We feel safe, not only physically, but also emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. The entire staff always have smiles on their faces, call you by name, and are fast to respond to any needs of residents. We are a family here in a wonderful community. Well a few months later- Complete change of staff Air conditioners not working in several rooms, making the rounds Questioning maintenance work just one worker now, able to do it all ?

My husband and I toured and had lunch there. I had my mother in a nursing home years ago. Just recently had my brother in one. This place is phenomenal awesome. I can’t say enough.The personal was very nice and informative. It was very clean. The price was unbelievable reasonable.

This Place is terrible. My father has been in there for 7 months and the main director has already changed, the nursing director as well 5 times so far. The rest of the staff way to many times to count. They vaccinated my dad when he had already had his vax. And he got very ill for weeks. They said he walked down and asked for it, but my dad doesn't leave the room by himself. They lied and told me he leaves his room every day. He had a stroke in Feb25 before entering Astral and is not able to wheel himself around. if you are considering astral please feel free to search me on the web I will gladly show you the emails and texts from the facility.

I checked into this place for my mother in law. It is a beautiful place but there is no way she could afford it. My whole family with all our incomes couldn't afford it. I don't see how people on fixed income afford it. Sad

We looked at over a dozen places on the Indy metro southside for my mom and we picked Astral. Their facility and staff are top notch. Their onsite physical and occupation therapy were pluses. They do employ RNs, not just just CNAs like some other communities. My mom really enjoyed living there, she got a ton of social interactions she was not getting at the house. My only regret is we didn't move her to Astral sooner.

They have the best staff and they have taken excellent care of my dad. Moving at this stage of life is never easy and it’s always a balance of what am I giving up.’ My dad has definitely GAINED by moving here. There are activities, movie day in the theater, gym activities, and Anna, the chef, has done her best to fatten him up!!! Thank you all for what you’ve done to make his life better!!!!!
