Eileen and the Encore staff were the perfect fit for our mother. I cannot say enough about the excellent care and the kindness she was shown. They truly have the residents best interest in mind! The facility is clean and mom is always clean with her hair brushed. Mom loves bingo and as she has declined in her cognitive abilities, Sherri puts her right next to her so she can help her play her bingo cards. It means so much to have her at a place that she is safe, well cared for and loved. We are forever grateful to Eileen and the entire staff!!

Encore of South Barrington is the "best decision" we every made for our Mom's memory care needs. As soon as you walk through the front door, you immediately feel "at home". Encore provide a warm, enjoyable but structured environment that makes your loved one feel safe and comfortable. The compassionate staff does an exceptional job assisting with bathing, dressing, meals and managing of all her medications. I personally love that there are daily fun-filled activities and programs planned to keep our mom engaged and interacting with others. The best part is that our Mom is HAPPY and that makes our family HAPPY.

I just moved my 87-year old mom with Alzheimer's to Encore after an exhaustive search for the right memory care place for her. What I love about Encore is that it is 100% memory care residents - so that is their whole focus! Alisa Owen and the nurse director, Cynthia, are fantastic. My mom was staying at a rehab facility 30 minutes away, and they took the time to visit her, do the intake assessment, and coordinate her transfer with the rehab discharge coordinator with very minimal involvement from me. They have made arrangements to continue her therapy at Encore, switch over her pharmacy to them, and even the primary care doctor to one who visits in-house. Alisa and Cynthia made this entire transition incredibly easy. The facility is incredibly clean, smells good, is beautifully decorated and brightly lit. Caregiver faces are friendly. The rooms come fully furnished (the only facility we looked at that provides furnishings) and the room sizes are generous. Pricing was also very competitive with other facilities who don't offer as much. I feel like my mom will get the social interaction she needs to help these last years be enjoyable for her. - Gina Williams

It is a very difficult decision and process for finding a care facility for a family member with dementia. We reached out to Encore after my mother's physical and mental health decline had made it so she needed to be in a memory care facility. We toured and researched several places. The team at Encore acted as an advocate for my mom and family to help transition my mom from a rehab facility into Encore. They went above and beyond to help get my mom settled into the facility. Since she has been living there, the care she has received has been truly compassionate and exceptional. They treat her with kindness, give her options and treat her with respect, and keep her active and engaged. When the only thing you can hope for is that your mom is comfortable and cared for in a loving way, Encore absolutely delivers this. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

From one of our family members: Kristen F. I was looking for a residence for my husband while I recuperated from some surgery. I was very apprehensive about doing so as I would be away from my husband for a period of time and unable to visit with him in person. I searched numerous facilities and came across Encore which was so close to my home. I toured the facility and was extremely impressed with the Director of Sales & Marketing as well as the Executive Director. In no way at all did I feel I was given the typical sales pitch but rather a caring, understanding discussion and tour of the facility which provided me with a peace of mind in making my decision. The facility is beautiful, very welcoming and well organized. The staff is very friendly, takes the time to introduce themselves and gets to know the residents and family members. The medical care is outstanding, communication is great between the nursing staff and myself and the aides are wonderful. My husband loves the food and daily activities, a plus for him.

Our Mother and family are so happy we found them. The size is cozy, lots of activities to do each day, everyone is very friendly. Encore So Barrington staff works with you to provide the care we want for mom. Mom has Freedom to do what she wants, move around freely but with caring eyes. They make us feel like family. I can't say enough positive things about my moms exceptional care at Encore. She loves how busy they keep her with wonderful actiities. My Aunt has been in this facility for eight months now. The kindness and care she has received in that time at Encore is outstanding. My wife passed away at the end of October 2022. As I look back on why I chose Revere Court of South Barrington, I can remember my first visit, unannounced June 2019. While I waited for a staff member to take me on a tour. I looked around and saw a group of residents playing a game. I also saw something that I had never seen at any other care facility I perversely visited. A caretaker was on her knees holding the hand of a resident helping her get up. I said to myself, this is the place for my wife. The best decision I made, my wife was treated with dignity, respect, and most important; everyone at the facility cares. My mom has lived at Revere Court of South Barrington for over 2 years. During this stressful last year, I am so grateful for all the extraordinary efforts the Revere team has done to keep Mom safe. Revere Court took over Autumn Leaves 7 months ago. The new staff is wonderful! The staff is supportive, fun, caring and warm! The care my 97 yr old mother is receiving is outstanding. For a woman with the disease of dementia, it is a miracle that my mom is doing so well. I wake up every day with peace knowing my mom is okay and in good hands. The staff has created a family atmosphere that makes my family so happy and always welcomed. Revere Court has been an answer to my prayers and I am so grateful for everything they have done for my mom and family.

Excellent home for Mom and Dad!! Definitely 5 stars!! My parents are 80 and 84 years old and have been here for over a year and I cannot say enough great things about Revere Court! From the nurses and caregivers to the chefs-kitchen staff as well as the event coordinators and administrators, everyone truly goes the extra mile to ensure a safe, fun and engaging environment for the residents. The communication provided to family members is great too. Revere Court is exceptionally clean and well kept as they take pride in the detail work and it definitely shows. We feel very lucky to have found such wonderful, caring staff members for Mom and Dad and can rest easy knowing they are in such great hands! Thank you for everything you do!

My father was here for 8 months. They took great care of him. He seemed to love it here especially all the staff. I witnessed nothing but kind, companionate caregivers. He passed away and they were nothing but wonderful on how they handled everything. Thank you for taking such good care of my fathers final days on earth. You truely are angels on earth.

My dad suffered from dementia, but fortunately he was able to spend his last months here. The care is exceptional! The staff to patient ratio is great, and everyone who works here cared for my dad with unbelievable compassion.
