Rittenhouse is a place that i would recommend for any family that is looking for assisted living care. Services are provided by kind and compassionate staff. I have had the pleasure of working with Tiffanie and Stephanie from Rittenhouse. They are professional and make sure that all their bases are covered. They make sure that all needs are met and look for creative ways to make it happen for their residents. The building always looks great and is very spacious. Staff are friendly and helpful. The team at Rittenhouse rocks!

Leaving her house of 60+ years was extremely difficult for our mom. However, everything about Rittenhouse made this transition happen more smoothly than I thought possible: her modern, perfect-sized apartment that is cozy and comfortable; the delicious and plentiful meals that she greatly enjoys; the fact that her beloved kitty can live there with her; and especially the staff, who are caring, attentive, compassionate, and kind. I have appreciated their prompt responses to my e-mails and phone calls, and the manner in which they keep family members informed (all the more so, in this time of pandemic). Our family is truly grateful for Rittenhouse and the wonderful staff who go above and beyond for the folks in their care.

My mom moved to Rittenhouse when she could no longer live alone. Its a lovely, homey facility with great food (she loves the meals!) and caring staff who go the extra mile for the residents. In addition to all this, she was able to take her cat with her when she moved. Rittenhouse has definitely earned the trust of her family and has given us peace of mind.

I cant say enough good things about Rittenhouse and their staff. They have handled the coronavirus as well as anybody could have, and when my mom died last Thursday (not of the virus but old age), they were so kind to us, just as they had always been to her. Kind and caring and genuine. My mother was very lucky to have lived there, as were we. She was happy there. Rittenhouse is exceptional. My sister, brother, and I are so grateful to them.

Every time I visited our Mom the place was clean and staff is always friendly. It has been rough on all families not being able to visit but just as sure it is stressfull for the staff thru this. But by the posts they still made time to have some fun with residents. I call it Rittenhouse Strong!

The family atmosphere makes Ritten House shine. The food is great they are always trying to incorporate residents family secret favorites into the menu giving it that home cooked feel. One of the best parts is you cant go far without seeing a smile, most of the time they are just around the corner weather it be from an awesome neighbor or Care member.

Full disclosure, I am the husband of the best Senior Lifestyle Counselors in the world, Stefanie Olson! She has been a part of the Rittenhouse Village at Michigan City family for almost 10 years, and in the assisted living community for 22 years!! She LOVES her seniors!! I can tell you that she believes in Rittenhouse with all her heart! The friendly dedicated staff goes out of their way to make senior living comfortable and fun! The meals are prepared fresh daily by an amazing Executive Chef! Yes, Ive had several meals prepared from there, and it was delicious! Different daily activities keep everyone entertained and on the move! One of the highlights of the year is their famous Harvest Ball. That event gets sold out every year and its an amazing time by all who attend!! This place is the REAL DEAL! If you are looking for a great place full of laughs, love and faith, for you or a loved one, look no further than Rittenhouse Village at Michigan City!!!

We think very highly of Rittenhouse and the wonderful staff they employ. Before her passing, my mother in law lived there for 5 years. She was very social with many friends and enjoyed the friendly staff as well as the many activities available for the seniors. My mother is now living there and has for several years. We are impressed with the dedication of the staff and how well they have taken care of my mother especially the last few months with COVOD. I feel that we have made an excellent choice with Rittenhouse.

Beautiful building with many caring staff members. Not only would I recomend it but I have 3 family members who live here and have been in all three areas of the property. The villas have the independent feel with plenty of inclusive activities, while the assisted living in the main building promotes independence but helps the transition of aging and helps keep dignity. The memory care which hold a dear spot in my heart has been adding new activities all the time changing with the needs of the dementia patients.

I have been with Atria Del Rey some 16 years. I am the Hairstylist and love my job. I get to make people pretty! My days are full of stories the residents share with me of their lives, their children, their travels. I treat each resident like family. I fall in love with them. I love their sense of humor and we have fun in the salon! You can tell by the laughter as you walk by! Although I am not an employee, I consider myself part of the staff and team. I often depend on the caregivers to bring or remind my clients of their appointments. I am grateful to them for doing this for both the resident and myself. The entire staff has one main goal and that is to give the best care possible to the Atria Del Rey residents. Working as a team is how this is established. I am also the In House Photographer.
