I visit with a resident at Sycamore Manor daily . Sycamore Manor is a wonderful place to call home. It has a lot to offer. It has a wonderful staff that cares for the residents as if the residents are their own family. The food is very good. The dining room is like going to a nice restaurant. There is shuffle board, air hockey, and a wonderful activities department, they play Bingo, as well as other games and go to a lot of places, including shopping, out for ice cream , or to Casey to see the largest pencil, rocking chair, mailbox,ect. Oh and the Nothing Bundt Cakes, just to name a few. The maintenance technician is wonderful and very helpful and kind, if you need anything fixed in your apartment he gets it fixed quickly, of course there are those times when a part needs to be ordered. It is a great place to be. The staff is caring and wonderful, always greeting you and checking on you. The food is outstanding with a wide variety of choices. If its not on the menu Chef Bennie will make something for you. His coconut cream pie is outstanding. The dining area is always decorated with linen tablecloths, napkins and a vase of flowers. The shared areas are cheerful and nicely decorated. They have a wonderful library area. They also have lots of activities for the residents. Just knowing your loved one is in a safe and cared for environment with wonderful food is a plus. Overall a wonderful place to be.

Was looking for an independent living facility for Mom. Looked at several around Terre Haute. Sycamore Manor seemed to be the most comfortable for her. Facility is clean and has a lot to offer. Food is good. Staff that we met were friendly.

I have a friend I take care of that has been there almost a year.If she has a problem with anything she will all me and all I have to do is call and they take care of it immediately. Lisa,Heather,Gary and Kathleen are doing a wonderful job with this virus going around.They are so great with containing this to make sure everyone is safe. You know it is just as hard on them as is is everyone there.It is a beautiful place to place your love one in.The food is very good thanks to the chef.Bennie does a great job cooking something everyone likes.

Our father was welcomed with big smiles and open arms by the staff and the residents. It has taken some time for him to start depending on others after flying solo for 25 years, but the wonderfully, warm staff have made the transition easier on him and us, his family. This place is absolutely beautiful! Luxury living with assistance your loved one needs. They offer a variety of activities and their activity director, Heather is the kindest soul! She will go out of her way to ensure your loved ones are involved and getting the interactions they need! Highly recommend!

I have toured Sycamore Manor with my Mother a few times. Jona has been so accommodating, knowledgeable and wonderful in taking the time to show us available apartments. As others have said the staff and residents are very friendly, welcoming, and caring! Everything is clean and fresh. We had the bonus of a meal and it was delicious! Many people came up to us and introduced themselves and we had fabulous discussions! Sycamore Manor has many activities to participate in if you wish. Their location is walkable to the Meadows Shopping Center, Deming Park, Wabash Avenue stores or if you need a ride they have that availability as well. I hope Sycamore Manor will still be around when it is my time to move to independent living!

Sycamore Manor has a very friendly atmosphere. I was able to see how spacious and clean each are of their facility was when taken on a tour. A quick snack from their kitchen was very delicious. With multiple different activities going on each day, it allows residents to have many things to choose from to do.
