We moved my grandmother here about a month ago and so far its been wonderful. Jennifer gave us a great tour and all the information we needed and the rest of the staff has been very friendly towards my Grandmother and her dog. We are very happy we moved her to Tanglewood Trace!

Tanglewood Trace always makes residents feel at home. There is always activities going for residents. Staff all participants with activities, helping out residents. CNAS are very caring. Always trying to make everyone feel like family.

After Meridian took over quality of care and food went down and prices went up. There antiquated phone system makes it very difficult to get a hold of staff. It took 2 months and 15 phone calls even to corporate to get our rent balance back after we moved mom out. Many good CNAs quit. Only Nicki D., Joe and Sheri left. Mom seldom got bathing help she needed.

Unfortunately we had to place my aunt in a facility because she needed more care than we could provide. We have been happy with Tanglewood because the facilities were always clean, the staff was attentive, and best of all my aunt was happy there even with all of the new precautions.

I think it is best to start with understanding that Tanglewood Trace handles not only Independent Living but also Assisted Living and Personal Care. I think the reviews really should be based on that aspect in mind. I speak with regard to Assisted Living. My great aunt spent 4 years at Tanglewood and without reservation I always felt exceptionally comfortable with the standard of care at this facility. I really enjoyed whenever I would visit my great aunt that the nurses and practitioners at the center would greet me by my name and always would ask me personally if my great aunt was happy with the care as she was not always so critical. Understanding within reason - the nurses and practitioners always would be honest as to when and how they could react to a concern I had on behalf of my aunt - and if reasonable we would see the results shortly after. Often my great aunt just wanted to have more towels on a different day or evening or even - more simply - ask for additional services with my help when I visited that would always be acknowledged. I highly recommend Tanglewood - proximity to Notre Dame and the University Park Mall were awesome benefits.

Ive been to many nursing homes, and checked out many assisted living and memory places in my lifetime. Mom is doing much too good for memory care and just needs some assistance and a place to have activities to keep her busy and girlfriends to hang out with. She has been here 2 years and we both love the place. We know just about everyone, and everyone knows and cares for my mom here. I do like that the place is secure so if you do not know the passcode you cannot go out or in. During this Covid time all the staff do what they can to keep the residents motivated as best they can. Sure, its not perfect, but if I find anything that may bother or concern me, I always have direct contact to talk to anyone and they listen and educate me, or we resolve issues. Communication is the key. If you cannot take care of your loved ones yourself, then I do recommend Tanglewood.

My husbands favorite aunt was placed in this facility by her children, and I was very impressed with everything I saw when we visited. It was very clean and everyone was very polite and helpful. We were also glad to get updates from our family about how well the facility was handling the CoVID-19 pandemic. I know that my husbands cousins have been very happy and are not worried about their mothers health or well being while at Tanglewood, which says a lot with how crazy 2020 was. Overall, my husband and I are impressed with what we have experienced and heard, and we highly recommend this facility.

Extremely happy! My family member moved here earlier this year and we have nothing but great things to say about the care, communication and compassion Tanglewood has for their residents. We were a bit nervous about moving our family member here, we had experienced an unpleasant environment with another assisted living community. Needless to say, we are beyond grateful for the wonderful team at Tanglewood. They have great communication and are always willing to go the extra mile to check on their residents. Highly recommend!!! I know that there are a lot of places people can choose from, hope they would pick Tanglewood.

Im not a person who usually makes time to write reviews, but Im glad I came to this website to write a positive review about the DON at Tanglewood, because I see a review that is completely at odds with my experience. I am thrilled about the DON--she is one of the most caring nurses and competent managers Ive interacted with in the course of caring for my mother, who lived with me for nearly 8 years and whose care I am very concerned about. The DON has not only spent many hours talking with me about details of my mothers numerous health conditions and dietary needs, but has more importantly, taken action to assure that what we talked about was actually implemented. She is also, quite simply, one of the warmest, most conscientious people Ive ever met. Tanglewood administration, the residents and their family members are very fortunate to have this DON (Sharon), and Ive told her that directly because it was important to me that she know it. I would encourage anyone who is thinking about assisted living for their loved one come look at Tanglewood and talk to Sharon--shes the best!

TANGLEWOOD TRACE has been my home since October 2017. After living in my Mishawaka house for over sixty (60) years and loving it, I knew it was time to look at senior living facilities. I chose TANGELWOOD TRACE after visiting other similar facilities and have never regretted my decision. I am happiest when I am helping someone and have met many friends. Have you heard the story of this 83-year old lady who was always happy and smiling? Another resident asked her why? Here was her answer: I can be happy and smiling and have lots of friends or I can be irritable and cross and no one would be my friend. WHO do you want to be? I enjoy the food, the many activities, the friendly residents there is nothing I dont enjoy. I would recommend Tanglewood to anyone.

I am an employee here for 3 years. We have good staff and we do alot of things here for our residents. From individualized trips, to numerous types of activities in music, arts and crafts, and exercise. The food is great and myself and others often eat it for our lunch and dinner. The staff in our restaurant are excellent!! They really take care of them. I receive lots of support from my management staff - they are always there for me. i would recommend anyone to work here.

Love it when my Mom says she wants to go home. Tanglewood is home to her. When she made the move it was difficult at first but they were all there to make sure she was adjusting well. She love it there. The employees are all helpful and friendly and the facilities are beautiful. Thank you Tanglewood employees for all you do to make the residents happy
