My grandma had to stay at Northwoods Village for two weeks for rehab- and she received the best care she has ever received! The admissions process was amazing! Amanda was there every step of the way and made sure my sweet grandma was taken care of! The nurses and CNAs were amazing and were very attentive to my grandma- she didn’t have to wait long at all if she needed assistance. The therapists working with her were top notch! Her mobility improved and she got to come home sooner than we thought because they believed in her and helped her every step of the way! So thankful for the wonderful service my sweet grandma received! Thank you!

We had placed a loved one at North Woods for rehab after a serious fall, which resulted in a few weeks in Indy. The CNAS and nurses were wonderful to him, they all took time to give him the extra care he needed, when he felt more like his jokingly self, they all interacted with him. The therapy department got him from a 2 person assist to walking again. He was able to return home. Our family cannot thank the staff enough.

My dad spent approximately six weeks at North Woods Village. During this time he received excellent care from a compassionate staff. There was never a lack of follow-up if we had any questions. In fact, they reached out directly to me with changes in his healthcare status and needs. If anyone out there is in need of a long term or rehab facility, I would highly recommend North Woods Village!

The facility provides a family like environment with both their staff and residents. When my grandpa was here this past fall, he enjoyed stay. His fall resulted in some injuries, but thanks to the north woods village nursing staff and therapy, they were able to get him back to where he was needed to go home. They took the time to sit, conversate, and joke with him, which is what he appreciates most. His room and the environment always appeared to be cleaned and well kept. The staff not only developed a relationship with him, but also family as well.

I appreciate the entire staff of Northwoods. My mother was there for a few months before she moved into hospice care and everyone took such good care of her and my family. I live 2000 miles away so knowing that she was in good hands made such a difference in my comfort level in having her in an assisted living facility. Thank you!

My mother spent the last three months of her life here. She was very ill at the end and the compassion and care we received from the caregiving staff was absolutely wonderful. They even asked how we were, and what we needed, as we sat by her side. No one WANTS to move to a facility but these people make it the best possible experience.

My mother had a 2 month stay at North Woods Village for rehab. I can't say enought about how well her stay went. The employees went over and above. She was shown compassion and care by all employees during her stay. Everything from admission to dismissal went seamless and easy. Everyone was willing to help if I had questions. Nursing staff was wonderful. And rehab was great.

The therapy was AWESOME. The therapy gym is alot bigger than some others in town. I met new friends here! The whole therapy team was amazing. The other staff were great as well. I would definitely come back here again if I need therapy.

My grandmother was on the memory care unit for several years until her passing and she received exceptional care. The CNAs were loving towards her and the other residents and treated them like they would their grandparent. My family and I were very happy with the care she received while there.

The therapist and staff of North Woods are the best in Kokomo. My therapist got me strong and back home earlier than expected and I am so grateful to have been able to work with such exceptional people. My 84 year old mother broke her leg before Christmas and had surgery 12/21/22. She was non weight bearing on the broken leg and needed therapy. NWV provided her excellent Rehab! We were afraid she would have to stay for 6 weeks but were able to bring her home after 2 weeks due the great therapies she received. They taught her how to do things for herself, even though she couldn't walk on it yet. The staff were great and we are appreciative and grateful to all her caregivers!

Truly a group of staff that actually care about their residents! I’ve been in another facility that did not take care of the residents and I was one of them that was neglected. Being kind and actually hearing what the resident is trying to say means a whole heck of a lot!! Thank you NorthWoods Village! Definitely my facility of choice for when I need a place permanently.
