Stacy, the ED, has been a stable leader for many years and has hired a great team to support her and take care of the residents. When walking in the lobby, you will be greeted by a smiling face and receive a warm welcome. It's as if the lobby is saying "how can we help you today?" The residents look happy cheerful. Leadership and staff from top to bottom are genuine and caring.

I came to view Traditions as a possible living situation for my grandparents. Wow, I was amazed. Not only by the very friendly atmosphere because of the people I met, but the staff was top notch! Arielle was super helpful and accommodating!

Everyone is wonderful! The facility is clean, friendly and always makes you feel welcome. They do so many fun activities with all of the residents whether in memory care or the assisted living side, when you walk in you are immediately greeted with a friendly smile and a hello. My brother and I could not have picked a better facility for our mom to live.

My mom moved to a villa at Traditions two years ago, and it's been a wonderful experience for us all. She's made several new friends and participates in many of the organized activities. She especially enjoys hanging out with friends at the dog park during summer evenings. Since she doesn't have a dog, she enjoys the chance to play with others' dogs. She also looks forward to nightly dinners, where her friends gather around a large table to eat, share stories, and enjoy each other's company. We are very impressed with the Traditions staff, who are organized, professional, friendly, and helpful. If you're looking to downsize, or have parents who need more structure and less worry, you should definitely consider Traditions of Columbus.

Our experience touring Traditions of Columbus was absolutely wonderful and that is entirely because of Arielle. From the moment my grandmother and I walked through the doors, Arielle made us feel genuinely welcomed, valued, and completely at ease. We weren’t just a “number” to her. She made my grandmother feel like she mattered. Touring senior living options has felt really overwhelming and emotional, but Arielle approached every moment with warmth, patience, and such thoughtful attention to detail. She didn’t just “show us around” and hand us a pamphlet. She took the time to understand my grandmother, her preferences, her lifestyle, and what would make her feel most at home here. Of course the facility is beautiful but any facility can be beautiful. I wanted to find somewhere that felt like home for my grandmother. And Arielle’s attention to the little things made me feel so secured in knowing she would always be treated with this level of kindness. If we ultimately decide that Traditions is the best next step, it will be solely because of Arielle and the exceptional experience she created for us. Her kindness, empathy, and attention to detail set the standard for what senior living guidance should feel and look like. We are so grateful for her care and highly recommend asking for Arielle if you take a tour. She truly makes all the difference!!

The facility is really nice on the surface, most all staff is friendly and helpful. Make sure you verify what truly is offered/promised and ask the hard questions to hold management to a higher standard even if they push back. We were promised many things when we were making the decision to move our loved one here. There was high turn over both in the head nurse position as well as the dementia supervisor position. Consistency was a great concern. Know that even if specific things are listed in the care plan, that does not mean that the care plan is being honored. Pay attention to what the expectation is and what you are paying for is being followed. There are many options out there, so do your homework and talk to people to find out what you can truly expect. Dignity, respect to the resident AND to the family and getting what you pay for matters.

They are taking wonderful care of my grandma. The rooms (or shall I say suites) are very nice and big for a nursing facility with personalized care for your loved ones. They have a big cafeteria, room service, activities, a movie theater, church, etc. Microwaves and refrigerators are included in the patients rooms as well. They take care of everything including cleaning and laundry. They also welcomed her cat! Incredible and above board! Thank you for everything!

This facility is unbelievably beautiful! The design, cleanliness, music and all the extras, felt like I had stepped into a resort. The bar/pub was so classic and a great addition. Upon meeting the wellness director, it was obvious that the residents were in great hands.

So glad we found this place for dad . Just got back from a surprise 98 birthday visit with my sister. Dinner staff had him a birthday cookie and candle and sang to him . Receptionist stayed after work to play euchre with us trying to get him involved with the card group. He had a great time and it shows the care staff truly has for the residents . Can’t than lynn enough for that night.

We had to place our father into a memory-care facility. The staff at Traditions was ABSOLUTELY wonderful in helping us to get everything set and to make the transition. Traditions is a great place. The staff truly care about the residents. I am so grateful for the staff. Unfortunately my father has since passed but Traditions of Columbus allowed my father to live the final years of his life independently and with dignity.

I am a professional entertainer for seniors, with a degree in Music Therapy, and I am asked to perform regularly at Traditions of Columbus. I visit nearly everywhere but I must say that Traditions is one of my favorites. Their events are on a grand scale with much going on, including food served by the Administrative Staff (which is unheard of anywhere else!) I have been asked to perform out front, in the lounge, in the dining room, outside the dining room in a heated or cooled patio, in the Activity Room, and for Memory Care - both inside and outside in their Courtyard. The place is amazing and the staff's creativity and concentration on providing variety for their residents is outstanding.

Being a type A person, I thoroughly checked out all options available in Bartholomew County. I am thrilled with her care, understanding, compassion, and willingness to work with me to figure things out as they occur. They have always been there for us in a myriad of ways. We moved my grandmother into assisted living about 6 months ago. We knew we made the right decision after getting to know the staff and other residents. My grandma has been the happiest since my grandpa died 2 years ago. We are all very happy with the care and attention she receives. As one of her only grandkids and living out of state, I can rest assured that she will have the best care. The units are amazing and allows me to spend time and visit her without being too crowded and invading her space. I recommend the Traditions of Columbus to anyone who is worried about their elderly loved ones! I can not express how happy we are with everyone and everything!

My grandparents had been married for over 60 years. After my grandfathers passing, my grandma was so distraught that she started to develop a form of dementia due to the stress and anxiety of my grandfather not being there by her side. We hated to do it but finally decided to put her into a memory care unit. It took trying out multiple facilities for short periods of time before we found Traditions of Columbus. Right when we walked in, we knew this was going to be the best place for my grandma to be. The beautiful building and architecture paired with most careful staff, this would lay out to be the best place for my grandmother to spend her last years on this earth. We can’t thank them enough for what they’ve done to keep my grandmother happy and healthy!

As our population grows older many adult children are caring and supporting their aging parents. I have found that there are little in resources for helping determine how to care for their needs. It was a difficult and stressful time deciding when and where I would downsize my parents home but not downsize their social life. Traditions of Columbus was my welcomed resource. Once I welcomed their advice and knowledge life became so much easier. Traditions has since supported the passing of my father. They have supported my mother as she finds a new normal. I am grateful for the people at Traditions of Columbus and urge people to bring their questions. To really ask those questions that float around that seem so silly because these are the people that will help you answer them! Best to those who are on this journey.
