My mother lived here for 10 years. I am still traumatized by what just happened. The apartment manager, "name removed", gave a key to my deceased mother's apt (she died October 17) to her "friend" a home health aide who works in the building, did not work for my mother, has a police record, and does not work for Longfellow Plaza. This home health aide was given a key to my mother's apartment on an "emergency" basis to feed a cat. This was not necessary. My mother's actual hired home health aide was feeding pets. This home health aide who had no business in my deceased mother's apartment proceeded to treat her belongings like her own personal garage sale and give my mom's belongings away, sell them? Who knows what she did with my mom's property, but it was disgusting and inappropriate and unprofessional.

Longfellow Plaza is A Wonderful Place. It is an apartment community for Retired or Apartments for People with Disabilities! The apartments are updated and new, the staff that work there are really Caring and Wonderful Employees. There is always activities for the residents to do They have a really nice large community room that they all get to use. If someone is in need of a place that is equipped for handicapped people or with disabilities They are income-based I would Highly Recommend them for having your Loved one lLve at Longfellow Plaza!!!

Just another place where they warehouse our elders. The owners of Longfellow claim to ran by the RF foundation beautiful non-profit supposedly doing all kinds of great things that they most definitely are not. They horribly and they're based in California but yet this is where we Warehouse are senior elders it's horrible, we should be ashamed of ourselves as Humanity

I live at Longfellow Plaza. It has very nice management, and apartments are well maintained. But I thought that there would be lots of places to go,being near downtown, since I do not have a car, but other than church (3or4 nearby) not much going on here. Most likely exacerbated because of virus that is limiting activities. The managers are excellent, maintenance good. They do have a church service in the building on WED, and are starting some bingo now. The good thing we are close to the bus station. Pandemic has restricted some of the independent activity..but it's coming back. Also there is a Dollar tree store and small grocery, as well as a couple of restaurants. The river is close by for a bit of scenery. C Smith
