyes and she used a very rude tone with me. This is not how you handle a situation when you're helping someone in the domestic violence. And I never signed the lease yet and all different people were bossing me around even though I didn't sign the lease. The residents are in your business snooping around your door. I was even told I couldn't go out to the smoking section while they're playing bingo by the residents there. They make up their own roles as they go along I've had several residents tell me what I can and can't do. Then while standing by the street at through a pop can in the street not on their property. The maintenance guy complained and told me to pick it up like I was a little kid. Mind you there's no trash receptacles by the entrances so it seems that the the maintenance guy doesn't like emptying trash. He made me pick it up even that was in the street. Then the manager said I couldn't stay there because it was against the rules (I was staying with my son who lives there)even though I had nowhere to go and I just escaped a violent situation at home. She told me I had to leave so I packed my suitcase and I left. This is not how you treat a victim of domestic violence and therefore I will not be living here

I have lived here 9 years. SINCE NEW OWNERS AND Monroe Group took over it has improved immensely. Total renovations to the whole place. A good place to live

It's Very Clean . They are doing repairs on the place Long time needing. Putting in Snack machine,s .Sitting Bench outside. And other things. It's Close to Store they have a Bus that Runs for the Elderly. And next to a Church. Great place to Live. As Long as the Riff Raff. Stay,s out. And they have Alot other things to do there.

I don,t usually review these type of facilities but I think this one deserves a good rating. If you are moving their or is having someone move their. It is a reduced rate rent property. It is in a safe neighborhood, Tiblow transit will take you any where in Bonner Springs ($2.00) parts of KCK ($5.00). The residents appear to associate with each other be it in the main lobby or outside. Hope this helps if you are looking for a cheap safe place to live.
