My mom was not happy with having to leave her home in November of 2024, but my sister and I made the decision for her that assisted living was the way to go. She visited with me and did a tour, and that was all it took! She was ready to move in as soon as possible. Because she wanted the larger of the two rooms, she had to wait for a bit as one of the rooms was getting a "makeover". She moved in later in November, and Nikki, Kelly, Kim, Shellie and Melissa were so accommodating to her needs that we knew right away that she was in the right spot for her. The facility was always immaculate, guests and residents were very happy, and the staff, in its entirety, is supreme. I never worried about Mom after we moved her into Cedar Creek of Bedford. There were tons of activities for her to involve herself in on the daily. She put puzzles together, played Bingo, went to devotions, ate her wonderful meals in the dining room daily, and talked to her many friends. Everyone there, was very sweet to my mother and she loved all of them as well. As she started deteriorating in health, they put even more time and effort into her daily tasks, and she spent the remainder of her life in her happy place. Hats off to the nursing staff, directors, and all workers there. Best facility in the area for assisted living care.

The whole staff are caring, supportive and very engaged with the residents who are in their care. The staff are always willing to help or answer questions and their interaction with my father-in-law was amazing. They loved him and gave him loving care. The facilities are kept very clean and it seems everytime I was there someone was cleaning something. We appreciate all of them and know our loved one was loved and received excellent care. I highly recommend this facility to anyone.

The entire team at Cedar Creek in Bedford did an excellent job of caring for my Mom during her stay. I didn’t have one bad experience over the 7 months that she was there. If I called in the evening or anytime they were all eager to help and check up on Mom or do whatever I asked. Mom was comfortable there and knew that each caregiver had her best interest in mind. I would definitely recommend the Cedar Creek facility to a friend or family member that needed a place for their loved one to stay where they could be confident that they would receive the best care possible.

After just a few hours of touring and questions, mom knew it was the place for her. Now 4 months later, it still is the perfect place for her. My sisters and I visit Mom at all kinds of different times. The staff is always engaging with both residents and guests. The facility is spotless and inviting. Jeff, the maintenance director helped with moving mom in and takes care of all things mom needs from hanging shelves to repairing equipment and more. The facility also allows dogs which has been huge in mom feeling at home in her studio apartment. Everyone was patient and supportive as Daisy Mae adjusted to her new home. This is one time that the first impression proved true and has even grown as she settled into her new home. Mom is able to receive physical therapy on site, attend craft sessions, play Bingo, do daily devotions, have access to a nurse to help manage her health needs and participate in group outings. The peace of mind that Cedar Creek has given to her four daughters can not be underestimated. Mom has access to immediate help 24 hours a day. Kim, the director does an outstanding job with balancing all the dynamics families experience in transitioning to assisted living. We are so thankful we found the right place for our mom on our first try!

The staff at Cedar Creek take great care of my grandfather. They communicate with my family to meet his needs and are very good to work with. There are activities for the residents to participate in Bible Study, Crafts, and singing. We enjoy visiting with my grandpa in the outdoor area with the rocking chairs, swing, and flowers.

After a very poor experience with another assisted living facility, I found Cedar Creek of Bedford. I live in Bloomington but chose Cedar Creek of Bedford because of the home-like feel which was confirmed by the kindness of the first people I met there. My Mom lived there the last two years of her life. She found a real community there, a mix of individuals at different levels and a truly dedicated staff who work hard to keep the residents involved in the ways that work for them. Staff are very caring and patient. They truly like and care for those who live there and are respectful of each individual. Every staff person there gives their individual best from the Director to nursing staff to the cooks in the kitchen, everyone and for the residents, there are all kinds of activities, crafts, outings and special events. Residents’ families are included and encouraged to participate too! And lots of work goes into not just keeping a clean and safe residence but also in making it homey and celebrating holidays of all kinds. It is the people who make a home and this was home for my Mom. And when we knew my Mom didn’t have a lot of time left, they were there for her and for me as she left this world. I highly recommend that if you are looking for yourself or a loved one or a friend, you visit and meet the staff there. Bedford has a wonderful treasure in Cedar Creek of Bedford.

Nikki & her staff took really good care of mom during a recent respite. The accommodations were really clean & nicely decorated. Mom is most critical about cleanliness & she ranted & raved about how clean the facility is. The staff took such good care of mom, at the end of her stay it seemed like she was saying goodbye to lifelong friends. She hugged each one of them & told them she loved them. I highly recommended Cedar Creek for your assisted living needs.

There are not enough wonderful things to say about Bliss Place. The staff is wonderful to not only their residents but also the family. We can rest knowing that our Dad is being well taken care of. After months of worry, "incidents", and concern, I had to make a decision about my mother. Of course you go back and forth in your head of wondering if you're able to care for your parent yourself and the guilt that goes along with that. Every case is different but I'm raising a grandchild, helping raise another, and felt like I was being torn in so many directions. I was trying to shop, clean, do laundry and take care of Mom and two households. I was exhausted. I researched different facilities, sat down and worked "the numbers" on whether I could pay for private care at home, and it was actually more than the cost of assisted living, so I scheduled a meeting with Katrina at Bliss Place. She was very professional, warm, informative, caring, and answered every question I had. No one wants to leave a home they've lived in for most of their life but sometimes you have to make that choice for them, no matter how difficult it is. Mom has always been very independent and had a difficult time adjusting at first, but seems to be very happy there now. The staff is wonderful, caring, and they all work together no matter what needs done. Mom has made friends and has people to talk to all day, as well as constant daily activities to keep her busy. Her apartment is cleaned weekly, her laundry and sheets washed, and she has three healthy meals a day. I can now rest knowing she's taken care of 24/7, and know I can call at any time to get information about med changes, have her oxygen or blood pressure checked, and just find out in general how she's doing and what kind of trouble she's causing that day! 🙂 You are all appreciated! I would recommend this facility to anyone!

My parents chose to live at Bliss should the need ever arise unfortunately my mother did not make it to live there, my dad does however live there now and personally I feel he made a great choice, the staff there shows a genuine concern for all of their residents..

As a health care provider I love Bliss Place. The staff is always friendly and cooperative, the residents are well cared for. The facility is very clean, residents are treated well, they have a resident ambassador that represent them. Lots of activities. They have their own physical therapy department. The nurses are devoted to the residents, they go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure the residents get what they need and more. I enjoy going there to see my patients.

Bliss Place offers accessibility and safety features throughout. Social areas are visible to staff, clean and welcoming. This new home allows pets and provides an apartment, with kitchenette, to be filled with treasured items from home. There are activities for those who enjoy participating as well as weekly beauty shop/barber, manicures, trash removal and laundry service. Loved ones have all of the necessities covered for them so they have time to be social and get involved. I highly recomnend Bliss Place under Kim Watson's management. Add this facility to your list before you sign anywhere else!

Bliss Place is a caring, wonderful place. My parents moved to Bliss Pace over two years ago, and not a day goes by that I am not thrilled with B.P. My Dad passed away with Altzheimers, and the care he received before his passing, was exemplary. My mother has been cared for with love, and patience, and I could tell many stories of the care she receives. Thank you, Bliss Place!

Bliss Placing is an amazing Senior Assisted Living HOME. The staff is by fay the best of the best.
