Randy who works in memory care is outstanding. How he convinces my father to let him shave him is beyond me. My dad can be very strong willed and at 99 he will tell you. I'm 99 years old I do things myself. Such a relief to visit him and see he is being well cared for. Thank you to all that care for my dad in memory care. God bless you all

As of right now Im searching different ALs for one of my parents. Bickford of Tinley Park was my first call. I spoke to Brittany for over an hour. She answered every question I had concerning services and care. She was not only professional but was very compassionate to my concerns. Even though I have not toured the facility yet nor have I met Brittany personally or the staff at Bickford, I felt like I was already part of there family.

We are very happy here at Bickford. Both my aunt who lives here and I who can now just visit and enjoy being with her. The care she gets I could never provide for her at home. Yet this place feels and looks like an elegant home. I cant say enough good things about the staff. There is a personal kindness felt here that is rare to find.

My mother was a resident at Bickford of Tinley Park for almost a year before she joined my dad in the next world and as a family we could not have made a better choice. Mom was living at home with a caregiver before moving to Bickford and her only regret was that she didnt move there sooner! The staff is courteous, kind, knowledgeable and caring. No one could ask more of them. The facilities themselves are outstanding. They are clean, decorative, well maintained and provide all that anyone would need and want. One feels as though they are at posh hotel. If you have a family member who requires assisted living I would not hesitate to have them live at Bickford. You will be given great piece of mind!

My Grandma lived at Bickford until God called her home... it is a wonderful place. The holiday party we went to last year was amazing! They put so much love in all of the events! The activity director is amazing too and the residents just adore her!

My mom is living "the good life" at Bickford of Tinley Park. Mom is 85, and legally blind.... I wanted her to feel at home, and she does... she loves her little apartment...takes pride on keeping it clean...but most of all, she LOVES the staff...meeting up with new friends everyday. When she calls me at night, she is very excited to tell me all she has done for the day. Thank you Bickford family for taking such good care of my mom!

My Mom is a resident since August 2016. I have to say that I am very pleased with this location. My Mom is more active than she was when she was staying with me. ( I guess I'm boring). For the most part, the employees are very attentive to the residents. My Mom loves most of them. But as in any workplace you have a few slackers. People that don't have their job in their heart. Those people will be weeded out I'm sure, because of the Bickford culture. They just don't fit in, and will be figured out sooner or later. My Mom is actually thriving. She is feeling better, looks better. Rene the activities Gal, is phenomenal! She is very patient with the residents, she is kind, caring, and tries to get everyone involved in the activities. Rene is also very accommodating to the residents families. She is an awesome person, and needs to be acknowledged for her presence at Bickford. The other person is Roman, he is a hands on type person. He gets things done, when others don't. He also is very kind to both the residents and their families. Tackles, and handles any issues immediately. He too needs to be recognized by Bickford. There are way too many people to name that are truly caring people. The level of care is way better than other facilities. There are only few issues that I have. One is the cost. I wish it was more cost effective. I do realize you get what you pay for concept, but I think it is a little pricey. I agree I too wish they accepted Medicare,and Medicaid. That would help these residents live a comforting life for as long as they have. The meals need to be more like the old days, meat, gravy, potatoes, veggies. The style that are serving seem to appeal to the younger generation. It is very tasty, just not the type of meals this generation likes. And the few bad employees, need to be trained properly, or they don't belong within the Bickford Culture. They need to take note of Rene and Roman to learn compassion. I have already recommended this facility to friends, and even folks that come in to tour the location. I will continue to recommend this location. As I am pleased with the care my Mom is receiving.

As a HC provider here, working with seniors as well, The "Bickford family" are AWESOME to work with!! No matter what town and/or community (facility) you go to, from the Executive Directors to their nurses, and program staff, they all share this unique, friendly attitude and charisma in dealing with people. I personally witnessed how they approach their residents -- they're amazing! They are wonderful and give them thumbs up for all they do. Good luck and more power!

It is a beautiful facility. The only bad thing is that it doesn't take Medicaid. My children live right on 167th and 80th Ave. Good luck with your endeavor.
