My Auntie lived at Waterloo Garden Place just short of six years , she enjoyed the music and activities that allowed her freedom to be active. She enjoyed many friends through the years and always had a bright spot for the employees.

Years of Plenty- My mom's life has turned around since she moved into Garden Place of Waterloo in late 2020! Gone are her worries about the yard, worries about groceries, and worries about her safety and security! Instead, she now lives in a beautiful apartment, that is well maintained and safe. She has nutritious, delicious meals! My mom has personal attendants, medical providers who visit her, church services, social events, exercise classes, and new friends. My mom loves the food and has even gained back some of her weight that she lost living alone eating tv dinners. We knew our mother needed some assistance with living but she was firmly set on living independently. Garden Place offered just the right blend. And she LOVES IT. The staff have been kind, loving and treat her like family. They have gone above and beyond in caring for her needs. Mom loves having her own apartment where she can have her own things with her.

Donna Foy, Executive Director, made the whole move in-life changing process so easy for my mom, my siblings and me; even during the covid pandemic. Donnas staff are well trained, kind and compassionate. Everyone has been welcoming to my mom- including maintenance, housekeeping and the personal caregivers! My mom loves the food and has even gained back some of her weight that she lost living alone eating tv dinners. Hey its a great place for senior people its basically for people who can basically live on there own but just with assistance just in case I recommend it I use to work there I see how the people living there how well they are on there own

My father has been a resident of Garden Place for several years. I could not imagine a better place for him to be! They have gone above and beyond to keep the residents safe during the pandemic. So far, none of the residents have contracted the virus! I really appreciate the communication of the entire staff. Regular emails sent out to family members for updates, calls from staff when they have concerns with Dads health and updates on changes of procedures. Most important, my dad is as healthy as he can be and happy!

My mom has been at Garden Place Senior Living in Waterloo for over 4 years and loves it. It is a small community environment. The staff are Amazing, Personable and Very Caring. The food is Great! Donna Foy the Executive Director is wonderful! With her diligents she has not allowed the Coronavirus to enter the building! I highly recommend Garden Place in Waterloo!

My parents have lived at Garden Place Waterloo for a couple of years, and we couldnt be more delighted with the experience. The staff is the best group of caring, loving and respectful individuals that we could have hoped for. The facility offers quality meals, plenty of activities, and the assistance that my parents require on a daily basis. It has been a wonderful choice!

My mother-in-law lives here and she loves it. The folks there are very attentive and sweet to her. Our family enjoys the parties and activites. Today, Johnny Cash was there. It was very enjoyable. I would like it if you could post the activities calendar on here or your website.

My wife's Aunt Dorothy was here. We visited weekly or even more often. The staff was the absolute best I've seen. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a home for your loved ones.

The staff is wonderful and takes very good care of my mother. I can't think of anything negative to say. Mom has found companionship and kindness there and a much better quality of life than she had alone in her own home.

They take exellent care of Mom. She has dementia and cannot be left alone so we moved her to Garden Place about 3 years ago. In all that time I have no complaints, just compliments and gratitude.
