Wellbrooke Kokomo is not keeping up with clean living for their facility in Kokomo. I know people who used to work there and an Aunt that stayed there for PT and the floor had food on it and the linens were dirty in multiple occasions. I have spoken with staff who have quit there because patients lay in filthy dirty clothes with extended wait times for bathroom assistance. When calling nurses station via call button typically takes 45-1:15 minutes to respond

I was a patient (client) about a year ago when I broke my right femur (hip). The staff was good -nursing, Dietary, and maintenance. My time here overall was good.

When I think of Wellbrooke, I think of being safe and protected and cared for. Not only that, but it’s important to still have your dignity and your individuality and those are both things Wellbrooke prioritizes for you. I truly love everybody in the building and consider them my Wellbrooke family.

We recently had a family member who had short term stay at Wellbrooke Kokomo while recovering and doing PT/OT and this facility was incredible. We were impressed by the level of service received; from the nurses to the custodial staff, everyone was so accommodating and kind. The staff even went above and beyond to work with insurance to ensure coverage and kept in communication regarding any challenges with insurance. This was a huge relief as this situation was stressful enough; and dealing with insurance would have added so much more to our already full plates. We were also impressed by the quality of the meals provided and the activities offered. There was never a lack of things to do there! Wellbrooke of Kokomo is a top notch facility and we would highly recommend it. These healthcare workers do not get enough credit or recognition for the work they do, the challenges they face, and the ever growing shortage of healthcare employees.

I've been a resident here for two and a half years and this place has become my home. I had been at another facility before and I'm so glad to be back at Wellbrooke. The staff are good workers and have become like family to me. The staff is very good! Whenever I have questions they are really good at helping me.

the frontline workers are super heroes and above them tim is the go to troubleshooter and the joint is so clean and neat it never smells like piss like many of their competitors do. its physical therapy crew gets a standing ovation from me im on my third visit in the last few years. its a good place for old farts like me to have fun or peace quiet that i seldom get at home.

Staff caring & very friendly. Food in room (don't know about dining room) & billing definitely substandard. Must have conversations with staff to have special needs in room & at therapy filled (no request was complicated) otherwise, its general care. Windows in rooms, walls ugly depressing colors. Above average grounds maintenance & slightly above average cleanliness. Family member was there short term for physical therapy.

So strange how two places in the same town can be owned by the same corporation and be so vastly different. Admittedly, at first, there was some issues with staff. I admit to being demanding about the care my father receives; but he is my father, and I will advocate for him no matter what. The difference between Wellbrooke and the other place in town (also starts with a 'W') is that the staff treated my father respectfully, my mother with kindness, and never cussed at me. My dad enjoyed going to the dining room. He made friends. He was social. Lively. Just night and day from that other facility where he laid in bed all day and slept. He was so isolated and 'down'. Wellbrooke has been so much better for him.

Slow call light reactions. Rehab is week! They dont do much to help. Rooms are not cleaned on regular basis. Meds are not given at correct time if at all. Staff is rude and seem to not care. Not the place to take family if you want them to be taken care of and get better!

I had rehab after a stroke at wellbrooke I wish I could have stayed there longer. I am living in another trilogy place now for independent living that I do not like as well as I did wellbrooke

A bright cheery place without the smell of a nursing home/Rehab facility. Food is the reason for less than a 5. While nutritious it is very institutional in preparation. The Rehab staff is a 6, outstanding, simply outstanding. Grounds are pleasing and most if not all rooms have windows. There could be more outdoor space with shade. The staff quickly learns your name. Has to be the best place in town.
