I am continually amazed at all the things Villas of Holly Brook and Reflections Memory care in Streator, IL do for their residents. Before choosing a place for my dad, I toured at least 4 other options and hands down chose Villas of Holly Brook in Streator. The first impression I had of Villas of Holly Brook was what a beautiful, clean, homey atmosphere it is. I was extremely impressed with the size of each apartment on the assisted living side of the building, and even more blown away by the size of their memory care. It was nice to know if he needed to go from assisted living to memory care, he could just move within the same building/community rather than start over in a new place. Their memory care has a huge open concept living, dining, social area that allows their residents to move around freely as they would at home, choosing whether to sit near friends, watch tv, join in a group activity or go back and have time to themselves in their own space. I did not see anything like that at any of the other places I toured. But beyond that, one of the main things that really sets this place apart from the rest is how they create a fun activity, party, or celebration for almost every current event, holiday, or season. It does so much to lift the spirit of their residents, their families, and I'm guessing the staff as well, because I always see lots of smiles and fun being had by all. This could be contributing to the great care the staff offers their residents. They do more than check off their list of things to be completed. They actually get to know their residents as people by celebrating and engaging with them in so many different ways.

Wonderful facility! Our matriarch has been a resident for 18 months and has received wonderful care from the staff. The nurses Lala, Vicki and Arnold are exceptional. Janie, April and Mac are always a delight. The director Kim is always approachable and caring. Kim on top of everything! Everyone's residence grandson Frank to the rescue on all matters needing a handyman . This facility provides a wonderful opportunity for the community when the need arrives for a caring and safe place for your loved ones. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being part of this stage in life. God bless the entire team

My mom is staying in this Beautiful place. She even has her dog with her. The staff is amazing and so compassionate!! Great place to have a Loved One Stay and it gives you peace of mind they are being treated so well. Love The Villas!!

The Villas of Hollybrook has been just what my mother needs to live her best life. The care she receives is second to none and the encouragement she receives is wonderful. It's so comforting to know that she is cared for and she is so happy.

Lovely facility! Our mom has been living here for 3 months now. She LOVES her apartment! She really enjoys the weekday movies in the movie theater.Bingo is also a favorite! The food is delicious- the food service professionals offer excellence in the dining experience for all residents, even personalizing as requested. The leadership has proven to be so amazing! Our family appreciates everyone here!!!

I am writing this review as a happy current employee. I enjoy being a part of The Villas of Hollybrook in Streator. I was one of the first few to be hired. Originally I was going to be a CNA but fell in love with the Activity Room on my tour. I felt it was where I needed to be. I worked hard to help open the building and turn it into a home. It was very rewarding. I applied for the Activity Director position right away. My nearly 20 combined years of being a skilled nursing, home health, Rehabilitation CNA and Geriatric Care Specialist gave me the heart and passion to help seniors that I needed to fill this position, the residents gave me the confidence, life, soul, and silliness that I needed to fill this position. We have been able to grow together as a community from the beginning. I am blessed to be the Activity Director of this beautiful and unique community. It has been a learning process doing something new but I have always wanted to make things better for seniors. Working here is rewarding and we are still growing as a team everyday, doing our best to make the inner workings of a place like this possible. I enjoy coming into work to keep our residents happy, active and to put smiles on their faces. We hold a high standard of care and offer a variety of Activities that keep things fun. The atmosphere makes it a place that is exciting to work at and at the same time is also very clean and professional. I recommend working for The Villas of Hollybrook.

From the moment you walk into this gorgeous building you just know that this is a place your family member can call home. With luxury accommodations, interiors, lighting and amenities ... well you feel like you are in a 5-Star hotel! I've seen the passionate caregivers in action. They are the exact people I would love to have taking care of my own parents every day! This community was designed with a purpose. I see attention to every detail. I am also very amazed with the Staff in place. I can tell that there are very high standards at the Villas of Holly Brook Streator!

My aunt has made amazing improvements since she has been living at Holly Brook in Streator. The staff is so caring. She was at a nursing home under hospice care. She is now independent and active. The nurses keep me updated if there are any concerns. Every staff member goes out of their way to make sure my aunt is happy. I can't say enough good. I am so glad I chose to move her here.
