My mother was diagnosed with Dementia, and we had to move her in with us. After a year, we saw her declining. We were lucky to find The Radcliff. Even though she has memory issues she shines at the Radcliff. They keep her engaged in actives, anything from Art and Crafts, playing games, social gathering's or just sitting with others for a meal. The staff are wonderful and truly make her feel at home.

My mom had the privilege of living at the Radcliff after her stroke. Transitioning from being 100% independent in her own home to a care facility was challenging for our mother, the family, and her friends. I can not begin to express how compassionate the staff was in terms of providing her with the very best of care. I truly felt like they loved her and they took care of her as if she were their own family. I visited almost every day not because I needed to check up on the staff but because I wanted to be with my mom. If I needed to be away for a week I did not think twice about her personal care. I felt she was safe, clean, and cared for both physically and emotionally. When I asked for things to be handled in a specific manner it was taken care of without a problem. All of her friends and extended family loved the Radcliff and said they felt like they were in a 5 star hotel with they visited. I recommend the Radcliff without hesitation to anyone looking for a loving environment for their loved one.

The Radcliff management and staff are just outstanding! From the time my parents moved in, they received an abundance of love and excellent care from nurses, CNAs, housekeeping, food service, and maintenance staff, activities coordinators, management, etc.! Mom and Dad always felt cherished and valued; and they loved to tell everyone how very happy they were at The Radcliff. The staff and management also bent over backwards to make sure our family members were comfortable with the treatment and care being provided, and were extremely supportive when they each passed. The bottom line is this - The Radcliff truly cares about all of the residents, and their families. I believe you would be hard pressed to find a better assisted living and memory care facility.

I work in healthcare and was so impressed with the kindness and genuine caring the staff provided to my mom. From the administration, RNs, CNAs, therapists, and support staff everyone was exceptional. When issues arose, as they generally will, our concerns were dealt with quickly and appropriately.

It's never an easy thing as children to relocate a parent from their daily surroundings to something brand new to them, or for the parent to have to adjust to that. After a long search for the perfect place, The Radcliff proved to be the perfect place for our mom. From the first time we walked in to show mom the place, and met Marita, she (and we) felt comfortable and welcomed. Marita was very caring and considerate of moms personal needs and concerns. It took only two days for us to move her in, with a great deal of help from Brian and his team, and for her to meet almost the entire staff. Everyone was very eager to meet mom and introduce her to other residence so she can immediately make friends and create a sense of comfort. It wasn't long before she was excited to call her new apartment 'home.' The Radcliff allows mom the independence to do the things she can on her own, and have the assistance needed for anything at all at the press of a button, any time of the day. With some of her children living out of state, The Radcliff allows a great deal of peace of mind that mom is being well taken care of by Theresa and Lisa, as well as the whole staff on a daily basis, and checked in on by Nick and the medical staff regularly. It's a great bonus that the culinary staff is top of the line and the on-site salon is available to keep her nails and hair on point for daily beauty and special occasions. As a practicing catholic, I personally love the on-site mass, as she loves this time every week, and the daily activities that keep her energy up and her social skills active. I believe this is one of the best decisions we've made for mom and I look forward to my visits and sleepovers with her!!!

My mother has been a resident of the Radcliff for the last 6 months. I have never seen her happier. She really is thriving, she has made many friends and is engaging, like she use to in her younger years. After my father died, my mother, who had Alzheimer's, could not stay home alone and it was getting very expensive to provide 24-hour care and the necessary supplies to keep the house running. We researched various facilities and it was by divine intervention that we were lucky enough to find out about The Radcliffe. It's a very special place, really a gem. I wish my mom could have gone there sooner so she could have enjoyed their assisted living quarters. They also have independent living for those who are still able to live independently but enjoy the conveniences provided by The Radcliffe. And the food is excellent, yes, they have an amazing chef and kitchen team. The patience demonstrated in the memory care area is heart-warming. They truly provided numerous engagement opportunities for the residents. My mom made friends, which made me feel good. Another noticeable difference at this facility is the feeling you get from the workers who are always there with a hello and a smile and work so well with one another. I think it makes a big difference when workers have each other's back and everyone is ready to lend a hand. Hats off to Alan and his team, from nursing to maintenance to sales and operations!!

My mom has been in The Radcliff since November of 2020. We went into the Covid Lockdown right around then. The staff at the Radcliff did so much to keep her comfortable and safe, and we were very grateful for their help. The Radcliff is the best decision we ever made regarding my mom's well being. Her meals are wonderful, she has many new friends. But the supporting staff in the real deal. Everyone from the Cafe, housekeeping, front desk, staff contractors, activity people, the nurses....they all know my mom. Kindness and care is what Alan and his crew give out at the Radcliff. They are really good at it too.

I have found this place to be clean and well maintained.IDPH has provided a zero concern report to this facility. The owner and staff have been nothing but generous by offering answers to all any questions regarding a seniors stay and more recently the possible Radcliff vocational academy.

I worked at the Radcliff last summer as a waitress and had a wonderful experience. It was overwhelmingly apparent how much they care for the physical safety and happiness of their residents. Especially during the current pandemic, they have consistently kept their residents’ health a top priority. All of the staff greeted me with a smile and whenever I needed help, there was always someone there to answer questions or show me the way. Every staff member works so hard to ensure that the Radcliff has a welcoming and nurturing environment. The residents are all so kind and made my days better.

I have toured most of the communities in the chicagoland area during my time as a senior living advisor and when it came time for me to move my career into a single community role I chose The Radcliff in Wood Dale as my new employment home because it really is unlike anywhere else I have been. At The Radcliff there is a kindness and a warmth I hadnt found anywhere else. Alan (The owner) brings a humanity to The Radcliff and truly cares for each person who steps through the doors here. Staff, Residents and their families are all treated with kindness, understanding and respect. This is a place that I would trust with my parents when the time comes that they need more help.

They say if the resident pushes the button they will respond within 10 min. but my father has needed help in the middle of the night and once they forgot about him and the other time he needed to call 911 because of no response , so now we are looking for somewhere else to move him again ,If your looking for a home with assistance this is not the place to be.

We decided along with my father to select the Radcliff for his place to stay after he sold his condo. It was the best decision we ever made. The Radcliff is a beautiful place and dealt with all the challenges with COVID. My dad enjoyed his stay and made many friends. He passed away the day after Christmas 2020 of natural causes he was 96 years old.. Thank you to the management and staff at the Radcliff for all they did for my father.

This is the finest place we have ever worked with..had mom in dachau..Previous type home mom said when we got her in radcliff...is this heaven?? MURITA and SUE are just the best and hospice is now working great. Helping my friend look for a place for her Mom, while the staff was friendly, and they had a good selection of activities on their calendar (and on their Facebook) for the residents to enjoy (something we are looking for, which will play a big role in our decision process), may not be the right choice for her.

My dad had not been looking good for some time, he was becoming withdrawn & would not accept our help. When he had a bad fall we knew it was time for change. We chose Randall Residence because it was new & inviting. Dad had lived in Wood Dale for many years & liked the location. What a great choice! Hes enjoying life & we know the food is good because he gained back some if the weight hed lost. He looks better than he has in years!
