I am a current resident here at Rosewalk Village in Lafayette. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone needing short or long term care. I'd like to give a HUGE shout out to Stacy, the DON of the facility. She goes above and beyond to help. She is a very caring & compassionate person. She has helped me get through many issues that I have had going on. She takes the time to fix the issue at hand and doesn't quit until the issue is resolved. I appreciate her so very much and am so grateful to have met her. Thank you Stacy for all that you do and for being so helpful in my time of need.

Great staff. They really care about the members. The food is delicious. The management team is very helpful. My mom enjoys her time there and our family is very grateful for the care and safety provided.

I want to give an honest review. If you are going here for rehab, live on the first floor, can make your needs known/have intact cognition/can get around.... any or most of those things, this place is good. ED Nate is kind and I believe he strives for things to be right and the residents be cared for. There ARE some really good and caring CNAs and nurses there. However.... I had a grandparent there. She has dementia. She was admitted into memory care. One week later, she was moved upstairs. When I visited her I realized there are several people upstairs that should be in memory care, but they are upstairs. It just felt like needs weren't being met. I came to visit during a dinner and her dinner was placed in front of her, but clearly everything on the ticket wasn't on her plate. I waited thinking it would be brought, but it wasn't until I asked for missing items. She couldn't ask for them herself. That means person serving up the tray didn't check her ticket, and another person transporting the tray didn't look at the ticket. I don't understand that, because it's a very simple step?? I totally get being a CNA is a really really hard job and there are some great CNAs there. But many others don't seem to really care about the residents. When someone has dementia, they should be approached gently and greeted and be told what is going to happen instead of "we need to change you" and just start doing things. How about "Hi Janet. My name is Sarah. I think you need to get cleaned up, would it be ok if I helped you with that?" It of course takes more time but it also would prevent so many behaviors. Rosewalk is great for rehab to home therapy. It's good for general limited assistance residents. But if your spouse/grandparent has higher level needs I would recommend visit frequently to advocate for them.

I toured Rosewalk in 2013 and had the need to tour again recently. I was amazed at the changes that have been made. Consistency in leadership and nursing has had a positive impact on this community! I was able to visit with a family member who had a loved one who received care and they were very complimentary of the care received and rehabilitation program.

My grandmother was at RoseWalk in memory care, every time i went to visit her the staff was so kind and made me feel welcomed. I even got to enjoy doing activities with my grandma and other residents with her last moments. I would recommend this place to anyone in need.

Rosewalk has a great therapy department- great rapport between therapists and patients/residents. Every patient is seen as an individual and met where they are to improve their strength and function.

The nurses are wonderful! Stacy Davis and her team will make sure your family member is cared for at the highest level. If you want so send your loved ones somewhere where they are truly cared for, I recommend you send them here! I would recommend Rosewalk to anyone!

My mom stayed on memory care for 11 months. The staff was amazing with her care,the aides and nurses were so helpful always available to help right away. I would definitely recommend Rosewalk Village to anyone. They treat you like family when you visit definitely a five star facility.

The Nurses are awesome! But however some of the CNA’s aren’t that great! But overall I would recommend Rosewalk to anyone! Kitchen staff are great! Nate Anderson is really awesome! The residents are great too!

Great staff, great atmosphere, and all around great family environment. We always plan event that the residents will enjoy or that may help them open up a little if they are new or shy, we enjoy trying to help our residents keep a good social life while making sure they are safe, healthy, and provided the care, respect and happy life they deserve. A bonus for residents and their family is we have a room that can be reserved for family's to have birthday celebrations, 1 on 1 conversations, and just alone time to catch up and enjoy time together. So if your family lives here thank you for the honor to care for them and if your looking for help caring for family that you just aren't sure how to help them or just need the extra hand because of work or family consider American Senior Communities, we are happy to help any and all that need it and the families that need help getting them the best life they can, we understand the daily troubles for our residents and we can help with any and all situations they have and we will always take their concerns and their interests to heart we treat them as if they are our family.

I did post on here a while back and I am doing another one. Recently I had said some bad things about Rosewalk. This is what I have to say about them now. If you communicate with everyone on the staff and talk to them about your wants and concerns they will jump through hoops for you. They will have family care plan meeting once a week in person or over the phone. They will answer your question and make sure everyone is present at the meeting to voice your concerns. Trust me I know. They have went Beyond there job,would call me at all hours of the night when things would chang with my mom. I have even went in to do a hands on traning with the staff as well. We all learn from each other and work together as a team. Thank you Rosewalk for your help and giving are the help and support need to bring are mom home.

Amazing, caring, and hard working staff! My mom has lived here for over three years now, and I can tell the staff really cares about it's residents. They are all great at handling my mother and her bipolar mood swings. Couldn't ask for a better place for her.
