Staff are fantastic. Everyone from nurses, therapy, food service to housekeeping are always friendly and positive. I am going home today with everything I hoped for, physically. My stay was only seven days but I am grateful that I am so much better after such a short stay. Special kudos to Jasper (4 legged staff) for bringing a smile to my face.

My sister, my Uncle, and I take turns coming there to make sure my mother's being taken care of like she's supposed to be. One thing I have a hard time with is hygiene care. Numerous times that I've gone there. My mother's nails are dirty underneath the nail.polish. Or she isn't showered. She has to wait a long time to go to the bathroom. As she needs assistance. And even if we call there at night to ask them to make sure to put her hearing aids on the charger, quite often, It's not done, so in the morning without her hearing aids, she can't hear. So who knows how long she's going before we get there. That must be horrible for her. I realize they're understaffed, but that's not my mom's fault. She shouldn't have to suffer for that. The last couple of times i've went there.Everybody's in a crabby mood. Patients are all sitting around the nurse's station, falling asleep as if they are sedated. I will say the there's a chef named steven who is a saint. He really cares about the patients and it's consistent.

We had my grandmother at wellbrooke for almost a year after transitioning from assisted living to long term care. It was a big transition for her but the team at wellbrooke made it so much easier.Unfortunately we recently lost her and the team there was beyond incredible. They felt like family and during her last few days staff was with her every minute when family was not there. They all told us stories of her and how she was so special to them. I can’t say enough about this facility and the staff there!

The leadership team at Wellbrooke is constantly dedicated to tailoring individualized care plans for each resident that comes through their door. They are authentic and advocate for everyone. The ability to listen often times gets missed in healthcare, but not with this team. They take the time to listen to their resident’s needs and concerns. This team is special. Thank you for all you do for our community.

Absolutely love the facility! I have yet to meet any of the staff that was not helpful! Love the Life Enrichment Staff. They have made my husband extremely happy here. On every single occasion they go get Bob to do everything that Wellbrooke has to offer!

My significant other and I took a tour today. First and foremost the family smelled wonderful and the cleanliness was on point. Marie Bastine gave us the tour and to say she is 100 percent suited for her job is an understatement. She is so personable and tender hearted, and it was quite obvious she LOVES her job I must commend the staff as well. There was not one staff member that did not acknowledge amd speak to us and with a smile I might add. The activity rooms are over the top and seems to provide many activities. I would strongly urge anyone needing a Home, for their loved one to consider Weelbrooke. Because it definately had that,"AT HOME" feeling!

Per resident: Lovely special family events! Luau celebration 9/7/23 was very colorful, lots of engaging activities, and staff very attentive and kind. Amazing live music and staff team working hard to include and engage all residents and visitors!

My mother had back surgery and she's at Wellbrook of South Bend and this place is awesome. I am so pleased with everything, from her care to the food to everyone that is helping her on her road to recovery. Everyone is so nice and helpful. She loves her room and all the people. I don't think I would want my mother anywhere else. The grounds are beautiful. She loves seeing the ducks come up to her window. I just want to thank everyone for your kindness and care you are giving my mom

WONDERFUL PLACE !!!! THE STAFF IS EXCELLENT, THE FOOD IS GREAT. BEAUTIFUL CLEAN AND LOOKS LIKE A HOTEL.GREAT ACTIVITIES AND THEY TREAT YOU LIKE FAMILY. The staff is great with their residents, they are caring and very friendly. They make the residents feel special. The food is good as well.

A family member was there about a year ago. Due to the lack of wound care among other things she got an infection. After bringing this to their attention by my sister who is a nurse they did nothing about it. My sister ended up calling for an ambulance and she was taken to the hospital where she stayed for several weeks. Would not recommend if your loved one is recovering from a surgery or has an open wound.

I was invited many months ago, to go to Wellbrooke, for a luncheon and a speaker. IU took a friend with me, and we had a great time- I met several women that were interested in the same things I was and my friend and I had a great afternoon. As soon as I am recovered from my recent surgery, I hope to revisit Wellbrooke and get some good information from their speakers and to meet again with the people I met so long ago- The staff is great, considerate and caring- I recommend Wellbrooke highly.
