I can't say enough about the outstanding care my dad has received since living at Fairway Village! Prior to coming to Fairway Village, he was at a memory care facility that looked amazing. All sparkly and new, but the care he received was subpar. And that's what is most important to me... The care. The staff at FV is so well-trained, compassionate, friendly, and just amazing. You know that you're loved one is safe and cared for at Fairway Village!

Our loved one has Alzheimer’s. September 24 he entered Fairway Village. He had lived in an assisted memory care for 2 years and 4 months. He was being sent to a psychiatric hospital to have a medication evaluation. He was on a handful of antipsychotic and anxiety medications. Then he fell. He then spent 2 weeks in the hospital because of a fracture and restrained. No skilled memory facility would accept him, because the hospital had him restrained. His Alzheimer’s disease kept him from understanding his injury. Every facility would not accept him because he had not been restraint free for 24 hours. Fairway Village had a completely different approach. On day one he was unable to stay awake, speak clearly at all. They have created a a miracle. They have reduced his medication. Today he spoke clear words, participated in a group game, smiled a lot. I will admit when I first stepped into the facility I thought no way. I have learned it not the appearance of the building. It is the staff inside. The staff at Fairway Village well trained, full of love, and positive vibes. We are very grateful to Fairway Village.

UPDATE My husband has been a resident of Fairway Village for almost 3 years now. From the very start he received excellent care and attention and he continues to do so. The entite staff goes above and beyond. You can tell that this is not just a job to them. Day in and day out they show how much they truly cae. My husband is not only well cared for but treated with dignity, respect and love. The staff has become our family and friends I would not hesitate to recommend this place. It is a blessing that we found it. Thank you Fairway Village staff. My husband has been a resident of Fairway Village for over a year now. He continues to receive excellent care. It was a very emotional and difficult decision for me to make when I could no longer care for him at home and other living arrangements needed to be made for his continued care. I feel blessed to have found Fairway and have him as a resident there. The staff genuinely care about him and the other residents. They are always available to answer any of my questions or talk with me at any time. They are not only his caregivers but have become our friends and like family to us. Based on my experience I would highly recommend Fairway Village. It gives me peace of mind knowing that my husband is in good hands.

I toured several facilities with memory care for my brother. Fairway Village is different. I immediately saw the caring interactions they had with their residents. This facility is dedicated to men with dementia. It is smaller with a close almost family type of bond. They become familiar with each resident’s personal preferences, so they can make each person feel more comfortable. All staff members are trained in dementia care, regardless of their position. They are knowledgeable on the best way to handle situations, know how to get through to their residents, and bridge relationships that dementia may have fractured between the patient and their family. I am confident my brother is well cared for, so I am more at ease. They keep families informed, are easily available, and are a valuable support system for families as well. I highly recommend Fairway Village!

Our Dad has been at Fairway Village for a little over a year. We are able to rest at night knowing that he is being taken care of at this facility. The entire Staff are WONDERFUL. They are so respectful and patient with our father as we are all working through this regression of dementia. We, along with Dad’s sister, nieces, nephews and other family and friends, are all welcome to Fairway and treated like family. If there are any issues, questions, or updates on anything, the staff will call us immediately. It’s no surprise to open my phone and see a text message or picture with the caption, having a good day . I recommend Fairway Village to any family that is needing excellent care for their loved one. Thank you to Natasha, Lisa, Patrick, all of the Daniels and all of the other staff that do not go unnoticed. It takes all of you for this facility to be ran so smoothly.

My dad has been here for 2+years. He is comfortable here (most important) - it’s small, secure, all male, and all suffer with dementia. It’s a nasty disease no doubt, but having staff that understands the disease and advocates for their residents is priceless. I am kept up to date on everything that affects my dad and can see him at anytime of the day. Natasha is a Saint and has made the transition to long term care the best it could be for me and Dad. This is the best place for our needs!

7 months ago, I had to make a difficult decision and put my dad into a residential care facility due to his dementia. I investigated several facilities and found that Fairway Village was the best match for him. The staff at Fairway Village has helped make the transition better than I ever expected. They keep my family very informed of everything that is going on. I am very impressed with how clean they keep the facility and when it comes to the food my dad tells me all the time how good the food is there. We feel like they really care about the well-being of my dad. We also feel the staff has gone above and beyond, on several occasions, for him. Based on my experience I would highly recommend Fairway Village for your loved ones. It gives me peace of mind knowing that my dad is in good hands and is happy with his living arrangements. I can’t say enough good things about this facility.

It is unfortunate that there are bad reviews on here. My Dad was in another facility before I was told he was being kicked out and moved to Fairway Village! I literally couldn't believe it and wasn't even consulted. He was in a dementia ward there also and they continued to do things after I directly told them not to. The worst part was that they told me his behavior was inappropriate and unacceptable. Uh, yeah...he is losing his mind and they were supposed to be experts! My experience at Fairway Village has been quite the opposite! The staff and director truly care and best of all...THEY UNDERSTAND DEMENTIA PATIENTS! They have been patient with my Dad, cared for him and treated him with decency and respect as he regresses through this horrible disease. I took care of my Dad for approximately 3 years before he went into a facility so I understand how hard that is. Unfortunately, I think some people's expectations might be unrealistic. If you want honesty, a caring attitude and a facility that will accept your loved one without judgement, you will find it at Fairway Village!

I moved my dad from a different facility to this one. All the issues I had with the last place is non-existent here. He is treated with dignity and respect here. The staff are just awesome so I don't have to worry about my dad's care anymore. Where else will you get pictures your family member texted to you? Or a text to tell you how their day went? My father was at this nursing home for 1 1/2 years until he passed. Everyone at Fairway Village took an interest in my father and helped make his last final years comfortable. He was happy here and he was loved by so many people there. I really felt comfortable leaving my father there and I knew they were trained in Alzheimer's. He was at two other nursing homes that I took him out of because they were not doing their job but Fairway Village is a great place for your relative if they have Alzheimer's. I really appreciate all the staff that took care of my father and I will never forget all their love they gave my father and their hard work and dedication. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. KH

My grandfather is placed in this facility. The staff the medical attention and constant one on one attention that is given to him is more than greatly appreciated. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure his safety as well as my families knowledge of his current condition. Elizabeth Price and the director of nursing Rosie Normand have provided above excellent accommodations for my grandfather. We are so great full for their constant attention in order to provide him with a safe and caring environment. I would give the staff here a +5 rating. They are truly concerned with the safety of their clients.

So far it has been a good experience for my brother. The staff seems friendly and caring for him. It is a non-smoking facility, but they do allow e-cigs, which is good. Hoping he continues to like it, it's too far for me to drive for regular visits from Louisville, KY. I wish there were more all male facilities like this one.
