My daughter, 52, has been living in the memory care unit at Life Care Andover for almost 4 years. I am grateful to have found such a loving place for her. The nursing staff takes individual care of each resident with compassion and respect. The activity director extraordinaire has been life changing for us. Truly. Her deep understanding of mental illness along with her guitar playing and music creates a healing atmosphere where growth can still happen.

Our family has had a really positive experience so far with this care team. From the very beginning, they stood out as the first facility to ask thoughtful, clarifying questions while we were trying to find the right place for our dad. He wasn’t easy to place, so that level of care and attention meant a lot to us. Since then, the staff has been attentive, communicative, and genuinely caring, which has helped ease this transition for our whole family. We especially appreciated the quick attention to details that helped him feel comfortable right away. I work at a local hospital and have patients request this facility. Dawn is their liaison that comes to the hospital. Dawn always comes out to evaluate patient, meet with them and has excellent people skills. She always represents the faculty well and if she gets a referral for a patient to foster she’s always quick to respond. She is an excellent rep for the facility and coordinates well, very professional and always wants to make sure everyone is happy with the process of admission to LCCA.her professionally and wanting to do what’s right by the facility and potential residents goes above and beyond.

Aug 7,2025 My father moved here after falling and being in hospitable for 6 weeks. The staff are nice and friendly, they answer my questions or direct me to whom I should talk to. Chris the wound care nurse calls me weekly with updates, Amy one of his nurses talks with me every time I arrive. Oct 17 he was accept to Hospice care. Both teams are making sure he is comfortable.

My mother has been in skilled nursing and memory care for a year now. It is an older facility but what I can honestly say is that they communicate very well about my mother's care. I have not had a negative experience with any of the staff. Even the maintenance employees treat my mother with dignity. Our family tried to care for our mother for a while. The job that these people have to do is not only demanding but very tiring. There are times when visiting my mother you can tell some of the staff are probably very tired. Even so, I still see compassion and care. Thank you Blessings Lee

The admission staff, nurses, and kitchen staff have made my mothers transition to a Nursing facility 100% easier than I would have ever expected. Holly in admissions is very knowledgeable and will explain things from start to finish. The Nursing staff is so caring and compassionate. Will answer questions right away and will give words of encouragement. The kitchen has many things to pick from and the food is always hot and large portions. I would recommend Life Care to anyone who is looking for a wonderful place to call home for their love ones.

I recently had surgery for a large hernia, then had a second surgery because the first failed. After a rough time and almost dying twice, I finally left the hospital and went to the Life Care Center of Andover. And from the very first day, everyone was very nice and helpful to me...EVERYONE. This place has some of the nicest people, it's fantastic. And I think the food here is better than in the hospital too. For anyone in need of any type of recovery care, this is a great option. I was a client there a approximately a year ago. I forgot to say thank you, and how much I appreciated your help. First, I am a complainer. If I'm not complaining I'm not talking. When I first got there I could not even get in or out of bed on my own. I apologize for not remembering their names, but there were two ladies who worked in PT. They went above and beyond to help me. Like I said I am a complainer, so I gave these ladies a hard time, all the time. But they gave me excellent care. They knew when to give me encouragement and a pat on the back. Also when to give me my "crap" right back. These two ladies from PT, I can't give them enough credit. I came there unable to get in or out of bed on my own, and in three months had me walking with a walker. And now less than a year later, I am walking without the walker. Both of these ladies deserve the highest praise. For the work they did, and just for putting up with me and my bull... Also I have extremely high praise for the lady that did my foot care. I had major problems with three toes on my right foot. I was in the hospital before coming to your facility, and every doctor who looked at my foot said the toes, "had to be amputated". When the lady at your facility looked at my foot , I told her what the doctors had said. She just laughed and said, "no". By the time I left your facility, two of the toes had been healed. The big toe still needed work, but was over fifty percent healed, and has completely recovered just a couple of months later. These two PT ladies, and the lady who did my foot care, cannot receive the amount of praise they deserve. I apologize for not remembering there names. There was a lady who worked over nights, She would check on us, to make sure we were clean and dry. She was extremely professional, also one of the nicest and friendliest I have ever met. There was a few times I had an "accident" and I was very upset, and angry that I let that happen to myself. This amazing, wonderful lady got me cleaned up very quickly and efficiently. Also made feel better, not only about myself, but making her have to take care of me, after something that was my fault. I can't thank her enough for the help she gave me, also putting up with me.

Life Care of Andover: where shall I begin, first off when having the awful thoughts of transferring my mom from one facility to another approached, I’m so very happy to say that it was not awful at all! Holly was wonderful, she took complete control and made everything very easy for us. The staff have all been just as wonderful, everyone is kind, considerate and very patient and helpful. My mom loves the facility, she is always speaking of how beautiful it is. I have also seen improvement with her therapy. I’ve even recommended them to several potential residents. This facility is where my mother resides. I feel very blessed to have found this place for my mother. Her mental and health care she receives at Life Care Center at Andover in my opinion is the best care than she has ever received in comparison to what she has received in the past from other facilities. Fantastic facility!! I have been very impressed from the very first phone call. The day I went and toured the facility, staff was friendly and welcoming! The facility is clean and updated! Jennie, you did a fantastic job, I asked a million questions and you answered every one of them! Jennie was able to get our family member moved quickly and efficiently to Life Care Center of Andover. They also started pt on our friend within a week of arriving to the facility. The previous nursing home had let him lay in a bed for two years with basically no pt after his stroke I’m so thankful for LCCA, you are making a difference in people’s lives!!! ‘‘

Hi Folks my Dad, Ed * Pops * has been a resident of LCC of Andover since Sept 2013. We have met so many awesome folks here, both residents and staff, we have lost a few of each during this time. He has had Therapy with Rianna and her awesome team, as I have also. Their Activities are amazing, painting, parties, shopping, Bingo with Prizes. Have a new Director at LCC. First name is Simon, great gentleman, he takes the time to help in any situation you may have. The Business department staff are very friendly, kind and considerate of their residents and families. They strive to meet every need and concern to the best of their ability. RN's, LPN's, Aides, are some of the Funniest, Kindest, personable folks you will come to know. Everyone in this Facility, Staff, Nursing, Activities, Physical Therapy, Kitchen staff, Maintenance, are some of the Best.

My elderly grandmother came for a short stay after an illness. At first we thought it was going to be a good fit, but after one week I feel bad for the long term care residents. They are clearly understaffed, and im sure thats the root of many of the issues. although the staff i interacted with was kind, it can be a challenge to find someone on the floor. Grandma had some complaints about a staff memener, and management took the issue very serious. They say they have "spacious rooms", but my grandmother's room was smaller than most hospital rooms I've been in. There wasn't even space to put a chair, so we couldn't sit down in her room to visit. The court yard has potential but seemed ill cared for. Grandma said meals where frequently late, and often low quality. I think the staff is well meaning but short handed

My father has lived at Andover Court since June 2016 and we could not be happier with his/our experience. He is treated so great and all of the care workers treat my dad (and our entire family) like part of their family. When anything comes up that they are concerned with, I am notified. Dustie and her staff go above and beyond in helping with managing his health care, medicine and therapy. They have a lot of activities going on and although my dad does not attend many of them he is invited and welcome. Andover Court also has activities that invites families and the community into join the residents. I can sleep peacefully at night knowing that my dad is being taken care of and all of his needs are being met. Angela, Dustie and all of the staff at Andover Court are truly angels sent from heaven for the work they do with the residents.
