Nursing staff is great. Food and food selection is poor at best. The head over this facility, Cindy Cooper, has absolutely no business working with people let alone in the care of people. In every interaction, while my grandmother lived in this facility, Cindy was very rude and uncaring even making snide remarks under her breath in front of my grandmother when she did not like what she was told about why she was moving out. This facility is expensive for the dated facility and lack of amenities as well as poor menu and food; their care level packages are also grossly overpriced. As a POA, I signed for a level of care package on the 23rd, for said care to be billed effective the 1st of the following month, and was also billed prorated from the 23rd. This facility assesses residents every 6 months, so if they happen to have a difficult month or a fall they have to pay for it for 6 months. This facility comes and takes laundry from residents' rooms while they are asleep to wash and bring back as they see fit, but then charge the residents for extra laundry if they deem it is needed more than once a week then try to argue with the family that it is that way everywhere, when in fact it is not. All in all, I feel the 3 star rating is high, but their nursing staff deserves 5 stars and the rest of the facility really doesn't even earn 1. It was bad enough that even at the new facility my grandmother is at, she asks them before they do ANYTHING, "Are you going to charge me extra for that?"

My mother loves this facility. The food is excellent, the staff is above and beyond in all aspects. During her transition we were looking for a perfect fit and we found it!

This is the greatest facility with the best nurses and staff there is. We highly recommend if you have to move your loved to a assisted-living this is the place!! The apartments are nice, not just a room, the nurses are fabulous and they really care for my mother (Mary Branum) and she really cares for them. She tells us all the time she’s well taken care of and we can take her out shopping or just to visit us anytime. We worry a lot less her being at Keystone!! Thank you to everyone there. You are the best and very appreciated!!!

After stepping foot in Keystone Woods Assisted Living I knew I found my new home. I was greated by a sweet receptionist and guided by a knowledgeable Assistant Administrator. I was immediately introduced to the Director, Adminstator. The rooms are spacious and the facility is kept very clean. There are activities to keep us as active as we desire. The nursing staff is outstanding. I highly recommend Keystone Woods for your new home.

Keystone Woods is a wonderful community that has become home to my mother. My family members are all happy that Mom is living there. I can not imagine any other facility doing any better job at caring for my mom. While the physical facility is not the newest or fanciest available, it provides a very comfortable home with an excellent level of care which is the most important attribute of any long term care setting. I would highly recommend Keystone Woods to anyone in the community looking for these services.

Keystone Woods is an excellent Assisted Living facility, one that is a family atmosphere, one where all admin and staff go above and beyond to care for your loved one.....A place where my Mom called home for two years. I wouldnt have wanted her to be anywhere else nor would she...she loved everything about it...her independence, the activities, friendships with both residents and staff, but at the same time the safety net of having nursing staff when needed.

Great place and exceptional staff. My mother lived there for 2 years before her passing. She was taken care of very well. This place is excellent for every thing they offer and no need to worry about your loved ones, youll have peace of mind.

Ive been extremely impressed with the staff and leadership at Keystone, especially through the Covid-19 pandemic. The overall facility cleanliness is remarkable! The sensitivity to the needs of the residents, as well as their families, deserves recognition. The Director, now in his new role, has an uncanny ability to sense the needs of residents and staff alike to activities and programming that compensate for limited family & friends contact visits. I applaud the facility updates, the intense maintenance regimen but most of all the respect of individual needs of each resident in unusual times. Bravo!

I cant say enough good about Keystone Woods and their staff. My dad was of very advanced age and he was not a happy camper when he couldnt live independently anymore. He may have been angry at me, but he really liked his apartment and staff at Keystone. The staff--from the Director to everyone else--took time with me to help both of us through this transition. Whenever he was hospitalized, I made it clear that I wanted to get him back to Keystone as soon as possible because i thought he did his best healing there. I dont live in Anderson and got calls all the time about his situation. Within a couple of weeks before his death he told me how much he wanted to go back to the farm--his name for Keystone. I never worried about him and he was never concerned for his care. I feel so fortunate that we found Keystone and Ill certainly miss the people there.

Went for Family Night tonight as my MIL Beverly McIntyres guest. Great group of workers here. I cannot count the number of people who went out of their way to give a gentleman at our table a hug. Nothing but smiles & laughter all the time. Cannot thank these people enough for the great care they give. You are all a blessing.
