My mother lives in the longterm care building called Juniper. I cannot say enough good things about the staff and cleanliness of the building AND all the other buildings as well! The food is EXCELLENT and there are many choices!! The love and attention is priceless and the entire place is absolutely beautiful!! If you’re considering placing your loved one in a facility, check out this one. My grandson even said it’s this really a nursing home. It feels more like a luxurious hotel!! Last week we had an open house on a recently refurbished trail. The native plants, the meadow, the waterfall, the tiny fish being caught and the SUN AND FRESH AIR were wonderful. I slept well that night and the next morning my sleep app showed the highest score EVER for quality sleep!

When my 88-year-old mother's doctor finally recommended she enter assisted living, we only had three business days to make her move happen. Julie Pine, at Westminster Village North, is a miracle worker! My Mom loves her new apartment with a spectacular courtyard view. I am impressed at how clean and well-maintained the facility is. As a frequent business traveler, I stay in name-brand hotels whose staff could take a lesson in customer service from Westminster’s friendly and kind staff. In a world where we often expect and accept C- services, I grade Westminster an A! I rest easy knowing my Mom is well cared for and happily embracing her newest life chapter.

I have lived in one of the cottages for 4 years with my wife Pat. We lived on the East side most of our lives, and thought this might be a good place to start looking. Over the last 4 years, BHI purchased the facility, and it has been transformed into a first-class facility, like the other facilities they operate in the Midwest. The cottages perfectly meet the needs of both my wife and me. I ended up with a large workshop and office, and my wife ended up with a wonderful sunroom and a spare bedroom for her office. But even better, we have a very large yard behind our cottage that connects to a very large woods that brings many types of wildlife to our backyard. My wife, a master gardener, now has a wonderful garden for her vegetables and flowers each year. We have found the food service for the cottage residents is very good at a reasonable price. We have found some wonderful new friends here at Westminster. They are all at the same stage in life, and we have so much in common. My wife and I have visited the extended living facility and found it very clean, with beautiful wood trim and wonderful views from the windows. We hear nothing but wonderful reviews from those who have moved to these facilities. Lastly, the staff of Westminster is extremely kind, and the services we have received have been top-notch.

We moved in early January. Currently living in Tamarack independent apartments while waiting on a cottage. Many have the wrong idea of why people choose to live here. It's definitely not a place for people to wait to die. Its a warm vibrant community filled with wonderful residents and amazing staff. Always a variety of activities to choose to participate in. Beautiful outdoor wooded walking trail on property that is a source of pride for many residents. Come and become a part of an amazing community!

My husband and I moved into a cottage at Westminster Village North about 3 years ago. It’s a very special community, lots of activities, a beautiful campus with a mile walking trail through the woods and welcoming people. We’ve made many new friends and have enjoyed a peaceful life here. We wish we would’ve moved in earlier.

I have lived in independent living for almost 5 years. I moved into a two-bedroom apartment with my beloved cat, Carson. It’s been a good experience for us. I love the fact that I can stay in my apartment when I want privacy but all I have to do is open the door and I can be with friends and have lots of fun things to do.

We chose Westminster North to care for our grandparents and have been very happy with the care they have received! They have lived on all levels: independent, assisted and total care. We especially loved the knowledge and care Julie Pine puts into her work! She really works hard to explain the steps of the process and help you navigate it. The staff is trying hard, but, like most of the residents here, the facility is aging and in need of repair. Charging high rates for accommodations means the accommodations should rate high as well. The areas need to be maintained, damaged areas need repairs, and dirty areas need to be cleaned. No one wants to keep their elderly relatives in a home that's not at least as nice as the one their infirmities forced them out of. No one can afford to be in a facility like this if they don't have the means.

It was a tough but necessary decision for my mom to be here in skilled care. We interviewed several places and chose Westminster. The staff and administrators are so kind and caring. This is a tough job at any level; we so appreciate the good care our mom receives here from the aides to the nurses to the administration.

My wife, Connie, and I spent several months researching and visiting Retirement Communities in the Indianapolis area. Westminster Village North met all of our basic requirements for an active life style and potential health care needs in the future. WVN has exceeded all of our expectations with a beautiful apartment, new friends, lots of fun activities, lovely dining room and a friendly competent staff. I have lived at WVN over 10 years and have never regretted my decision. Residents and staff are friendly and helpful. All home maintenance is taken care of in a timely manner to my satisfaction. Social activities are plentiful and fun. I used WVN Healthcare last year and it was excellent. I can move to any area that I need through the years. I highly recommend WVN.

Visited my aunt. The facility is beautiful, clean and smells healthy. The hostesses are helpful and friendly. However find the nurses in one wing was not interested in attending to a resident in a wheelchair chair whose head was leaned back and appeared unconscious. I observed the resident at the early part of my visit and 2 hours later, the resident still had not moved. Head still back, still not conscious. The nurse station is clearly visible to the resident. None of the nurses seemed concerned even when I asked about the resident. After remaining in the same position, should be quite uncomfortable in the neck region.

Westminster Village North is truly a "close-knit family" retirement community. With a full continuum of care, staff across all levels really get to know the residents and ensure the residents quality of life is the best every day. Fun and interesting activities and educational programs throughout all levels of care ensure socialization opportunities, which are so very important in ageing. I especially loved the First Day of Summer Luau party in the Health Center this week. The smiles on residents' faces as staff attempted the hoola hoop challenge were priceless! Great job HC Activities team!

WVN has a lovely campus. One can walk from the independent living apartments through the assisted living apartments to the health center. It's a nice walk inside. In bad weather you often see residents getting in their walks without having to brave the elements. All three areas have dedicated activity staff who do a wonderful job engaging the residents. WVN works hard to keep staffing where it should be - which is a challenge these days. Many staff members have worked at the Village for decades! As a non-profit, the Village is transparent about the budget and works hard to ensure the Village remains financially sound. These are just a few reasons seniors should consider WVN as their next home.

Non-profit???? Hmmmm... can a place raise rent every couple of months???? Open 24 hrs? Ha... can't get much done on weekends...so I wouldn't consider it open 24/7. Food was wonderful when parents first moved in... everything has gone down hill since. Pretty places to go are now off limits. Food is like high school cafeteria food. Used to love this place.....used to.

I've been out of circulation for a good 3 weeks and I've been exposed to a lot of Dr.s. nurses, aides, and other fine people that make our health world go around. I will have been at Westminister for most of that time. They are the nicest , most caring people I've ever met. They've pushed me when I needed it, and congratulated me when I rarely deserved it. Wife has been in there for two weeks they have only gave her a bath one time my daughter and I have given her three can't get any one to tell us when bath days are. Takes to long for any one to answer call light 45 minutes is way to long can't even get toilet paper. They need to hire more people this place is a joke.

This is a great Rehabilitation facility. The Staff members from the doctor, nurses and aides are very friendly and work hard to get your family member back to where they can function at home. I highly recommend Westminster Rehabilitation Center.

Not as good as it looks. The staff picks and choose who to help. To many times I've had to call from home to get my mom help. It is a hand full of good staff members. Last days should not be remembered like this.

I have a parent currently in rehab there. Not enough staff, can take quite awhile to get even a pitcher of ice water. The stereotype of leaving the elderly in their wheelchairs to sit and watch television and urinate in the diapers ("briefs") all day is pretty on spot. The facility is top notch, but the service provided is disappointing.
