I cannot express how grateful my family and I are for Scott, the head of admissions at American Village nursing home. When my mom needed physical therapy, we were completely lost about the process and what our options were. Scott went above and beyond to make the transition as smooth as possible. He even came in on a Sunday morning to show us around and answer all of our questions. Scott's knowledge and expertise about insurance and costs were invaluable, but what really stood out was his genuine care for our needs and those of our mom. He even gave us his personal cell phone number in case we needed any assistance. Throughout the entire process, my sister and I talked about how refreshing it was to have someone who knew what real customer service is. Scott's exceptional service made an impression on our family that didn't go unnoticed. Although my mom passed away before she was able to transfer to American Village, Scott still reached out to offer his sympathy several days later. This level of compassion and empathy is truly rare and greatly appreciated. Thank you, Scott, for being an amazing advocate and resource for our family during a difficult time. Your kindness and professionalism will never be forgotten

My experience with American Village during my mother's stay in the Independent Apartments facility at Lincoln Lodge could not have been better. My 90-year-old mother broke her hip and needed a facility to help her continue to heal after being discharged from an Sub-acute Rehab facility - I wish 10 stars were an option to rate them. Every aspect of their Independent Apartments facility was top notch. The office staff who helped me settle her in there was so helpful and very professional; Alysha, a Senior Lifestyle Specialist there, could not have been any more helpful in this process - she went above and beyond in helping us throughout. After living there for 6 months mom will soon move back to her home, and while we are grateful she made a remarkable recovery to do so, we really have mixed emotions about her leaving Lincoln Lodge - she loved it there, she loved the the staff - from the office to the kitchen (she really loved the food there) - she felt like she was a member of a family. She also loved the transportation program where she could make Dr visits, go to the drugstore, bank....etc. She will miss American Village and especially the staff.

There are two wonderful employees of this organization, however, the rest left much to be desired. They did not check on my uncle often enough, did not take care of basic hygiene such as washing him, trimming nails, hair washing, shaving and they didn't inform me when he fell. For the price, I expected Rolls Royce care, but was very saddened by the attention and attitudes of the staff. I believe some were rough with him, and didn't bother to check on his pain levels. He died recently, lucky for him, but if I had it to do again, I would have chosen a different place. Good luck with your loved ones.

The staff at AV have taken great care of my mother. They are caring toward her and she is happy there. We are happy with how they have handled the COVID-19 situation and their plan to try to keep as many of their residents safe as possible.

If you want to get an accurate view of American Village, go on the weekend. The regular workers are normally off and the weekend workers are awful. I had lunch with my mom on Sunday and there was only one CNA working. She had to get the residents up and serve lunch by herself! There were sticky dirty tableswith dishes and trash from breakfast (I wish I had taken pictures). My moms room was dirty with trash on the floor. Needless to say, Im looking for somewhere else for her to stay!

I have worked for ASC for almost a year and love the community spirit of this company. Anything that they can do for the patients to make life easier is done. The building may be older but ASC continually works to make improvements as fast as they can and I never lack for resources to help facilitate that process. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Danville Regional Rehab for my family and friends!

I have worked for ASC for 2 years through 3 buildings. This company has been good to me. The management of each building has been good to me. I have finally found my niche in life and my career as a chef has new life as I help my kitchen bring C.A.R.E. to the residents and families of my building. Coming to ASC has been the best decision of my career.5 stars

I witnessed the professional care my cousin received at American Village. The staff members, without exception, were always pleasant and helpful to family members and friends when they visited during the 3+ months she was there. Most importantly, they were attentive to my cousins needs and took care of them in a respectful way, allowing her to maintain her dignity. They never talked down to her. Of course, she was the sort of person who always treated others, including the staff at American Village, with respect and appreciation. On being discharged, she left with cards and other small mementos from the staff.

I love this place. It may not have been open as a skilled nursing home for one year but I think you will hear a lot of good things about Fairway Nursing home in Indianapolis Indiana. Our family was at our last resort when they offered to take our brother in. They have assured us that they would take the best care of him. They have walked me through all the resources to get him the care that he needs. They council your on the emotional, physical and financial needs that your loved one is going through. Even though he is far away from his family , I trust the staff with his care. He is only a phone call away from us . They are a small operation , but that is a plus for me as I feel he gets the attention he needs. Highly recommend them!!!5 stars
