I would like to commend all the employers at Brookdale in Granger, IN. I was able to get to know the amazing staff and see first hand how capable, compassionate and caring they all are. They have a fantastic team put together with an exceptional team member Kurt Arkangel. He helped us through a very stressful time in our families life. He worked endlessly to be able to get our family member there and made the transition so effortless on our part. Kurt’s pleasant personality helped our loved one to be comfortable going there and took her fears away by explaining exactly what his facility offered. My father resided at Brookdale in Granger for over 2 years. The employees have done an exceptional job of caring for him. Even though the past year with the Covid virus caused fewer face to face visits, my father at 103 years of age was a happy man. He recently passed away and all the employees from the executive director to the maintenance man gave him excellent service. Ed Mullis

Staff at this Brookdale Granger facility have the best interest of residents at heart. They are doing a great job of providing activities with social distancing so residents dont have to sit in their rooms all day. They encourage them to get out of their rooms as much can be allowed. They have also been kind enough to provide an iPad for my 100 y-o mother so I can FaceTime with her from my home in North Carolina. That means a LOT to both my mother and me and lessens her feeling of isolation. THANK YOU Brookdale Granger.

Though mom was only at Brookdale Granger for about month, we felt very blessed to have such wonderful staff members caring for mom. They made her feel comfortable, attended to her needs, gave us support and comfort food during her last week at Brookdale. Brookdale - Granger you rock!!!!! Keep up the good work!!!!!

Brookdale Granger had a very nice atmosphere. I liked how they had a long canopy for the residents if they wanted to sit outside. They had nice benches for them and lovely decorations out there for the season. It was nice because the gal who took us on the tour was absolutely precious. She had my mom sit and wait while I went and got the car and then I drove up and she walked Mom out to the car, which I thought was amazing. She was that caring. I liked their caring attitude. They also had exercise, which was not extremely strenuous but kept you moving and limber and stretching and that type of thing which is very important. I was impressed by the activities. They had a very small library. The people who work there would take your dog out if needed. They were willing to step in and help and that impressed me. We came in contact with many workers. The nurse was in the hallway with the med cart which was locked, but she was out there and assisting with meals and helping folks. I really liked the overall experience, and my mom found it appealing, too. There were fairly large-sized rooms with your own bathroom. The menu was nice. Their building was very nice, neat, clean, and well kept. Their decorations were nice, and the maintenance of the building was good.

Not sure I have the words to express how my wife and I feel about Brookdale and the staff. My sister Wilma was only there a short time, but was treated so well by everyone. She passed away on her birthday, April 26th, at St, Joseph Hospital. We want to thank everyone for the kind words and for visiting her, especially on her birthday. I know those visits made her feel better and she asked if we were going to take her back to " that place where everyone is so nice". Also, thank you for the flowers sent to her viewing in Highland. We will be by to visit when things settle down a little, because everyone there made us feel like family. Thank you for everything you did for Wilma, Sharon and me.

We chose Brookdale Granger for my mom. They have very caring staff. The rooms are super cute. Hers has got a beautiful bay window and a full bathroom. They have different actives like bingo and concerts where people come in and sing quite often. They also have exercise classes. I have not eaten there myself, but they have a very nice dining area.

I'm a Brookdale employee myself, from Indiana. I stop at Brookdale in Kissimmee Florida will on vacation. The two young lady I met was cheerful and friendly. I loved it.

Brookdale Granger is very good. It's the only one I really went through, and I was so pleased with it, I've decided to use them for my husband. The staff is very good. They seem to be very knowledgeable. Their rooms are very nice. My husband's room is adequate. I would recommend this facility to others.

Emeritus at Arborwood were very helpful, and the people I talked to were kind. The time that my dad was there, they just seemed very good to him. Im just so very grateful for that. The dining room is lovely, they have tablecloths on the table. Ive been there when my dad has eaten, and he likes a big cup of coffee. I can tell that theyre getting to know the residents -- and not just the nurses and staff -- but we were talking about the housekeepers, the dining staff all of that; theyre just very good. What I really most is the people there; they are just very accommodating if some of the residents want to go outside, they accompany them. Theyre not trying to do the least amount of stuff. His room is kept clean, and they encourage him to do things like make his bed. I just think the staff is remarkable and very good. He participates in activities; he doesnt just sit in his room. They have a bible study once a week and exercises throwing the ball around. He probably doesnt do as much as I would want him to do, but they are doing their very best to encourage him, and it feels like home.

Emeritus at Arborwood was nice. In fact, they were just in the middle of redecorating when we went there. The lady that we worked with was very good, very supportive and offered all kinds of suggestion. In fact that's where we are going to send my dad once we get to the situation where my mom can't take care of him anymore. That's the place where he is probably going to go. I would recommend it to other people.

Emeritus for my mother is just like being home. She has a very lovely, comfortable room. The staff is excellent and they have the best activity director that I have ever met. He is absolutely wonderful. He has so many lovely activities for all the residents. He makes it his personal agenda to get my mother to participate. I cannot say enough about the staff. They're all amazing, very loving and caring people. They treat the residents as if they were their parents.
