My loved one was there for rehab for 3 weeks after being released from the hospital for pneumonia. In those three weeks she lost 18 lbs which she did not need to loose. We watched her mentally begin to shut down and got her out as soon as we could. Once she went back to her assisted living apartment she continued therapy there and regained most of the weight she had lost. I would never recommend this place unless you are bunking with your loved one. Walked in a few times and the oxygen hose was disconnected from the unit. They don’t care if they eat or not. She told us a few times when they took her down for therapy and all they did was ask if she could raise her legs then sent her back to her room. I suspect they keep them there as long as they can to bill Medicare.

My mom has been at the Gracepoint Rehab facility inside of Crown Point Christian Village for the past 2 months. The staff members have been very kind and patient with her in her recovery. Thank you so much!!

Therapy is amazing with Jen And Lisa. All runs and n.a. s were helpful and very accomadating. This is my first time with inpatient rehab. I totally reccomend this place.

Were coming up on two years since my grandma moved into assisted living at CPCV. I have nothing but praise for the staff. Everyone, from the people at the front desk, to the staff, nurses and administrators have been fantastic. They do a great job communicating with our family.I feel they have done an exceptional job putting together guidelines and procedures for safety during COVID.Im so glad that we chose CPCV!

My mom has gotten such good care. Shannon and the Memory care team have such a difficult job, but they are very good at what they do. ..when my mom first got to this facility I asked a nurse point blank why she worked there. No one wants to reach the point where they have to place a loved one in a nursing home. A year ago I had to place my mother in a nursing home as she did not get the care she needed in the assisted living facility where she lived. I called Crown Point Christian Village for an assessment and a nurse came out that day. She moved in the next day. It was very hard for both of us. The staff was wonderful in reassuring me that it takes a few weeks for a new resident to get used to their new home. The Activity Director and her staff made sure to include her in all the activities. They would come for her. They encouraged her. The facility itself is very clean. The bedding is changed with a date listed. The staff is pleasant and they are very observant of any medical problems that might arise. Blood pressure is taken regularly and they recently discovered that my mom had a UTI. Labs can be done at the facility. If they are able, you can take your loved one out for a meal or family dinner at your house. I was determined to try and keep things as normal as possible. I would not hesitate to recommend Crown Point Christian Village. It is still difficult for me but if I need information the facility is always ready to answer my questions.

I cant put into words how amazing CPCV is. My Aunt moved in, in May 2019. She was a mess physically and mentally dt being in another LTC facility. CPCV got her medications straightened out, she participated in therapy, and was strong again. She made new friends and participated in activities. She loved it at CPCV. As she has recently passed away, I would just like to say thank you so much for making her last year of life wonderful. She was surrounded by great people who wanted nothing but the best for her. The staff is amazing nurses, CNAs, dietary, housekeeping, activities, social services, management. Everyone truly looked over her to make sure she was okay. They have the best interest of each Resident in mind. CPCV is a family and Im glad my Aunt was apart of it. I appreciate everything they all did for my Aunt. Thank you again CPCV.

My experience with the aids and nurses so far has been fantastic. They show compassion and care to their patients and I am quite happy with the quality of care from the physical therapist occupational therapist aids and nurses not perfect but above average in all areas

My Mom was recently transferred from St Petersburgh Florida to Christian Village. Jessica Knox and staff were just incredible in helping jump thru all the necessary hoops via State Approval along with getting my Mom acclimated to her new incredible facility!! My mother lives here. There is peace of mind knowing shes in a safe environment. The worker are very nice and respectful to the residents. The apartments are nice. Most of them are being renovated with new flooring, tile back splashes & stainless steel appliances. Some day the meals could be better but there are lots of options for the residents.

My greatest memory is when my daughter decided to donate one of her own baby dolls to the Alheimers ladies and to see their love and happiness towardd those baby dolls blessed us so much! It is truly better to give than to receive! Thank you for all you do!5 stars

Very welcoming environment, the staff is very caring and compassionate, residents are sociable and always provided friendly greetings when I would visit, I love the outreach events they do that includes community members and really enjoyed taking my daughter to track or treat (especially getting to see all the residents reactions to the kids costumes!)5 stars

My Mom was a resident at Crown Point Christian Village for the past 4 years. My brothers and I didnt want to place our Mom in a nursing home...ever. However, when Mom became non-weight bearing, we were no longer able to properly care for her. We looked into a few facilities, but were just so discouraged. Once we met with CP Christian Village, we knew deep in our hearts we had found home for our Mom. At first, our social Mom kept to herself. However, with a little coaxing from the staff, it wasnt long before she started going to the activity room, and then the dining room, and then church. And, she just continued to flourish. Our Mom blossomed from all the love surrounding her by the staff. All of the nurses and aides, the Pastor, the activity staff, dining room staff, custodial services... all... were so loving and kind to her. And, she deeply loved them all, as did we. All of her needs were met, but it went far beyond that. You see, our Mom had a little beagle, Molly. Mom was so distraught she would have to give Molly up. CP Christian Village heard of Moms distress over Molly, and they invited Molly (on a trial basis at first) to become a resident of CPCV. So, Mom and Molly were both residents, and Molly made many, many friends. Especially, those with treats! Sadly, Molly passed away a year ago. We were so thankful Molly was allowed to remain a part of our Moms life. The Crown Point Christian Village offers several Church services, in different denominations. The meals provided are very good; the food is very tasty. Many different activities are offered, including Bingo (Moms very favorite), Bunco, Trivia, Movies, Book Readings, and so much more... oh, and coffee!!They have a hair salon, with the sweetest hair stylist ever! I cannot stress enough, if you are in the position my brothers and I were in 4 years ago, please contact this special, special Christian Village. We were so blessed we did.One final note: Our Mom went home to be with our Heavenly Father 2 days ago. Her funeral is tomorrow. As grief-stricken, as we all are, I felt it was important to praise a staff that made our Moms final years so unbelievably remarkable. Our Mom touched so many lives, but all of our lives have been deeply touched by all at the Crown Point Christian Village. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We will love you forever.

The co workers are awesome and even the residents are funny too. I fell in love with em all. Sad I had to leave and pursue other jobs in life.. Great place too work. I really miss working there

The staff is wonderful some more than.others but I am around a lot. Even Gus the cat and Mollie the dog know when Im there (I have treats). very clean and respectful to ALL the residents. It will never be home but the staff really have wonderful patience and and try to make my mom comfortable.
