From the first visit, move in and the first few weeks it has been great. Everyone has made my dad feel welcomed and he is excited with all the activities. It was the best move , so much so my mother-in-law moved in today.

Wonderful people who care about the residents. My sister is in Reflections area and the people there know her and work with her. They try to get her involved in activities, but they don't force her. I have a friend who has lived in the other area for 5 years.

I searched nearly a dozen assisted living facilities and found Rose to be friendly, efficient and caring for my mother. From the first visit with Samantha, to the move and ultimately the care givers, the entire experience has been a blessing for my mother and the family. I can sleep again and not worry about her. I am not easy to please, but the staff at Rose has done it!

Good Morning Mitch - I hope this note finds you well. As we move toward the holidays and the new year I decided to take a few minutes to send you a note that is LONG overdue. This time last year my sister, Deb, and I had begun our search for a place to call home for Mom and we were overwhelmed. After failed attempts to find the right place we got in touch with Dave Holder from Assisted Living Locators and he introduced us to Rose Senior Living. When we walked in the front door we knew this was a community that Mom would enjoy! Our first meeting was with Sam and it solidified what we felt about the community. Sam made us feel very comfortable and helped us navigate the process. She was instrumental in getting Mom to her new home and helping us feel good about the tough decisions. No matter what question we had, Sam was there to listen and get us in contact with the right team lead. She listened to our needs and showed us the perfect apartment for Mom and Sadie. Ty and his team helped us get Mom's apartment ready by responding to questions and tickets in a timely manner. We had trouble with getting Mom's Comcast tuner set up to her TV and Ty was right there to make it work! That may seem a little thing, but as exhausted as we all were… it meant A LOT! Roslyn and her team are amazing, too. As you know, we didn't have a good experience with previous Dir of Health Services but I wanted to let you know Roslyn is who saved the day for that team! Enter Michael Fulk. Oh my goodness. I can't say enough about all he did to assist our family. New to the scene he was trying to help us unravel a knotted up mess caused by the previous Dir of Health Services and he was amazing. He felt the full wrath of my Mom's anger when she got a bill at her door (instead of being sent to me) and took it in stride. He has felt the sting of my angst when a bump in the road caused heartburn for Mom yet he weathered the storm and helped us find an answer. He made sure that our Insurance Company got what they needed to utilize her Long Term Care Plan and keep Mom and I happy. He deserves gold stars!! Walking through the lobby one day, I saw a familiar face from our community search. Jim King. He is fabulous. We really liked him when we meet with him at another community and were happy to see him at Rose. He remembered from our visit at the other community that Mom loved to play bridge and he tried to get a bridge game started for her. ( I have since been told that a bridge game got started, but the participants felt Mom couldn't play well enough so she was excluded. ) Larry Plawecki reached out to let us know there was an issue and then quickly helped us get Mom's records finalized and complete. We appreciate all of his efforts to clean up the records left in tatters by his predecessor. We appreciate Layce for creating such wonderful calendars full of things to do. A special thank you to her for her assistance in getting Sadie to the vet the morning Sadie passed away. It meant a lot. I'd like to say a HUGE thank you to the entire staff for how they surrounded Mom with love and care after Sadie passed away. Mom loved that pup and it was hard for her to see her sick. It was very hard when we found out that there wasn't anything else we could do for her. A big thank you to Aurora and Tamika, too. They are awesome! We have seen their kindness in action in dealing with Mom regularly. The dining staff… oh my goodness. They are so sweet! Basically, what I am trying to say is this…. you have assembled an AMAZING team! I know I've missed someone and missed mentioning great things the team has done. Well done! Wishing the entire team a wonderful holiday season. A heartfelt "Thank You" to you, Mitch, for creating and retaining an AWEOME and loving, caring team at Rose-Carmel.

Amazing facility and staff! My mom was in Rose's independent living for a couple of years, but decided to move into a single family home. Later, when we realized she could no longer live by herself, we moved her back to Rose Senior Living. She is now in the Assisted Living facility and it's absolutely fantastic. Everyone is so caring, helpful, professional and truly committed to caring for her. I couldn't imagine having her anywhere else. I highly recommend Rose Senior Living!

We recently moved our mother from Woodland Terrace (where she was a resident for seven years but tired of the declining services and lack of adequate staffing) to Rose Senior Living. The facilities are bright and beautiful (a movie theater, game room, lovely terraces and outdoor spaces, a great gym/fitness center, several dining options....) and very well-maintained. The offerings for the residents range from organized card games and movies to chair yoga and Tai Chi. But the biggest asset for us has been the staff. Our mother is in the assisted living section and her aides are proactive, responsive, caring and generally very cheerful and ready to help with anything. It was a difficult decision to move but we are very happy with the outcome - AND she's paying less than at Woodland Terrace. A win/win/win. Keep it up, Rose! And thank you.

My mom wasn't doing well at another assisted living facility in Indy but is now thriving! A year ago she was in and out of the hospital with dehydration-related issues and depression but now she is the healthiest and happiest I've seen her in years. The staff are attentive and kind. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Their philosophy that being social is a key to a senior's well-being has made all the difference! Highly recommend!! (And will probably want to come live here when it's my time)

Rose senior living is a great place to work at especially if you are a CNA, HHA, QMA, or LPN. I’ve been here for 5 months now and I’ve loved it since the start. Overall, everyone has good team work ethic. The building is beautiful and huge. The staff provides great service to the residents. Very friendly and professional facility!

Rose Senior Living has exceptional staff, beautiful rooms, excellent food and amazing amenities. It is the place my Mom chose to live when she decided to leave her apartment. It is well located in Carmel, Indiana (not right beside a heavily trafficked road). Personally, I think it is the best place of its kind in Carmel.

My mother loves the facility and the staff. It is a beautiful property. Her favorite day of the week is wednesday so she can attend the "wine down wednesday" event to dance and drink wine with her friends there. She also loves to watch movies in the movie theater with her neighbors. Her favorite amenity by far is the restaurant. I eat there often with her and can attest to the chef being great with ever changing options.

Our mom became a resident of Edward Rose Senior Living in their Memory Care facility in late February. It was a tremendously difficult decision for us to accept that we could no longer care for her and we spent numerous hours researching options, visiting facilities, interviewing the residences of these communities, and talking with as many staff members as possible from the Executive Director to the Kitchen staff. It soon became apparent that without a doubt, we made the very best decision. We continue to believe that the nursing staff in particular advocated for our mother’s best care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The staff quickly learned our names and would contact me if anything was amiss. Often I would get calls or text messages just to check in to see how I was coping. During the COVID-19 scare, Crystal who is a dementia specialist, dressed in full gear more than once and used her personal phone so that we could have a window visits with my mom and she was able to see her great granddaughter. There are no hidden costs at Edward Rose unlike most everywhere else. The food is enjoyed by the community and the kitchen staff will go out of their way to prepare a special request meal if necessary. Katie, the social director, does a terrific job coordinating daily hands-on activities and treats the residences with respect and dignity. My mom’s room was always clean, her laundry was done, and her bed was made daily with clean sheets to create a warm, safe, and inviting environment. Anthony, who is the head of nursing, took care of any need I had even if that need was just a medical opinion or offering assurances. We would like to make a special shout out to George, Kadee, and Michelle who cried with us when our mom ultimately passed in peace. My sister and I visited this community and were blown away! It is a beautiful building and community. Samantha blew us away with her kindness and knowledge. She put us at ease and didn't pressure us. We felt cared for, rather than being managed or sold to as at other communities. So refreshing!

Would recommend to family and friends for placement. Residents are able to weigh in on some building decisions and given choices, and have heard about and seen some communities not allow that. Workers are excited to work here and residents enjoy being at Rose.

I was given the task to start the search process for a senior living facility for my mother-in-law. The task seemed overwhelming but as I started visiting places in the area, it became clear which places truly cared about what would be best for my mother-in-law and which ones seemed more like pushy salespeople. I was immediately impressed by Rose Senior Living. I met with Deleath and she was amazing! She answered all of my questions and really took the time to ask me questions so she could better understand my mother-in-law as a person and the types of activities etc that would interest her. I was impressed by the beautiful facility but was even more impressive was all of the staff I met— all seemed to truly care about the residents and wanting them to feel Rose was their home. Deleath has been so professional and attentive - she called all the residents by name as we toured the facility. And she continues to reach out to see if I have any other questions or concerns. My mother-in-law is not quite ready to make the move out of her home yet but once she is ready I know Rose and Deleath and the entire Rose community will be ready to help in any way we need.
