My mom was there for rehab after a fall she was well taken care of except had a man move in across the hall blaring the radio and tv cussing and that frightened my mom . I’m now searching for care on the west side where we live now and wanted to place A review because my past 2 months have been a nightmare compared to my experience lately.

Very Nice Place.Everyone Has Went Out Of Their Way To Make My Husband and I Feel Comfortable and At Home. Tim Is A Great Nurse And He and My Husband Get Along Great!!! My Husband Is In Rehab, And Doing Well!!! I Met Tim,and He Is Very Knowledgeable,Friendly,and Very Respectful!!! The Place Is Clean, And Everyone Is Friendly,Respectful and Supportive. I Would Definitely Trust Them With Any Loved Ones!!!❤️❤️❤️

I have worked in a few long term care facilities and for a couple different companies. I can honestly say that CarDon is the best in the business. The staff at the Altenheim really care about their residents. If you are having issues, management is happy to help work through them.

I love the Altenheim. I personally feel, Cardon facilities exceed the qualities of any other skilled nursing, Long term care facility in the Indianapolis area. They are very family oriented and genuinely care about each and every resident. The facility is also clean and has a wonderful smell. If I had a loved one in need of skilled nursing care or long term care, I would definitely choose The Altenheim!

My mother lived at the Altenheim for six years. She loved the activities and the friendships she developed with both residents and staff.The nursing she received was excellent and the office staff was both friendly and efficient. My family is very grateful for the care our mother received.

I have worked at the Altenheim for 4 years and every time I come to work Im always greeted with a smile which makes working here enjoyable. We have a great management team which primarily focuses on making sure our residents are accommodated and theyre always put first. I would definitely recommend my family to this place.

This is my 2nd time around here.The staff here is great,always helpfull and they pay attention.The va sent me here and said they would let me wait till a bed opens for me.They did and it was here that i suggested i come for rehab.Rehab classes are great,and fun.The main thing here is we are here for rehab and to get ourselves better and more functioning in the world,i didnt come here to be a food critic or a people and property critic.The food is good not great,but were are not at a 5 star compound we are here to get better,so what i say is i would rather be here than any where else,oh and also god bless the va for putting this together for me gary roose

Its great to see the Director of Nursing (Shannon Durham) and the Administrator (2 postings as Rylee Lutz & Rylee Humphies) posting reviews. As an employee, I can honestly say that all of the nurses I have interacted with do sincerely care about quality care, getting things done timely and making sure the residents are clean, safe and pain free. Every facility has issues, but the nurses and aides I have worked with are awesome.

Our Aunt has been a resident here for a while and has very little to no complaints. The service has been pretty fair to her and all the guests.The nurses are always friendly with a smile on their faces and always ready to answer any questions.Would definitely recommend this place to anyone in need of care.
