I moved into the Villas Independent Living about four months ago. I have a 2 bedroom 2 bath with garage duplex. The complex is centrally located to everything you want or need. I cannot express how happy I am, it's perfect for me, everything is so well kept, everyone is so friendly. They have lots of activities if you choose, dining in the dining room or take out, for a very reasonable monthly fee, if you choose. It's a comfort to know that should I need it in the future I can just move across the street to assisted living. I'm so glad I made the decision to live at Windward Point! 5/27/26 Update!! I have lived at in the Windward Point Community for just over a year now and was just thinking today that I can confidently say moving here was the best decision I could have made. I visited several senior communities before committing to Windward Pointe and I honestly say I wouldn't change a thing. I am content and very happy here ’•

When we found Windward Pointe, I knew almost immediately it was the right fit. Danielle, Nurse Debbie, and the entire staff have been an incredible support through every step of this journey. They didn't just accept my aunt ” they welcomed her. They took the time to know her, reassure her, and make her feel safe in a place that was completely new to her. Today, she is thriving. My family and I recently had to find a new place for my parents to live. Coming from their own home, I wanted to make sure they were happy. From the first moment that I walked in, we were welcomed by all the staff. They were all super friendly. They genuinely look like they like their jobs And it looks like a fun place to work, which therefore makes the residents more relaxed to be there. They have made the transition very easily. My dad is so excited to be a resident there And I am sure my mom will be just as happy once she joins him!

Attended an event today at Rittenhouse and it was amazing. The staff was super friendly and engaging. They had music, food, raffle prizes, resource tables for community members, cool cars on display and officers taking medicines people wanted to get rid of. I hope they do it again next year!

This is an awesome facility! The staff is super friendly, and the residents are very well taken care of! They focus on every single resident and making sure they feel at home in a loving environment. I highly recommend Rittenhouse Portage to anyone in search of a nicely staffed, well maintained retirement community. I have gone to the facility several times to make sure it was the right fit for a very dear elderly friend of mine. I attended social events, talked to staff, drove around the facility and looked at housing. I must say, there was not a single time I felt un-welcomed. I was always greeted with a smile from the friendly staff and encouraged to ask questions at any time. The social events were also a great time, all of the vendors were so nice at BOTH events. Thank you so much Portage Rittenhouse!!! Keep up the good work!

A very good friend of mine moved his father into the Rittenhouse which was not easy, lets just say, he was not the favorite child anymore! Turns out, his father loves it so much that now he is to busy for his son. His father is enjoying life again and has made many friends.

The staff is so friendly and welcoming. Every time I come visit everyone knows me and shares encounters with my mother that I love to hear. They take great care of her and I know they care about her. My mother is on the Shine side and I enjoy all the activities they have for her and the other residents. She has a hard time participating but they make sure she is involved and I can't thank them enough for that!
